FRD714 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Got to the park around 9:50am. The weather was predicted to be rainy, and it sure was rainy for almost the whole time I was there. I headed to V2 first. Station was empty. Got on row 2 then rode one more time in row 1. Great ride as usual. Next was Batman. It was stopped on the lift when I walked up to the entrance, but then it opened. Only waited about 15 minutes. Got row 6. Only 1 train was running. The other was in the maint. bay. Dont know what for. Later on it was put on the track. Then we headed over to American Eagle. Both sides were running so we took ried. Decent ride in row 4. Then the rain started so we went to Dejavu, but found out it was closed due to the rain. So we sat at the entrance for about 10 minutes talking to a ride op. (thats me in the sox shirt) Since we saw that Demon was running, we went there next. Had a long line for once. Got into the station and was closed due to the weather. So we waited since no rides looked like they were open. The ride op decided to start a game of Six Flags Trivia. Then about 15 minutes later it opened back up. Good ride in row 3. Dejavu was still closed and we attempted yet again to wait it out, but we ended up leaving. We passed up Bull becuase it had a long line and went to Drop. 5 minute wait. Love this ride. Next was Bull. Waited about 25 minutes for row 5. Great ride as usual. Viper was next on the list. Had a short line. Got back row. I dont think I will ever ride in another row again. Back row owns. Viper on ride photo . Sorry for the low quality. Whats this.....Dejavu is running!!! but wait....MISCATCH!!! Yep miscatch just as I walked up to it. So I had to wait outside the entrance for the third time, but we finally got on about 30 minutes later. We got 4a. Dejavu really beat the crap out of me today. I actually felt kinda sick after. So for my last ride of the day I headed back to V2 for a ride in row 2. Had a longer wait than my first time, but it was worth it. Ride Totals: V2: 3 RB: 1 Vu: 1 GD: 1 BTR: 1 AER: 1 Viper: 1 Demon: 1 The End
Guest Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Nice pics, just a quick question... was Iron Wolf open? I went a few weeks before you, Batman and Iron Wolf were closed... they told us the lift motor for BTR was broken, so they were going to try out IW's motor... stupid SF...
M_Force_4_ever Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 so...no carousel? anyway looks like you had fun

Yes, in fact it just got new restraints. Batman however had lift problems at the end of last season. I dont remember it being broken this season though.
TheStig Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 ^Most likely they were putting the wheel covers on the other train. I was there earlier last month and it was running one train with covers and one without. Hahaha nobody visited Zach at the carousel!!! Colin C
gummibear Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 The same thing happened to me at Demon. It was raining and Demon was running so we went to ride it , and as soon as we were about to step on, they closed it due to weather.
Darien Laker Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I wonder, does Demon close in all rain? It seems like that happened to me a few years back, and there wasn't thunder or anything.

Colin C The wheel covers are still sitting in the maintnence bay. ^It wasnt really raining hard and they closed all coasters including Demon. Took 1 train off Raging Bull too which sucked.
Golfie Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Don't worry, Zach... I'm probably going to SFGAm on Friday. Looks like you had fun!
Cameron Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I was at the park on Sunday afternoon .. the weather had cleared up, and the park was considerably more crowded than it was for you .. nothing major, just 10-20 minute waits for everything. Everything was running (including Iron Wolf), although Deja Vu closed at about 8:30ish. Viper and Eagle were running very poorly, and overall I was quite disappointed with my visit. Cameron.
FRD714 Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 ^As soon as I left the park it got nice out. Dejavu has also been running damn good lately.
