^ That has reopened I believe. If not, the Rye Canyon Road exit is your alternative. Also, the exit on the Northbound side I believe is still being diverted onto Tourney Road. Fear not, 2 lefts is all it takes to make it onto Magic Mountain Parkway headed straight into the park. There's still a great deal amount of construction going on as the entire exit, including all on & off ramps are rebuilt, and Magic Mountain Parkway itself is widened.

I should throw it out there that even a little rain can cause huge traffic messes on SoCal freeways. Even though this is on a Sunday, and registration is in the early morning, give yourselves extra time to make it to SFMM safely! Also please be sure to take great care in navigating the construction zone at I-5 & Magic Mtn. Pkwy in wet conditions!

I hope Terminator makes it onto the Flash Pass list. I hope they build a dedicated queue for Flash Pass riders so everyone stuck waiting in the queue can watch Flash Pass folks breeze right through. I want people to think, "Why the crap am I waiting here when I could be one of those people? I can give up my $5/day Starbucks habit for a week! I'm going to get me a Flash Pass!"

I'm thinking of giving up my ticket because my work schedule @ SFMM will allow me to attend maybe the Q&A session and that's about it. It just doesn't seem right to hold a ticket into ERT sessions that I know I can't attend, and waste it, when there are other people that would like to be there. Since I don't need admission to enter SFMM, for obvious reasons, can something be arranged so my ticket isn't basically wasted, yet I can still attend the meager part of WCB that my schedule allows me to? Just want to make sure I'm doing right by everybody, and not taking an potential opportunity away from someone else simply because I didn't say something.

My Grandmother lives in Delray Beach, FL and she's now telling me stories about how, when I would visit her & my Granddad when I was at age 10, I would tell her stories about how much nicer the people are there versus how they are here, where I live. It really is a very stark contrast.

Well that's what I get for only reading the picture of the sign for the X2 upgrade. Must have missed those posts a page or so ago about the limitations. Guess those are the 'details' you find out about from the team member when you ask about it. You can basically disregard that whole quote... $10 per reservation seems harsh, but, I guess when it's X2 with its capacity, those are the established parameters. It's still better than no X2 Flash Pass option at all.

I'd say a great way to extend your 4-day Hopper pass is to buy Starlight passes (assuming they're still sold) for the extra days. Stick around the Resort, have lunch/dinner in one of the many eateries, shop around Ikspari, and then go have fun in the parks from 4-5pm through closing. On my last Japan trip, we picked up a Starlight pass for the night we arrived (Sunday night), and a Friday night later that week, and spent Mon-Thurs on a 4-day hopper. It felt just the same as any 6-night stay stay in WDW I've ever taken.

Ditto. I love living here. All of the benefits of living in SoCal with a minimum of the weirdness & rude people.

I finally got to see Termy today in person. Let me tell you, Terminator may have sounded small in the stat sheet, but this ride is LARGE and not short at all. "Dead Man's Curve" stands side by side with Deja Vu's butterfly loop, holding its own quite nicely. It's looking great too, though there's still quite a bit of construction left to do. You folks coming to West Coast Bash will not be disappointed with what you see!

For those interested... SFMM employees are describing the new Flash Pass: Regular as $15 rental fee + $19/person. That means a rental fee does exist, but has been included in the prices displayed. Gold is obviously more than $19. Also, is anyone aware of SFMM's online meal vouchers? They sound like an awesome way to pre-budget food costs for a trip to SFMM. But that site is contradicting the info new employees are provided which is that online meal vouchers can only be redeemed at Wascal's, Waterfront, Cyber Cafe, Collossus Cookery, Suzette's Bakery, or Red Eye's Kitchen (Hurricane Harbor). The site shows vouchers can be bought for Papa John's & Johnny Rockets as well as ColdStone. So...new employees might be confused & surprised by this, but this is even better news for the guests (you guys)! They're very easy to use as well. Just pre-buy online, and bring your printed-out vouchers to be validated at Guest Relations, and then bring them to a place that sells what you bought (i.e. Hamburger meal voucher would be taken to a location that sells hamburgers). No more "OMG Food is expensive!!!" surprises.

I'm going to be an official employee of Six Flags when WCB is here. Does that affect me in any way? Assuming WCB isn't during a time when I'm working (I'll likely be on the graveyard shift), does anyone know if there's anything special that needs to be done? I'd ask SFMM directly, but I'm guessing if people here don't know, they'll at least be able to point me in the direction of someone who works at the park who will know. Maybe Mr. Six knows? -- Peoplemover "Happy to be employed again! " Matt

Thanks for that. I just received a fact sheet to review before I go into for pre-employment "learn all about SFMM" class aka "Discovery" and the old Flash Pass system info/pricing is on there. I know they can't get new fact sheets out overnight, so good to have the new info. In case anyone's curious, I'll be working backstage in Cash Control. I might not even be issued a uniform since 99% of the time I won't be in the park during operating hours, but we'll see.

It was working when I visited in late January...
