that makes sense. SFMM is my home park and the only ride on that list which is new for me is Tatsu (obviously) but thats going to change on media day . Thanks for the courtesy! I wouldn't want to take away any guest spots from people you know in person instead of over the internet. Not that I'm one of THOSE guys, but its still much appreciated. How much is membership BTW? Maybe I should consider it. Seeing as this will be your first trip to the mountain I'm sure you're going to have an absolute blast. I was wondering about this as well. Perhaps if we all contact SFMM public relations they may be accommodating. Also, I wonder if the Tatsu Flight pass I have will work on that first day... Perhaps I'll show up on thursday night and be at least within the first couple hundred to experience the beast. Too bad for a M-F schedule. At least I have thurs afternoons off. I'm still going to try to get out of work and hit the campout if I can. The email said we'll definately get to ride by 10 AM?

Stitches escape isn't bad if you enjoy the smell of chili dogs (if you've experienced that POS of an attraction you'll know what I mean)

that sucks man.... lookin at the map, if you really wanted to rough it you could have gone on pine cyn rd. to lake hughes road to bypass the closure. Although that would have been a good 4 hour drive just to do that detour and probably a snowy drive anyway. Although if you were up that early could have made it.... Look at the bright side, at least you didn't drive through the boonies for 4 hours to show up to a cancelled construction tour.
