obeygiant Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 A new ride rumor has come up again about the possible new ride for Jurassic Park. This time it's a B&M Flyer that's supposed to be located between Thunder Terrace and Ripsaw Falls. I don't know if it's true, but it could be kind of cool. I just don't know how they could fit that in with the theming of Jurassic Park. Has anyone heard anything else about this?
Imhotep Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 This is one of 2 rumors Ive been hearing for years. It would be cool if it did happen, but I think Id rather see a highly themed 'escape from the t-rex' jeep ride.... Something closer to the ground that doesnt interrupt the skyline of JP.
ECZenith Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Yeah. that rumors been going around for a while, and it would make sense given the relationship between IOA/Port Aventura and B&M, but its been going around so long I find it hard to believe. They probably won't get a new thrill ride for quite some time as everyone seems to be satisfied with what they have now. If it were themed properly, which IOA is known for, a B&M flyer would be awesome in that area... If it were more like Tatsu and not Superman.
BeemerBoy Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Yeah, I've been hearing about this one for years now, as well. I think ever since Air debuted at Alton Towers, there's been mention of a themed flyer at IOA. Personally, I drool over the idea of a flyer with an intricate pterodactyl theme to it. It fits perfectly with the story, so why not, right? Oh well, I thought I had myself trained by now to forget about that possibility ever happening.
