Interesting idea! Thinking ahead, I have already signed quite a few duckies to 2009 contracts already, so the duck fader may have to wait until 2010! My good friend Jon (Moose) was awesome enough to send me a WHOLE BOX of brand new duckies to debut in 2009 Our 2 duckies that did all the work in 2008 have retired and they will have a special mission to be announced later in the year! Working on Six Flags Magic Mountain tonight (too many coasters to report on), so hopefully I will get that up tonight along with the Find the Ducky answers and Champion! Peace, Big Mike

Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers!!! This is a magical trip report!! Sure it is Disneyland, and Disney is always magical. Sure it is the Final round of the Find the Ducky Championships. Those are 2 great elements right there, but what makes this trip report so magical is that this is stop #100 on The Big Mike Road Show 2008!!!! Visiting 100 parks was the goal starting the year, and amidst the doubting posts at the start of the thread, Big Mike came through and reached his goal Thus, it is only logical that The Big Mike Road Show comes up with a very special guest star to be an honorary guest checker off-er of The Official Big Mike Road Show 2008 T-Shirt's 100th park visit!!! I can't wait to show you who we got to do it!!!! First though, we have finally come to the deciding moment! The Find the Ducky Championship rides on this report! Traincrossin and Team Thriller for the title! Once this report posts, both of you PM me your guess on how many duckies are in both reports (California Adventure and Disneyland) and which pictures you found them in. You both have 2 days to send me your answer. This is not a race to be first, it is a race to be correct. If both of you guess the correct answers, we have a FINAL round on trip report #105 for all the marbles. Same thing happens if you both send incorrect answers. Good luck guys! Now it is time for Big Mike to present Disneyland, stop #100 on The Big Mike Road Show 2008 and also a very special guest to help in the celebration! Peace, Big Mike Mickey Mouse checks off a specially added box, 100 parks! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike The exciting day wound down to a close and I would have loved to bring you some parade pictures, but I had to go meet the very special guest to check off that Big Mike succeeded in his 2008 goal to hit 100 parks. Even around the whole park, there was a lot of pumpkin art. Everywhere you looked were pumpkins. Oogie. The Haunted Mansion was themed for the holidays. The Haunted Mansion. Now that the coasters are completed, here are some other rides I enjoyed, like Splash Mountain. The only coaster here that is totally outdoors. The lift. Gadget's Go Coaster! Here are some various shots: Outside action. Inside action. This also takes place inside a mountain, and here it is. The train. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! Some rare inside shots for the Valuable Big Mike Readers. The trains. Also an indoor coaster, housed in this familiar building. Space Mountain! Not sure which side it was, but it is definately credit #747 for Big Mike! Wetness. You can see here how the ride ends, with a splashdown into the water. I can only dream that they would race both sides. ... and very fun and exciting to pop outside this high up. Of course, it is dark and scary inside... The Matterhorn Bobsleds takes place inside and outside this mountain. ... and then the left side! Big Mike has now collected both sides for sure Having ridden this ride on my last visit to Disneyland before I got all caught up in my hobby of coaster collecting, I could not remember which side I rode. So, always being fair and accurate... I rode the right side... The car. As you can see here, there are 2 tracks, a left and a right. This counts as 2 credits according to the coaster superiors. The Matterhorn Bobsleds! I already have ridden the Matterhorn but still need the credit. How so you ask? I always enjoy being in the presense of the castle. The prices. Disneyland!

Matt has a bLast weekend of 09!
Big Mike replied to Speeddeamon128's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, that sounds like a very fun schedule!! Good luck with it! Hopefully we will meet up along the way since we both live in the great state of NJ, except on opposite ends. Lol Peace, Big Mike -
Hello Fantastic Friends!!! Today, The Big Mike Road Show 2008 brings to you the 99th park we visited last year, Disney's California Adventure!!! After a long grueling season, The Big Mike Road Show also brings to you... ... THE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND OF FIND THE DUCKY!!! We have reached the final two competitors for the right to earn the title "Big Mike Reader of the Year 2008"!!! This is the Championship Round, and of course, it will be the hardest game to date! Due to the Quarter Final Round also being so difficult and eliminating everyone but these two competitors, we have an EXTRA Find the Ducky game in the Big Mike Vault since we never did have a Semi Final Round. So, that being said, here are the rules to become the Champion and win the free 2009 season pass: This Find the Ducky Championship Round will be divided into two parts, this California Adventure report and the following Disneyland report. Do not answer until the Disneyland report is posted! When the Disneyland report posts, post your answer with the cumilative total of BOTH trip reports!! You get ONE guess and the first person to guess the correct number will ALMOST be the Champion! When someone guesses the correct number, I will then ask them to tell me where all the duckies are so the Championship is not decided by a lucky guess. If that player CAN point out all the duckies, that player will be declared the CHAMPION! If that player CANNOT point out all the duckies, then this game will be declared null and void and the "true" Final round will be taken out of the Big Mike Vault and played on the last trip report of the year, Six Flags New England - stop 105! And now, the moment everyone has been waiting for!!!!!! (Big Mike steps up to the Microphone) "Good Evening Valuable Big Mike Readers!!! It is now time to announce the competitors for The Big Mike Road Show Reader of the Year Find the Ducky Championships!!! Up first, this competitor hails from Wisconsin.... ..... his first name is Patrick and he goes by the screen name of..... TRAINCROSSIN!!!!! Up second, this competitor hails from Germany by way of California... ....his first name is James and he goes by the screen name of..... TEAM THRILLER!!!!!! Good luck to the both of you Everyone else, please enjoy my trip report of California's Adventure and of course, don't give the ducky answers away!!! Peace, Big Mike That's all from California Adventure except for my favorite picture of the day. Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike Here is Big Mike on the Tower of Terror updating all his Valuable Big Mike Readers! And of course, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! Maliboomer drop tower. King Triton's Carousel. It's Tough to be a Bug. Soarin over California. Orange Stinger, a swing ride. Other rides at the park include this ferris wheel with swinging cars just like the Wonder Wheel at Coney Island. Of course the tortilla did not cut it, so I had to find some more food also. Free samples too! Located in the park, the Mission Tortilla Factory with a free tour. On my way to find free food, I took in the nice scenery. Credit #746 for Big Mike! Exclusive 2nd lift hill shot. Whee!!! The launch pad. The train. Ah, thats better! The good ole single rider line that puts me first in line! By now the crowd has arrived and Big Mike is not the type that usually sits in a long line, thus usually opting for the VIP lane. Lets see what we can do. It also has a loop. It launches into this semi-tunnel. Here it is launching. It is a launch coaster. Overview. California Screamin! Big Mike just wants to go on record saying this was a way cool ride! Big Mike loves shooters and is known by everyone on TPR as the TPR Shooter Champion, except for one fluke game vs. Dave (The Bat). On my way over to the other coaster, I luckily ran into Dane (gotdane) from TPR and he told me about the new Toy Story Mania and it will get way crowded later! Thanks Dane and awesome to meet you! The coaster is sponsered by Alamo, and the car rental return was a cool ending. Credit #745 for Big Mike! The lift. The cars. Overview. Mulholland Madness! I do always love when I get the whole park to myself! Just like the California Adventure sign outside, there seems to be a lot of candy corns inside as well. The prices. Disney's California Adventure, stop #99 on The Big Mike Road Show 2008!

Great choice! I was going to go look for that one too the night I posted them, but was too lazy lol. I will work hard to get the exclusive rights to coaster #400! Peace, Big Mike
-
Hey Divv! Of course we can't let your 300th coaster go by without some sort of picture memorial! You still have to pick a picture for me to frame since I was your personal photographer that day! Peace, Big Mike Figured I would add one of Steve too

The way the "overall" standings work, you have to take into account BOTH views and replies, so they must be lacking in one of them The Big Mike Road Show is not in the Top 10 of either catagory yet, but combined it comes out in 3rd place. Peace, Big Mike PS - I did want to mention that Joey (Jew) did give me 2 front of the line passes and I forgot to mention that!! Thanks Joey, I am extremely greatful!

Hello Fantastic Friends and Faithful Followers of The Big Mike Road Show 2008!!! Some FANTASTIC NEWS..... Today is The Big Mike Road Show's 1st anniversary!!! Who would have known that when I posted my first post of The Big Mike Road Show EXACTLY one year ago today, the huge success that it would have become??? Not me, that's for sure! A quarter of a MILLION views already and 3rd overall thread in Theme Park Review HISTORY! I was overwhelmed by the love and support from the great TPR community and most of all, the wonderful and caring friends I met along the way!!! The friends are the best part of the whole Road Show! For all the Valuable Big Mike Readers that I met in 2008 or gave me encouragement in the thread along the way, I thank you soooooooo very much! The best part is, I still have a lot of new friends still to meet in 2009, and a lot of old friends to hang out with again!!!! One whole year and everyone still wants more What an honor!! I will do my best to entertain, keep you informed, and bring you even more parks and coasters! If you are caught up in the emotion of the big 1st anniversary like I am, now is a great time to add the "I am a Valuable Big Mike Reader Banner" and show everyone that you were part of the first years success!!! Your proud pal, Big Mike Time to "return the love" back at the hotel room for this lucky fan! Hope you enjoyed! Peace, Big Mike PS - Feel free to leave your Happy Anniversary wishes to Big Mike!!! By now, Big Mike was over stuffed and ready to have Joey help him out with his T-shirt! Since no one was around back in Arkansas to assist Big Mike, Joey checks off Arkansas on The Official Big Mike Road Show 2008 T-Shirt! Dinner! You could just go back in line and get another meal. I think I could have brought a family of four and just paid once and with a little patience, just kept getting meals for the whole family. Lunch! Breakfast! Big Mike signed up for this All You Can Eat pass and figured how could I go wrong? Random pictures of Big Mike tomfoolery: Can you find Big Mike? Since I did not have a park map at the start of the report, I will put up Crustyland's park map instead and go ride that huge coaster in the back of the park. The new Simpsons Ride! The big plane landing in the water just like in the Hudson in NY. For the Valuable Big Mike Readers. Water World. Look who is in charge of this area, Joey (Jew) from TPR!!! The water stops to reveal this big LOUD dinasour! Water before the big plunge. This guy squirted me! Scenery. The lift. I will make up for it by making believe Jurassic Park was a coaster lol. The Revenge of the Mummy! Credit #744 for Big Mike! Since it is indoors, I have no pictures for you This was really good. Plane crash. Psycho House. Wisteria Lane. Jaws. Earthquake! Part the waters. The old west. See the guy falling after getting shot? Flash flood coming. I thought when the cars blew up and flew in the air, that was awesome! Fast and the Furious. Made me think of my good buddy Ryan! Rickety bridge. First we see where the fire destroyed part of the back lot and the construction to rebuild it. Now that the work was done and I got some great shots from the model Big Mike Style, it was time to enjoy the Studio Tour! Since Big Mike was directing, what Big Mike said goes! I told the model I wanted to see some ass and told this assistant to go show me some. Universal saw the success of The Big Mike Road Show and wanted me to direct thier wedding shoot, so I said why not? Time for a little work for Universal before I get to go have some fun at thier park. You always have to "return the love" that the fans show to you! It was a great feeling strolling around saying hi to all the great people who came out to say hello. There we go, Big Mike REALLY in sunny California and ready to have lots of fun! First though, I had to go say hi to the Big Mike fans and do a little work for Universal. Big Mike is sunny California, well maybe if the person who took this could aim right lol. Halloween Horror Nights is going on also, my favorite Halloween event! The prices. Notice the all you can eat pass, more on that later! Universal Studios Hollywood! Stop #98 on The Big Mike Road Show 2008!

Actually it is the same banner, but Robb has graciously offered to host it right here off of Theme Park Review!!! Thanks Robb!!! So now the banner will show up every time! Even if you did it the old way, Robb and I are asking you to please switch it to this new way Here is how to get you own Big Mike Banner to show your support for good ole Big Mike: 1. Hit profile on top of the screen under FAQ. 2. Then hit profile again, but not the same profile button you hit the last time, this one is midscreen. 3. Then hit signature. 4. Use code robb gave us below. Just copy and paste the code right into the signature box! Good luck! Any problems, let Big Mike know! Peace, Big Mike The key is the gazebo in the water, you don't see many of those!! I also think there was a dead end sign in the movie. Best of luck and I hope you enjoyed the trip report! Peace, Big Mike Big Mike is offering an exclusive and rare Big Mike Road Show 2008 Official T-Shirt to the first person who comes up with the movies title!! Around the corner from Grandmas is this dead end where a major motion picture was filmed. This dead end had quite a few scenes filmed on it. Also that weekend, I went to Grandma's 99th birthday party!!! The audience had to fill out these questionaires before entering, and the show was based on sex stories and everyones first time. A hot babe came a little late and passed her questionaire to the end of the row after they stopped collecting them. I just happened to be at the end of the row and since I had nowhere to put it, I pocketed it. I like how she added her own catagory of "Eh". Does it surprise you that Elmer just got an Eh? She advised Elmer to practice more lol. After the games, we caught the show "My First Time" which was pretty good and entertaining. A cute event they had was the 7-8 year old boys and girls "fastest kid in NYC" races. The mens hurdles, an event Big Mike dominated back in elementary school. I was trying to take a picture of the bright markings on the far runners pants but this athlete stretching got in the way. Damn they were fast! Ladies running race. I think Nay is in that group somewhere. We witnessed an indoor pole vault World record. My guest this weekend is non other than Hot Bikini Girl from the Mexico updates once again. Track and Field event. Part of this visit into NYC was to go see the Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden. Time for the annual NYC update! Big Mike is back in NYC once again and unknowingly took this picture under this banner. Before Jeff Johnson Week comes to an end, Jeff points out a possible design flaw for all the Valuable Big Mike Readers to watch out for on your next visit to John's Incredible Pizza Co. Thanks Jeff for everything!!! Credit #743 for Big Mike! More importantly, it is a NEW credit for Jeff also!!! Jeff Johnson week is unfortunately coming to a close, I will miss him very much! The train. Big Mike lines up with other die hard coaster riders. Got my fun card and am ready to ride. Look how fast this coaster is flying. Everybody is smiling on this coaster. The Incredible Express! The prices. You need to buy the buffet to be let in to ride the coaster. Big Mike does not have a problem with that at all, but no buffet pictures this time. John's Incredible Pizza Co. (Riverside), Stop #97 on The Big Mike Road Show 2008!

Peace, Big Mike A haunted house where they actually keep a "wuss" count, which is currently over 5000! Scandia also has a Halloween event. Credit #742 for Big Mike! Exclusive Big Mike Technology of "Shadow View". Bonus Jeff Johnson picture for all the Jeff Johnson fans out there. The lift. Jeff Johnson week continues!!! The train. Looks like the Screamer lives up to its name. Even a mid level view. Overview. Scandia Screamer! Credit #741 for Big Mike! Big Mike fits! Little Dipper! I could tell right away from the naked mermaid that I was going to like this place! Big Mike uses the VIP enterance. Scandia!
