Hey Friends!!! The Big Mike Road Show 2008 has started its NYC Broadway shows edition of the tour now that the amusement park portion has been completed! Today, Big Mike is coming to you LIVE from his seat to the matinee performance of Gypsy with Patti Lupone!! Later tonight I will catch an off Broadway show called Break Out. The Big Mike Road Show Corporarion bought one too many tickets for tonight, so if anyone is in the NYC area and wants a freebie, call The Big Mike Hotline or post here! Big Mike saw over 40 performances last year and always checks the Playbill to make sure we have seen over half of the shows currently out. With the long coaster break, the current stats are 17 seen, 16 to go, just made it!! If anyone visits NYC for Christmas or a show, let the Big Man know!!! Its curtain time, I am outta here! AP News Wire- In an unprecidented move, NBC and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno bowed down to the high demand of rebroadcasting The Big Mike Road Show 2008's special guest appearance!!! Not only did Big Mike perform on Wed Oct 8th, but due to overwhelming public outcry and the huge amount of female fan mail, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 on Jay Leno was rebroadcasted the other night, Tue Oct 21st!! That is twice in less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!! Though unconfirmed, sources say that this has never been done before in the whole history of The Tonight Show in such a short period of time! Big Mike would like to thank all of his fans for writing in and demanding an encore performance! Also of note, NBC just got the Nielson ratings back and the ratings were through the roof for Big Mike's segment!! End of Story

Believe it or not, I really do not usually go to parks unless I need a credit at them, excluding going to Great Adventure to ride El Toro a bunch! CoasterMania was soooo fun, that is a great possibility. Kings Island almost has to be a given as that is or may be the only Cedar Fair park I did not hit this year and I have a handful of unattained credits there So far, the responses are looking good! Awesome! Hey, I saw that you were on the Tonight Show but I missed it when it was first on. The episode was played again last night for us and Mom and I were SO EXCITED too see you on the show! The Big Mike Road Show 2008 was a fantastic year, in which I met a huge amount of new friends and visited some awesome places, but the best part of it all was bringing all the fun and pictures to The Valuable Big Mike Readers and the positive responses I got from them!!! I guess the decision to renew another season of The Big Mike Road Show in 2009 will depend on if everyone here on Theme Park Review is sick of seeing it or can't wait to see more??? Hello Friends!!!!! This is the California Preview Trip Report, where you can see all the things Big Mike did other than amusement parks while in California!! Things upcoming are behind the scenes at Jay Leno, Big Mike getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the awesome Big Mike Banquet for making The Big Mike Road Show 2008 a Top 20 thread in both catagories!! First though, it was an awesome weekend in New England to possibly close out The Big Mike Road Show 2008 for the year!!!! There was a big turnout and I am thankful to everyone who came out to say hello and share in the fun times!! My thanks to: Super Cool Hot Fuzz Rich for setting everything up, letting me sleep at his place, making me laugh with the blue condom hat, and for being there for the 1st meet up on the tour this year in March and also the last meet up on the tour in October! Thanks buddy! Steve C for making the journey across the pond for the special day and being as joyful and merriful as you always are, which always makes for a great occasion and lots of fun! James Canobie Fan for showing me around his home park and hanging out again after a long two years! That is was too long, but we got along like it was only yesterday! Young Jeff JNETrains for again sharing lots of fun rides, faces, interesting talks on coasters, and for opening my eyes that people may think I am full of myself with a big ego when in reality I just like to put on a good show and am actually a nice guy. Dave for making his debut on The Road Show and being a real cool guy and a lot of fun to hang out with. Finally, the ever so beautiful Christiana, who managed to hang with 6 guys and blend right in like she was one of them. I enjoyed how you managed to actually spend about an equal amount of time with everybody, talking with one and then another. That impressed me a lot. I have wanted to meet you since I missed you at Great Adventure and you did not disappoint one bit. A girl that loves coasters, video games, and traveling, while being super nice and super hot is a rare find indeed! Looks like my final riding partner of the year will be maybe the most memorable of the trip also. I just can't believe I was stepping in the wrong position and covering some of it up I fulfill my two special guests request to honor their grand leader. I had another request to visit another star by two special guests, but on the way to the special star I found these. Fate put Larry and Fat right next to each other LOL. There it is! Sometimes you have to suck up to get on his show. Strolling back to my ceremony, Jay Leno calls me to confirm I am showing for his show and requests I take a picture of his star before I arrive. I tell him I will be there soon and ok. Excuse me everybody, please stop your honking until I get a good picture with me in it. The Hollywood Sign. Capitol Records! One big stars hand into another. I stopped by Grumans Chinese Theater. Once I was done and watched them write "Big Mike" into the cement, they wrapped it to dry for an hour and I was off to sightsee. This will say Big Mike in a matter of minutes. I arrive early and they are still creating my star on the Walk of Fame. I am glad it is taped off so no one can mess with it. The Big Mike Road Show arrives in Hollywood, where the two go together like peanut butter and jelly. I made it across and watched the ferryman of death leave without taking me. Time to head back and think of an acceptance speech for my star as I walk. I made it to the other side with ease. During my walk, my agent called and confirmed that I would be in Hollywood for my Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony later. I told him I would! Even though I missed the Hard Rock Park on my tour this year, it was not bad enough to make me jump. Plus, I was looking forward to seeing Christiana next weekend! Just so happens they have a crisis hotline phone in this very spot. The midway point! This is the exact spot where the most suicides happen on the whole Earth. The rarely seen Golden Gate Bridge sign. Reached the first tower! After looking down, I got a little woozy and had to hold on to this cable. Everyone told me not to look down, but I needed to get this shot for The Valuable Big Mike Readers. Walking across, you get a great view of Alcatraz! And away I go! My Mission: To walk across it all the way to the other side and back! The Golden Gate Bridge! I traveled through San Francisco on my way to something I have always wanted to visit. Now that I play fantasy football, my favorite team is my own team. Candlestick Park, home to my childhood favorite 49ers! The Hot Rod for this trip. My TPR luggage tags go with me on every trip. One of these days, I will have someone to kiss, I hope! Always a problem, what shirt should I wear?? Big Mike reading his favorite book before leaving to catch a flight to California!
