DAY #9 (SATURDAY) HEIDE PARK Hey there all my good friends out there!! Big Mike coming at you live from Germany! The rain Gods were not nice to us today, but that did not stop us from having a great time and collecting all the coaster credits! Please forgive some of the pictures as the rain, mist, and fog did havoc on my picture quality Also, I understand my comic levels have been below par lately due to rushing these reports to keep up. I will regain my comedy when the trip is over! Right now I just want to show everyone the parks we are visiting, the fun we are having on this trip, and lots of pictures of friends, family, and loved ones! I hope you enjoy! Germany plays Spain in soccer in the Championship game this week, and we just happen to be at Phantasialand that night and they are opening the park up for us to watch the game on a huge screen! DAY #6 WEDNESDAY TOVERLAND! Hi Friends!! Another very long day has just completed with Efteling and Drievliet, and a side stop to the Red Light District in Amsterdam! But since I am behind, this report is about Toverland Yesterday I again only have an hour so it will be a Toverland report and another page of photos of friends, loved ones, or family! DAY #6 WEDNESDAY Hey Friends!!!! What a fantastic day today! I only have an hour of internet and it is already past 1am, so this will be short and sweet. Let me just say that we had free breakfast, lunch, and dinner today, visited 2 parks, and had morning and evening ERT totally over 5 hours. Life is good when you go on a TPR tour Hope you enjoy!! DAY #5 (TUESDAY) Hey Friends!!! Today was a great day! Walibi Belgium was fun, the weather was nice, and I got to meet James (Team Thriller) and my Official Coaster Riding Buddy, Beeja!!!!!!! There was a lot of people that did a ropes course during the afternoon, but I hung with my riding buddy, so there may be a lopsided amount of Beeja and a little less of other people today Hope you understand and I will be back to lots of pictures of others tomorrow! DAY #4 (MONDAY) Hi Friends!!! Today was a nice day at Parc Asterix. The weather was nice and the park was great. For everyone reading that knows someone on the trip, everyone has made it safely and there has been no luggage problems!! DAY #1 (FRIDAY) Hi Friends!!! Or should I say Bon Jour!!! I am learning my French This is the first day of The Big Mike Road Show 2008 in Paris. I hope you enjoy!!! A trip to the Moulin Rouge and the red light district! .... because I had my first Magnum bar of the trip! Happy I hauled my ass all the way up here because.... Great views of the city from up here! Statues! Sacre something lol. The courtyard at the Louvre was cool. The Louvre! It was worth the visit just to watch the traffic at this circle, crazy! The eternal flame! Big Mike amazed at the designs! Arc de Triomphe! .... I decided I needed a bigger challenge! That was so easy that after I read this sign about a tight rope walker..... Mission accomplished Big Mike eyes up the hot babes! Yeah Baby!!!! Big Mike has made it! Look at that sweaty dome! Big Mike R.I.P at 600 steps. Trouble! Big Mike at 500 steps may need emergency help! I want to answer a few questions before I post the Year in Review a little later Carolina - I think I will hit about 20 parks on this trip, so I should come back at 59 for the year. Hey there great friends and loyal Big Mike Readers!! The Big Mike Road Show 2008 and the whole crew that goes into bringing you all these reports week after week would like to apologize to you!! We took a week off The Big Mike Road Show caravan has been on the road non stop since March 15th hitting up 39 parks and traveling over 11,000 miles so far!! Last week we had the huge Coastermania party for Big Mike's 600th coaster and this upcoming week will kick off the TPR/Big Mike Road Show Mainland Europe Trip!!! Just like in NFL football, you come off a big game and are looking forward to another big game, but in between, you have a klunker team. This is how it would have been if we traveled anywhere, it just would have been overlooked. So instead, Big Mike Productions has been in overdrive cranking out the trip reports that we were behind on! Hi my really good friends of TPR! The Big Mike Road Show 2008 stopped at two more parks on the way back from Cedar Point, and here they are. Whenever I am near Lakemont Park, I like to stop in and ride Leap The Dips! I remember vacationing in Alabama in 1999 and seeing a headling scrolling on the bottom of the tv screen that Leap the Dips was going to open back up after being closed for 12 years!! I went that year and that started me on my coaster collecting! I hope you enjoy! Peace, Big Mike ..... The park started shutting the lights out on us lol. The Crazy Mouse if you can see it! I had to take one for the team as I did not want to let all of you down! I remember jamming Big Mike into this was not fun! I walked away and thought to myself... For the Big Mike Readers!! I already had this credit and wanted to get a picture of the lift for The Big Mike Readers. Toboggan! Once a year they let adults ride, the day after PPP at Knoebels. I already had this credit!! You have to be under 12 to ride. The Little Leaper. Big Mike says Leap the Dips is cool! I am ok everybody. I almost fell out! Ah, here comes the drop! I'd feel safer with a seatbelt!! Phew, no drop at the top of the lift. Now I feel better. Pretty high to not have any seatbelts! Big Mike excited to ride Leap the Dips again. The lift.
