thomas2 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Hey guys I've got a question: Why doesn't Vekoma make their Whirlwind or their Corkscrew with Bayerncurve anymore? It's hard to believe that these models aren't good or cool anymore. Will the same happen with their SLC's and Boomerangs (and I know alot of you wish for that )
Rollerholden Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Will the same happen with their SLC's and Boomerangs (and I know alot of you wish for that Taiko Laughing ) Boomerangs and SLCs are...fun...in their own way.

I don't really see them dying.
trustkill22 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 SLC's and Boomerangs are great rides that GP looks at and figures "Wow your feet dangle that thing is sweet" or "You go backwards through that". They are great rides to attract attention. And also the plus is that they are pretty cheap.

chaos Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Vekoma has already built so many that now they just get relocated. Look at Alton Towers' corkscrew; it's destined to be relocated someday.
weeow Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Yeah, the Zoomerang (boomerang) at Alabama Adventure came all the way from Australia. Just like TrustKill said, people will think it's amazing if it goes backwards or if you hang below the track.

That's not completely true: our Tornado @WB was offered free for anyone who wanted it. It got demolished... And I don't think that Corkscrew will be relocated some day. I think it's destined to rust in AT, but that's just my opinion
