Hey Friends!!! The Big Mike Road Show 2009 has JUST added a stop for TONIGHT!!! The New Jersey State Fair at The Meadowlands is the place to be tonight to hang out with The Mighty Big Man. Big Mike took a poll on Facebook this week asking everyone if they count fair coasters on their coaster count, and the overwhelming result was YES THEY DO! Big Mike has NEVER counted a faoir or carnival coaster, mainly due to the fact that the coaster counter websites I use don't list them! Now that Big Mike World Headquarters has updated to using an excel spreadsheet, it is now possible to count them!!! I admit it was silly not to count them all along since they ARE coasters, and even better than some I ride regularly. The sad part is Big Mike has lost out on a major number of credits now, but to keep integrity, I will not go back and add them now... Its a fresh start from here! That said, the NJ State Fair at The Meadowlands kicks off tonight!! Opening night is DOLLAR night!!! $1 parking, $1 admission, $1 rides, and most important... $1 food items. So it makes sense to get these NEW credits for as cheap as possible, and The Big Mike Road Show 2009 will be in full Big Mike Gear Tonight!! Come on out for a very cheap night of fun!! Hello Fantastic Friends!!! The Scandinavia trip has come to an end and this post will be a thank you to all the great friends and Valuable Big Mike Readers that were on the trip! My friend Robin presented me with 50 brand new Valuable Big Mike Reader Pins and gave me a challenge to give all of them out. I did not want to force people to take one, so I just let people come up and ask me for one IF they wanted one. So this is the last Scandi report, consisting of people pics at Linnanmaki, Sight seeing in Helsinki Finland, and Big Mike's FAVORITE Ride Op Girl of the trip There will be a FINAL update consisting of all my friends on the trip that asked for the brand new Big Mike Valuable Reader Pins, and also EVERY hiding spot on the Scandi trip for the Mikestery Treasure Hunt Cards!! Another new ride, and Johanna and Big Mike are bonding big time. Johanna kept moving from ride to ride and kept asking me to come see her there. Johanna and I had instant chemistry as soon as we laid eyes on each other! My favorite ride op girl of the trip, Johanna! Linnanmaki!

Don't shoot the messenger dude! The Big Man was only forwarding what The Main Man had posted! I am not down about my 7th place finish at all!!! As I wrote, I was hoping to be in the top half, and 7th was way better than that! Every Valuable Big Mike Reader KNOWS that Big Mike had the 4th best lap time of the event while still having a weight disadvantage and if The Mighty Big Man did not wind up getting robbed by getting caught up in everyone elses big mess up on turn one, Big Mike would have been right at the top! Rumor has it that the Brits KNEW that Big Mike from Team USA was thier main threat and conspired to take him out as soon as possible. Thats ok though, Big Mike can relate to being a big target from his days back in his prime being an all star. Hello all my great friends!!!! The 1st ever TPR Grand Prix is now complete and official! Also, we DO HAVE A WINNER on the guessing game Great job by The Valuable Big Mike Readers once again! It was a successful event in the eyes of The Mighty Big Man! Big Mike was the only person in the top 19 to weigh more than 200 pounds! The weight differential of these tiny drivers compared to the Big Man was just too much to overcome! Big Mike did however have the 4th fastest lap of the day as his expertise in go carts was shining. There were two major mistakes in the race that cost Big Mike a 3rd place finish. Time wise lost during 2 mishaps would have put Big Mike near the top, but the top 2 were just too much for him. Big Mike qualified 6th for the Championship race but off the dead stopped start, cars flew by him until Big Mike could get his car up to speed and then in turn one there was a huge pile up and Big Mike got caught in everyone else's mess By then, Big Mike was playing catch up and got back up to 6th before making a mental mistake and winding up in the bushes. Big Mike battled back but ran 1 lap short of catching back up to Larry for 6th, finishing a half second behind. Overall, a 7th place finish is respectable! CONGRATS to Colin for guessing correctly with Tom and you will get a brand new Valuable Big Mike Reader pin shortly! Peace, Big Mike 1st place - Non German Tom!!! Congrats Tom! Hope you enjoyed! Hey Friends!!! Friday morning already here in Finland, and you know what that means, right???? IT IS TIME FOR THE 1ST ANNUAL TPR GRAND PRIX!!! Big Mike personally wants to win the whole thing and get the 1st place trophy, but after a last place finish out of 6 in a pre-race qualifier at another park, hopes are not too high! Big Mike's weight is the problem, and that seems to over ride his expertise in go carting! So now we have adjusted our goals for the big race as follows: 1st place - A dream come true, but not likely. Top 3 trophies - Usually a given, but too many light weights racing... I would say I would need the perfect ride. Top 10 - Before the qualifying race a few parks ago, I would sy this would have to happen for me to be happy, but now THIS is my goal! Top half of the field - If I don't get this, it is going to be a bad day for the Big Man. For those that don't know, Big Mike is a born winner and it will haunt him forever not to finish in the top half! 40 RACERS, WHO WILL WIN????????????
