Umm, what? I think you meant "Reducing our Military in Iraq." I think the current administration has done a fine job already in reducing our military, with over 4,000 dead, and 30,000 wounded. This is 1,937 days after our president proclaimed "Mission Accomplished."

The Official "Animal Crossing: Wild World" Thread!
mboy81 replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
I know I'm kinda behind the times, but I finally got a DS with Animal Crossing. Code: 2320-1620-1973 Town: Coolton Name: Mike -
I think this pretty much sums up a lot of gay men and women. It's actually quite hard to find a bf/gf when you're not a "typical" gay person. I maybe step foot in a gay bar about once a month, and that's the gayest I get . I wouldn't go so far as to say I wish I weren't gay though, Twister. You're young, give it a few years. You'll be proud of what you are eventually, and you'll find that it isn't really SUPPOSED to be a lifestyle. It's too bad a lot of people have made it that way.

Paramount Parks after Cedar Fair Acquisition
mboy81 replied to Dr.Zaius's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's always been like that with the green boxes. SoB had them when it opened. I believe Vortex has had them now for a while. I don't think it's a CF thing. -
So earlier in the thread, I read someone quote scripture from Leviticus as a proof that homosexuality is forbidden. For those, I include this clip from The West Wing. Just a thought.

What is your local park?
mboy81 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I guess Cincinnati is considered the "east." Ohio's that wierd state that some consider mid-west, and some consider east. I live next-door to PKI. I can watch the nightly fireworks from my porch! -
Coasters & their most MESSED up moments

Any of the rides on top of the Stratosphere Tower classify as COMPLETELY insane. I've never been so scared in my life! -
Jay Cutler, from Santa Claus, IN, is going to the Broncos. ESPN.com had a really good article on his life growing up in southern Indiana. It even mentions Holiday World! Check it out Here

Thanks VsEuro, That site was awesome! I would love to get overseas sometime and ride this thing. I miss CHAOS, and really like this ride. Who knew Vekoma would come out with something so neat and creative? -
Bobbejaanland's "Revolution"...
mboy81 replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, that really brought back memories of Chaos at Opryland. It's such a unique and interesting ride. I forgot how incredibly long the trains were. After watching the second video, I noticed the clock movies on the top. Didn't Chaos have a clock theme at the beginning? Was this the same movie? When I rode it, the theme had changed to the nuclear reactor stuff. -
First All Gay Theme Park
mboy81 replied to SlimCoasterRider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm sure you wouldn't HAVE to be gay to go there, and it's not like you wouldn't understand what the place was all about if you weren't gay. It's kinda along the lines of a Dollywood or Silver Dollar City: celebrating a way of life, with their struggles and triumphs. Think about the hundreds of thousands (probably close to over a million or so) of people that attend pride celebrations around the globe. I would think of it as an extended Pride festival. Hopefully, with rides. -
First All Gay Theme Park
mboy81 replied to SlimCoasterRider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, my friends and I TOTALLY had this idea when we were in Vegas. It would be attached to a gay-themed hotel. I do admit, it is QUITE over-the-top. The "Tower of Pride" cracks me up. -
Did anyone notice the supports on the coaster that didn't touch the track? What's that for?

Aww, memories... My aunt and uncle's wedding rehersal dinner was there. I remember a VERY good meal catered for us, and my sister and I did some haunted house attraction that was actually pretty good, I thought.

Best and Worst Organised Queues
mboy81 replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What about Legend's queue in the station? I think it's the worst. It was VERY tight in there, and very hot. Plus, the back rows block the rest of the rows as you're coming in. On the other hand, I think that Splash Mountain at WDW was a pretty nice queue, at least once you get inside the mountain part. -
NEW UPDATE! Las Vegas and Zion National Park!
mboy81 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
OMG! I got back from Las Vegas last month, and I swear I saw the same lady passing out stripper cards. I remember because I said the same thing to my friends as your caption. I thought it was funny that some of the stripper cards had them washing a car, or cleaning, or cooking. Being of the persuasion of male that isn't really enticed by those cards, I wanted to call and see if those girls would wash my car. The only card I picked up was from this guy who was pretty hot (hehe THAT'S how they would get people to take that kind of stuff!). It was a card advertising for "Bumfights.com," where they take bums off the street and video tape them fighting each other for money! -
2001 - Cedar Point Ride Op - Mantis 2002 - Cedar Point Ride Op - Magnum XL-200 2003 - Cedar Point Ride Op - Top Thrill Dragster Mr. Stratosphere, my friends and I agreed that you have to have the best place to ever work rides. The view from up there is remarkable, and the music was REALLY awesome. Made me feel like being at a gay bar again, haha.

Cleveland / Geauga Lake - 5/28 and 5/29
mboy81 replied to Reality15's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Hey, nice pictures! Makes me excited to go there next week! -
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the pride night for PKI is on a Friday night in October. It's actually a great night to go. Since it's a "private" event, the lines are pretty much non-existent, and they play dance music over the PA. When I went one year, the crowds were very well-behaved (MUCH better behaved than the normal PKI crowd). I don't think the day the park is closed in June is gay day, unless I never got the memo. I do admit that the circuit-party atmosphere at WDW has gotten way out-of-hand, the other gay day events at other parks are actually quite normal days. In fact, I would go as far as to say that Father's Day at CP is one of the best days to go to the park for gays AND straights.
