crispy Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Good God, snow, I will hopefully still get to goto cliff's today, I was hoping this was over, guess not, thats what I get for being a Cali boy my whole life
crispy Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 HOLY CRAP, its really snowing bad, I hope I don't have any problems going home from work, Looks like Cliff's might be a no go, but if it clears up.....
Token Yankee Guy Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Oh suck it up. It's snow. Up here in New England, we don't even declare a state of emergency if we get like 2ft of snow in one storm. But right now it's actually 61 and very nice.
crispy Posted April 10, 2005 Author Posted April 10, 2005 yeah well you should see the drivers here, they crash BAD on straight roads in VERY dry conditions for no reason, throw in a tiny amount of snow, and it becomes chaos, the drivers here for the most part SUCK ASS. Chris "the only thing I miss from Cali, is the relativly good drivers" P.
phazan Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 you think 65 is nice?!? its about 85 here in northen ca and i call this nice. it gets about 50 in the coldest winter days here. 60 is about the regular winter temp.

Yeah, thanks for rubbing it in its like 49 here today I used to live in Santa Cruz, right near San Jose, the weather there is AWESOME, bu its WAY to expensive.
Space Freak Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 You know, it was very nice in New England today, but the weather people dont know whats going on. Hell, they said something about snow showers tomorrow, but who knows. All I know is that the temp is going to drop like 20 degrees from what is was today... Grrrr... But you know what Mark Twain said about New England weather? "If you dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes." Rob
crispy Posted April 11, 2005 Author Posted April 11, 2005 Well my trip to cliffs was twarted by the weather, oh well, next weekend I guess
Token Yankee Guy Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 "If you dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes." We also got, "If you don't like the weather in New England, then get out." I've run into many people who complain about the weather in New England, so I ask them, "then why did you come here in the first place?" To be a true New Englander, you gotta love all four seasons and ski.
crispy Posted April 11, 2005 Author Posted April 11, 2005 Well with regards to New Mexico, its not that I don't like the snow, the novelty has not worn off, and it snows lightly and maybe we get 3 or 4 ok snow per year, and it all usually melts by mid afternoon, so no biggie but they did close Cliff's today, so that is why it really sucked
Space Freak Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 You know, I hate winter! I really do, winter sucks balls. But when I complain about it, people always ask me "so why do you live in New England?" I hate when people ask me that. I didnt have a choice in the matter, i was born here. Rob
Token Yankee Guy Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 before anyone speaks, I'll say this....shut up. Secondly, it's snowing right now in Maine..... Craiggers "I blame New Mexico " K.
