verticalzero Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Any news of where this unique coaster has gone since it was removed from the park.?
martinb Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Amazingly, its still for sale, why know one would wan't this coaster is beyond me. I wonder how much longer it will be for sale for, if knowone wants it, it might get scrapped like Tornado at Walibi Belgium, and know coaster entusiast would want that to happen to this gem of a coaster -Martyn.
verticalzero Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 How much does Flamingo Land want for the coaster..? It would be a great shame it if left the UK like "Magnum Force" and "Thunderlooper", but if it went to Walibi World I would be very happy as this is one of my fav Parks in Europe. I'll email Walibi World and see what they say, the Park needs to install a new coaster within the next few years and this would be a perfect fit as it does not take up much space. If I get a reply I will let everyone know.
martinb Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Flamingo land don't own it anymore. I couldn't imagine it going to Walibi World, its too much of a "cheap" coaster as its a portable one, and thats not WW's image. I know Pleasurewood Hills are still having loads of problems with getting planning permission for the Boomerang, so if that completely fails, they will have to get another coaster as they removed their most popular ride "ever" to make way for the Boomerang, so you never know, it could end up their. -Martyn
Shockwave Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I believe Vekoma have been refurbing it, along with Magnum Force (now on its way to the Schwarzkopf retirement continent), as part of the deal when Kumali was installed.
robbalvey Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Magnum Force is on it's way to that park in Mexico, and when we were at Flamingoland I had heard that Bullet had also found a home, but I didn't hear where. It could also be that the person at Flamingoland was mistaken and in fact they meant that Magnum Force has found a home, not Bullet. --Robb
Ed Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I thought Magnum was returning to the German Fair circuit... ? [Edit, http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25845 .... or not.... Fudging Mexico of all places. First Brazil takes Thunderlooper and now this. CURSE you Central and South America!!]
PKIDelirium Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Was Bullet the oddball one with the banked station?
