Hey Friends!!!! Here is a quick update for THIS weekends events and then we will announce ANOTHER stop JUST ADDED on The Big Mike Road Show 2008! Tomorrow (Friday), The Big Mike Road Show 2008 travels to Maryland for a 12:30pm stop at Baja Amusements! Following that, there will be stops at Trimpers, and both Jolly Roger's parks later in the afternoon! Saturday, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 travels back to the great state of New Jersey for a 10:30am visit to Clementon, with the afternoon spent at Moreys Pier! Come out and join Jason (Printersdevil78) and Big Mike in Maryland!!! OR Come out and join Bobbi Jo (bobafett) and Big Mike in New Jersey!!! OR Come to both!!!! Having just finished a huge trip to Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota last week, and going to Maryland and New Jersey this week, you would figure Big Mike would want to stay home and rest, right?? Wrong! Not on Labor Day Weekend!!! Labor Day Weekend is time to hit up the parks up and near Boston!!! Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, and New Hampshire!!! I am calling on Mr. Moose and everyone up that way to be ready to come out and play!!! The following week, Saturday Sept 6th, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 rolls into South Carolina for a visit to Hard Rock Park! Make your plans now to visit!! The following week was a scheduled off week finally, but with the season winding down, Big Mike figured he had the whole winter to rest and relax... So... The Big Mike Road Show 2008 has heard the demands from his good friends in Michigan and confirmed the dates of Friday and Saturday, Sept 12th and 13th for a Big Mike Road Show 2008 visit!!! Jeepers Southfield, Kokomos, or Michigan Adventure will be possible stops. The following week, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 plays host to The Coaster Palooza tour as Rick will be welcomed as the first official guest of The Big Mike Hotel!! Friday and Saturday, Sept 19th and 20th with tentative stops at Coney Island and Great Adventure and the Yankees farewell games. If the Yankees games fall through Rick, I am sure we can be found at Coasters After Dark at Great Adventure from 5 - 10pm Friday night Sept 19th! The following weekend of Sept 26th and 27th is still free at the moment, but there are still a few parks The Big Mike Road Show 2008 has to hit before they close, and this weekend will probably be it! By now, after all these weeks and months of excitement, Having done the whole East Coast, having done the Heart of America, having done the Southeast, having gone North to Canada, having gone South to Mexico, having crossed the pond to Mainland Europe, this only leaves one spot left to go... Hello Friends!!!! As promised, another day, another trip report! Big Mike's word is gold The second park I stopped at on my trip was Miner Mike's Adventure Town! This was a small place with one kid coaster, but was a lot of fun and had a great atmosphere! One of the main reasons I started this thread as I stated on page #1 other than (meeting great people, self promoting Big Mike to the max, meeting hot babes, jacking up the coaster count, creating a personal vacation photo book, claiming the #1 thread of 2008, and having the chance to show off my snazzy gold shirt) was to help Robb and his TPR website anyway I could!!! Believe me, you will not find one person who is more dedicated and devoted to helping Robb and making Theme Park Review a huge success than Big Mike!!!! I am sure if a spot opened up for a public relations job at Theme Park Review, Big Mike would get it! I am sure that if an agenda came out that was going to bring everyone together as one big happy TPR family, Big Mike would be nominated as Master of Ceremonies! I am also pretty sure that if they ever decide to bring along an official TPR trip photo trip report updater as the trip is going on, Big Mike and his Friends, Family, and Loved Ones section would be 1st pick! That said, I looked at my Heart of America Trip and noticed that HALF the stops did not even have ONE trip report done on them in the NEW Theme Park Review Index??? 9 of the 18 parks have never been seen by the TPR readers on this website! I thought, what better way to help Robb out than by making sure I hit all these parks, even if they were closed, just so I can make a difference OK, thats enough about my strong feelings and dedication to Theme Park Review except to go out and get some TPR shirts and wear them to the parks! Big Mike's head swivels back and forth like a radar looking for TPR shirts on The Big Mike Road Show 2008!!! Here is Miner Mike's Adventure Town in Osage Beach Missouri everybody! Peace, Big Mike I know there are a few people out there thinking Big Mike is sinking pretty low to ride these kid coasters, but just know, I don't sink as low as these guys that are riding the kiddie bumper cars sitting on the top of the seat!!! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike ... and you would have to grab it and yank on it! FUN! The object of the game is the udder would light up... ... Milk Bessie's Udders!!! Everytime you whacked one, the head would pop up. This game came in 2nd place to.... Introducing Wack-a-doodle-doo! Looks a little like whack a mole, but more regionally appealing. A cool roller coaster video game where you had to try and stop at the top of the loop. I did not play as I wanted to save my two tokens for some LOCAL type games! A nicely themed ferris wheel. Some more attractions. Credit #679 for Big Mike! The girl in front of me turned around and reminded me that ALL these pictures are EXCLUSIVES!! True. EXCLUSIVE "in the tunnel" picture! No sense coming all this way if I didn't give it a whirl! This was the best part of the ride as it goes from hypersonic to a dead stop in a fraction of a second! (These last two photos are a dramatization for added effect.) After a few laps, they crank the speed up to hypersonic! Here is a picture of the layout, minus the tunnel. The train comes out of the tunnel and does a few more laps. The next highlight is this tunnel! It leaves the station and looks like it is going right through the window, but makes a quick turn just in time! The train starts here, in the train station. Sure enough, there was a train on it! Runaway Mine Train! The prices! The coaster cost 4 tokens, so I paid $2 and had two tokens left over for games! Miner Mike's Adventure Town!

Funland Amusement Park in Arkansas. 8. Kiddie Park in Oklahoma. 9. All Star Adventures in Kansas. 10. Zonkers in Kansas. 11. Skate Daze in Nebraska. 12. Fun Plex in Nebraska. 13. Arnolds Park in Iowa. 14. ValleyFair in Minnesota. 15. Nickelodeon Park in Minnesota. 16. Como Park in Minnesota. 17. Adventureland in Iowa. 18. Worlds of Fun in Missouri. If anyone has some free time and would like to map that out for Big Mike, that would be awesome! The envelopes from now on will be taped in place as this one just has a rock on top of it. The envelope can contain $1, $5, $10, $20, or a mystery prize. Go find this one! Thus, The Mikestery Treasure Hunt is born! Every once in a while, Big Mike will hide a mystery envelope somewhere at an amusement park and it is your job to find it! This prize is hidden on the letter "C" in Mall of America. Big Mike was a little bored at the Mall of America and thinking to himself that The Big Mike Readers deserved ANOTHER contest along with the Find The Ducky Game! ... Big Mike! Waiting for the modeling jobs to come in now. I figured the Big Mike Readers would be more interested in the Haunt girls anyway! I was going to ask them to model my new Prowler shirt but then thought of a much better model... Being the cool and stand up guy that Big Mike is, I could have had the world premiere scoop on the new logo at Worlds of Fun too, but decided to wait and let someone else have the front page spot on TPR and the glory. Thats OK with Big Mike. Hard to believe, but as soon as I turned around, this sign popped up out of nowhere looking to sell the bridge! I guess a soon to be falling bridge is best to unload ASAP. I quickly jumped to save the day and hold up the bridge before it fell. As I was admiring its beauty, I heard some cracking sounds! Just in case the Big Mike Readers never make it to Arkansas, here is the natural bridge for you to see. This place was cool because it had all of these totally round rocks laying all over the place. At least it did not take me through Minnesota again. Big Mike is not all about coasters, he is a nature lover too. Just in case you were wondering what kind of Hot Rod I rented for this trip. I need to find a town named Big Mike. Every once in a while I would find something amusing like a town named after my good buddy IggyAce. Thank goodness I had Hot For Big Mike memories to get me through some of these lonesome stretches of highway. Talking about gas stations, I liked this one. If it was only that easy... oh wait.. Miss XXX! Filler up! Look at all these gas storage tanks for Conoco/Phillips 66. There were zillions of these at this place. I know one of you Big Mike Readers have tried a pickle ice sometime during your life. Right in their front yards too. Some odd signs too. More odd things I saw on the highway. I think a slight breeze might knock this over. The plane winds up landing in the grass right along side the highway. ... if you look very closely to the right of the car ahead of me, there is a plane coming down looking like it is going to land right on the highway in front of me! This picture was odd because I took it thinking it looked nice, and the very next day... Here are some pictures in Branson. Well except for Miss XXX (real name hidden) who has followed The Big Mike Road Show from day #1 and is the only person to use The Big Mike Hotline number. She says if she makes a screen name, it is going to be "Hot For Big Mike". I forgive you for messing up the action bed before I took a picture of it Next time lets hit a park together too! It's a shame no TPR members took me up on the free place to stay like I offered. A few sinks. The action bed. The fridge was filled with lots of beers for any TPR guests. It was a nice place to stay, just a few stars down from Big Mike's World Headquarters. and pool? and hot tub? Did I mention the coaster view from my parking lot? Just in case anyone wanted to see where Big Mike stayed. You just had to make sure you did not drive through the smoke, this isn't Nascar ya know. Nobody probably saw the signs anyway as you were allowed to drive at 75mph. ... followed 10 seconds later by The Pleasure Zone. Saw a lot of signs on the road like this Pornography Destroys.... ... and Minnesota. Since both times I went into Nebraska and the signs were both over bridges, I know people want to see Big Mike in the picture too. ... Nebraska ... ... Iowa ... ... Oklahoma ... ... Arkansas ... ... Kansas ... The Big Mike Road Show followed this path: Missouri... Home to the Kansas City Chiefs and Arrowhead Stadium. The trip started when The Big Mike Road Show 2008 flew into Kansas City!

After driving through Minnesota for quite a long time, I came to a fork in the road. A right turn would have taken me down to Adventureland in Iowa along with the Iowa state fair. A left turn would have taken me to Valleyfair in Minnesota. I figure the GPS MUST have taken me this way for a reason, right?? Hey Friends!! Big Mike coming at you LIVE from actually ON THE ROAD !! I have picked up the bad habit of browsing the web on my Blackberry while driving. I have good news and bad news and need to vent, The bad news first. No update again tonight as my GPS has decided once again to screw me over royally! I don't think going from Arnolds Park in IOwA to Adventureland in IOwA is supposed to go through MINNESOTA!!!!!!!!! But here I.am driving through Minn like an ass. I can't wait to get home and look at a map of this! Well there was good news too my friends! Big Mike just rode his 700th coaster, which wound up to be The Legend Coaster at Arnolds Park! Any cheerful comments or congrats will gladly be accepted as I still have 174 miles to go and am just going to stay in my thread until I get there. It makes the drive a lot more enjoyable!! Today was a looooong day waking up in Branson Mo, and then going to a park in Oklahoma, a park in Kansas, and then picking up the park that I missed last week when my plane came in late. Now I am at the boder of Nebraska as we speak! Here is the new and updated schedule, and I don't see it changing at all. I will be attending COASTER MAYHEM at WORLDS OF FUN this Saturday to celebrate not only the special coaster day, but also the end of the Big Mike Road Show 2008 6-state 14-park Heart of America Tour!!! Not only that, but also having a huge celebration for Big Mike riding his 700th coaster the day before at either Arnolds Park or Adventureland in Iowa!! If anyone wants to celebrate this coaster holiday with The Big Mike Road Show 2008 at Coaster Mayhem, I can get you in as my guests for a cheaper price than a normal ticket(?) which includes morning ERT, evening ERT, buffet lunch, photo walkback, and prizes! Hey Friends!!!!! Getting ready to go to Six Flags St. Louis and ride EVEL KNIEVEL!!! One hour to go!! Yesterday, the skies were not friendly to Big Mike! First, the stretch limo did not show up to pick up the Big Man. Second, there was a 3 hour "weather delay" in the bright sunshine. Third, the delay caused Big Mike to miss the first scheduled park, Zonkers, which will now be added on to the Worlds of Fun day Probably. Come on out to a park this week if you can and hang out I am a magnet to the TPR shirts, so I will find you or you can find the big goof in the bright yellow shirt!
