Get one friend in per day, to any park, for only 9.99?! (till the end of July) Did any one else catch this on the main site? I hadn't received any notification via email... Anyone else think this will help next years season pass sales? or do you think it will hurt the quarterly results? Will this motivate you to visit a new park you haven't been to yet? I may be able to coax a friend into splitting the gas money and finally hitting Magic Mtn. for the first time. DISCUSS!!!

i went for the 75cent ride night this last Tueday, and I am never riding the Dipper in the front again! OUCH! The back is where its at, PAINLESS!

Its not just you. It does *look* boring. From the photos and videos I saw I was not expecting the OMFG ride that it was. The airtime you get on the drop after the launch is just sick. And then you don't have time to catch your breath until the zero G and it takes that SO fast! The video doesn't do it justice but that ride is anything but boring. --Robb Ok, you sold me. Nice lil report there. And I'm with you, I'm also not a Ghost Rider fan. I went on it for the first time last month and it effin HURT! Like down to the core of me, hurt. I don't think I'll be riding it again anytime soon, if at all.

Hey Jahan, with the summer season a-go... IYO, when are the best times to attend MM and get the most coastering out of your trip?

Great TR and photos! I agree with Robb, the wait kills. I'd like to ride the subs again (as a kid I was totally taken by them), but I don't think I can justify waiting that long for it. The condition of Indy makes me weep, I wont even go on it anymore. I cant justify spending time in the queue for a ride where maybe 3 of the major effects barely work....

if you're into just riding the coasters the park has to offer, go an hour and a half to an hour before closing. you'll walk on most the rides, and possibly even get to stay on for multiple rides in a row. my friend and i do this all the time. its like our own ERT!

It's the price of one full admission, so why not? My friend Domm and I go on our lunches, or after work.. at least an hour, to an hour and a half before closing. All the rides by then, are walk ons. I think we managed to ride Top Gun 3 times in a row.

Of course! We've all seen the new restraints...especially since the new trains haven't even been shown off yet...

Not a chance... They would have to move the park to get rid of that... I can't help but be a little concerned about some of these moves because it seems that much of the money made from the sale of the other parks is being used for more expenditures. I guess I am just wondering when they are planning to decrease their debt. gotta spend it to make it

i've never been to MM, but after gaining an addiction to the TPR i do know that after the other less popular parks sold, Six Flags has been dumping that new revenue into MM to fix it up. this included the X chain lift. people have warned me over the past couple of years about the riff raff and poor shape of the park... but if you notice in a lot of the recent Photo TRs, the park has been remodeling, repairing, and repainting. now i cant wait to go! its even managed to win over some hope, from some of this boards MM haters.

so i take it the best way of getting to CP from the airport is to rent a car and drive myself? does anyone know of any reasonable shuttle services that i could take or if there are any offered? my hover board is currently in the repair shop... EDIT: im thinking of going aug 26-29th.
