Has anyone else noticed that Red Falcon (the "BIG ROLLER COASTER" at Hirakata) has an odd cross-bracing? The design seems to be banked on the running rails, but the bits connecting the vertical cross-braces to the spine are horizontal.[/img]

Yeah, I noticed this as well a while ago. It's like, the spine never has to be bent in a 3d way. It stays flat. The ties are what have to be modified. Imagine the left side of the tie staying constant, but the right side gets "taller". Thus, banking occurs.

I got that one as well, but two of the discs were glitchy. The Alvey's where very cool about it and I got two replacements that worked perfectly. There are lots of strange things in Japan compared to America, but that's why I got the video
