I've got a few answers so far. You were at Space City in Dubai and Rode the Satelite Coaster - I used what is probably the hardest picture to figure out (the one with the red floor and what looks like volcano or fire and the title is "interesting reaction and what does it mean?) and compared it to pictures of the floor of satelite coaster from RCDB and looked at additional images on two photo hosting sites. I also believe the photo entitled "Crazy theming in this place is from" is also from space city based on the images I viewed. I also think you went to Aladdins Kingdom in Qatar (possibly the new country credit). There aren't many photos of Aladdin's Kingdom on the internet (even DubaiDave's trip report wasn't helpful because it was "ladies day".. The picture of Robb in front of a Camel has the words "Wonder caves" behind that but which could refer to where Aladdin find's the lamp.. Also the crudely drawn picture of people on a white coaster track looks like it could be an artistic interpretation of the boomerang there.. Either way the park looks bad, but not FantaZy Land bad, so I'm going with that.

From the Second to last set of clues. Pic 1.. Sign to a bathroom (Googled international bathroom signs and looked at arabic influences) Pic 2... Shark Coaster is Closed in Abu Dhabi's Fun City Pic 3... Ikea (NOticed there was an Ikea in Dubai last night and used flickr to verify the image/language) PIc 4.... Carpeting (possible the lines to follow through when inside an ikea) Pic 5.... Ikea Rats... (been to ikea before Last set of clues.... Pic 1. Generically named rollercoaster in Sparky's Family Fun Center located in the Khalidiyah Mall.... (Used RCDB to check out all of the small indoor coasters in abu dhabi Pic 2. I want to be in the UAE, but I'm unfortunately outside freezing. Pic 3. Capital Gate Tower (the worlds most leaning tower) located in Abu Dhabi (Used google images searched "abu dhabi buildings" and matched the image up. Pic 4. A close up image of the Speedy Coaster located in the other Sparky's Family Fun Center this one is located in the Mayzed Mall (rcdb again) Pic 5. Pic 6. Close up of generically named rollercoaster referenced in pic 1 Pic 7. You guys riding same rollercoaster referenced in pic 1. I know I said I was done playing, but I can't get enough of this... Confident because I'm bowing out or because I sound like a jerk online? ^^Philphan a cursory review of google maps tells me you are correct.. I wish I was in Dubai instead of dreading freezing my ass off selling Christmas Trees tomorrow.

So it looks like the rules have changed a little bit, according to the first post.. There will be 20-25 locations posted (you won't know if it is an "official" location or not) and you will have to identify the location as well as show your work for how you figured it out.. I edited a couple of our last posts to "show our work"... Since I have a really busy weekend with work ahead of me, I'm bowing out on this one (but I reserve the right to try and figure out any real tough ones).. So if I was in Dubai and I was into rollercoasters, which country would I drive to next?

No, you don't go to MotherEffing Dubai, without spending a day or three checking out the sights... This is going to be an EPIC TPR photo report.. Awesome..

Also I shop at that GNC daily which is on Sheik Zayed Rd in .... .DUBAI! I went to the GNC website searching for "stand alone" GNC's in Dubai, looking at the reflection in the glass I was able to use google maps satellite images to match the small tower to the reflection in the GNC glass..I was able to further confirm the location by it's proximity to the maze tower..

Beating the posts to TPR, but Kristin Connolly just figured out the first picture posted of the new update is of the Al Rostamani Maze Tower... in ..... drumroll..... DUBAI! Edited because of the new rules... Kristin decided that the picture resembled a building with a "maze" on it.. There are three different wagamamas in dubai.. Nothing is conclusive with that.. Unless you see something I don't.... @Philphan- What looks like the united logo on the overhead bins is likely just the seat number written out..

Here is the thing.. Wagamamas' for the most part look the same.. The interesting thing about the picture of Elissa is that the all of the seats run parrellel to the open kitchen.. In most Wagamamas they run perpendicular except for the row of tables closest to the bar or open kitchen.... Mr. Starr's photo looks like the picture, but since we can't see the entire seeting arrangement in his photo, you can't confirm it's the same place (unless you see something I don't).... The key to authenticating the Wagamama as being in the UAE is the Christmas Tree (artificial, done in white, contemporary, cosmopolitan) and the cylinder shapped chrismas presents (apparently very common in the UAE check out google images) and (puts on the racist hat) the cash register operator.... Edited to also mention.. If they were flying delta, with their status (medallion level w/e) they wouldn't be flying economy on a long flight.. They would definitely have gotten a free upgrade (or used points to get a cheap one) on a long redeye flight.. No matter where their destination might be..

Unless you are flying as cargo or you are are a time traveler, you didn't fly Pan-Am on this trip.... You didn't fly out of JFK -- (The Pan-Am WorldPort)...Although JFK was called IdleWild before it was renamed (see page 26, also kind of a mindfuck) Pan-Am didn't merge with any other airlines, they just sold off assets.. I'm pissed.. Kristin and I were trying to send Robb & Elissa a bottle of wine in Dubai.. They aren't staying at either Hilton, the Crowne Plaza, or even the Courtyard by Marriot neer the green centre.. Damnit.. I'd call more hotels but they can't understand my accent... Real talk.. Here is My science... The first set of clues establish that Robb and Elissa are at LAX.. The time these were posted confirms the fact that they would have been able to make flight 976 out of Denver to Dubai. KidTums isn't with them as I'm guessing this isn't a cheap trip and it will be relatively short.. I'd get my flu shots as well if I was traveling international. Flight 976 leaves Denver within the time frame of the posts.. They definitely ate or visted a California Tortilla. (The Napkin clearly establishes that and one of the busiest California Tortillas just happens to be at the Dulles airport). It was also taken during a Layover time.. Robb's next post was within 5 minutes of United 976 landing in Dubai..... There was a Delta plane that arrived into the same terminal 20 minutes prior to the United Flight that Robb and Elissa took That's the Delta plane you see.. It is a Boeing 777 widebody, which happens to match the plane in the picture. So they arrived in Dubai and posted a couple photos from The Greens.. We know this because The Greens shopping center has a Subway, Chili's, BurgerKing and Wagamama.. I'm willing to bet this is the only place in Dubai that has all of these under one roof. Lfdlt2.. You deserve the prize if that is what Robb was referencing when he posted the thong picture.. Awesome catch.
