I have the sneaking suspicion that Toybox is from somewhere in Scandanavia, mainly because I mistook them for Aqua when I first heard their songs

Toybox are from Denmark, a country in Scandinavia.

They were a part of the post-Aqua boom in Denmark along with "Daze" and "Cartoons". Most of them, including toybox, faded away quite quickly.

So there's a little nugget of knowledge that you can pass on to people at dinner parties who most likely will not give a crap.
