This update will be the official Double Ducky update, confirming how many duckies were in the last Find the Ducky Game, and also confirming all the duckies that have been found at the parks so far! Then, Big Mike will premiere even more hiding places at parks around the USA!!! This park had closed for about 5 years and just re-opened last season, and it was an amazing stop on this years World tour! The park has a ton of charm, some unique rides, a coaster credit, and an overall fantastic vibe to it! This is also the 2nd round of FIND THE DOUBLE DUCKY!!!!!! Now that the Miss USA contest concluded last night, Big Mike is all set to post the drafting board for everyone who won in round #1, so stay tuned!! Everyone else, enter the FIND THE DOUBLE DUCKY contest this round, just count how many rubber duckies you find in this update and you could win some super fantastic prizes!!! I hope you enjoy this update from AZoosment Park at Santa's Village as much as we all had being there, I hope the fun shows through on this update! Once you get Big Mike, I am not sure what else there is to wish for from Santa Claus??? The park re-opened with a paintball place running the other half of the park. Park map. After meeting a princess, then Santa Claus, we got to meet Kurtis (G$ Kurt)! Kurtis was awesome and seemed to be everywhere at the park! Time to hit the Dragon Coaster before the extreme heat arrived! A nice touch to the park is the clever sayings on the height restriction signs! The Dragon! Theming. Overview. Our group is ready to ride! Coaster credit #1133 for The Mighty Big Man! One of the best rides Big Mike has ridden so far, The Fire Truck Ride! This is a real fire truck! The fire truck pulls these seats with fire hose squirters! Everyone gets their own hose. Oh Chad! This little house goes on fire and it is everyone's job to put out the fire with the water from the hose. To get a better view of the water action, watch the video on this update! Here are the other rides at the park, starting with Sea Dragon: Carousel. Roto Whip! Awww, Megan just missed Star Jets. Tilt-A-Whirl. Jed's Country Cruisers. Cars. Course. Megan drives!!! JoJo and Chad! Ferris Wheel. Little people only. Convoy. Midge-O-Racers. The park IS called AZoosment Park, so of course there are animals here, so here are some of them: We can play with turtles! The turtle was a little too tame for Big Mike, so he went looking for something with a little danger to it. A tarantula!!! Look at the girl with that amazed daze for The Big Man, he is totally fearless AND great looking! Big Mike gives Megan a lot of credit, she held the tarantula even though she wasn't too excited about it! Tortoise Island. Deer feeding! They sure do seem to like Coke and Mountain Dew! There was a puppy nearby, which was the best part of the zoo A petting zoo! Parakeet Paradise Aviary. Parakeets! Big Mike always loves feeding any types of animals. Megan does too! There are even some attractions that mix animals and rides! Pony ride! Reindeer Ridge! It is a sleigh ride! The ride does a circle lap around a deer habitat. There they are!! There was even a cool slide for the kids! FOR THE KIDS MEGAN!!! There are some games at the park too, like Angry Birds! Jo had a fun time playing! They also have a ducky game, but no pink duckies to pick up. Extreme heat solutions, portable misters! Who wouldn't want to have their own Mike??? Cheap too! The park has a magic show also. The park just got a new ice pole, but it was not working just yet so Big Mike's tongue did not stick to it. Santa's house! Talking about Santa, he was probably the best part of the whole park experience. Phillip Wenz has played Santa Claus for almost 30 years! Even during the time frame that Santa's Village closed down, he played Santa at Holiday World! Santa is also the historian of the park and being Santa is the only job he has ever had! Santa filled us in on lots of interesting facts about the whole park, and had all 4 of us loving every conversation we had with him. AZoosment Park at Santa's Village in East Dundee Illinois, an absolute must stop if you are ever in the area! Make sure to talk to Santa!!! Thanks to Kurtis for showing us a great time! Kurtis is the official hiding spot for this ducky, all you need to do is hunt Kurtis down and ask him for the ducky!! Thanks also to Chad and Jo Jo for coming out and meeting up with The Big Man! It's cold and rainy outside, but Big Mike is warm and toasty inside. There is the airport that Big Mike touched down a few hours ago, and will be taking off from in another few hours! Now that the big rides are done, it is time to check out the really big food court! It's not often that there is a full service bar at an amusement park either! The amusement park also had 2 shows that you could take in! This one was called Cirque Shanghai, which is cool because that is where Big Mike will be in September! This was the first time EVER that Big Mike saw 4 riders at once inside the Globe of Death! The other show was called the Big Cat Encounter. Some of the stars. Since Big Mike has some pull and some extra charm, Keith got right on too! There was also a petting zoo at the park. The one thing that Big Mike found perplexing is that every fun house was a $1 upcharge after paying admission to get into the park. Just like a normal amusement park, this one also had mini golf! Talking about kids, they had a whole room just for the little kiddies too, but Big Mike will not cover that part of the park, but he will show you every adult ride at I/X Indoor Amusement Park: Thanks to Keith for being the first person in 2012 to come out and say hello to Big Mike while on tour, and Keith was given a Big Mike Prize Pack! Even though all of the Big Mike goodies had not arrived yet, Keith got a slimmed down version, BUT, all the goodies are in NOW so if you see Big Mike out on tour this year, ask for a goodie bag!!! The I/X Indoor Amusement Park was a blast! The park had everything a real amusement park would have, and it was a great way to start the season while every park up here in the North is still closed!
