Ryan King
Yup, Sounds like your Making a Trip to Anaheim for that one buddy..but it is REALLY Good..Disneyland Staff does a fantastic job making everything look good. Def worth making a trip out to Disneyland to see!
socalMAN123
Ryan is right, making a trip over here for Haunted Mansion Holiday is defenitly worth it. It usually goes up in the end of September so it is open for Halloween until the end of January. ---Brent
BeemerBoy
I've always wondered, if it's so "good," then why not build a permanent one for it? Lord knows the goth and emo kids need love too. rollermonkey
I finally saw this at TDL this past winter. It really was quite impressive how they were able to convert the ride from the 'standard' version to the Holiday version. I don't think it would be as special if it was that way all the time though. Also, the Disney pursits would go ape$#!t if HH was converted permanently!
BeemerBoy
^ Yeah, I have heard they do an exceptional job transforming it....but........ And I'd definitely be one of those purists ready to storm Iger's office if it ever happened. I was just suggesting a separate permanent installation for the ride as themed to "Nightmare." It's already a cult classic, and if every other Disney movie can have it's own ride, why not Nightmare, right?
rollermonkey
The rights agreement between Disney and Tim Burton is probably pretty sticky. I don't think a second standalone version of the Holiday Haunted Mansion is the way to go, either. A completely new, different Nightmare Before Christmas attraction would be an excellent idea. Now, what should it be?
BeemerBoy
A completely new, different Nightmare Before Christmas attraction would be an excellent idea. Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I guess I coulda been a bit clearer on that one. Hey wait, we should ask Cerberus to draw something up for it. Have you seen his ToT renderings? Amazing stuff. Paging Cerberus...... rollermonkey
No problem. Cerberus, are you reading this? Maybe we should PM him?
