  1. I'd like La Ronde to have DC theming. Vampire could be rethemed to Batman, there'd be a Grid ride, a Wonder Woman ride, a Superman ride, a Cyborg ride, a The Joker ride, a Harley Quinn ride...
  2. I'd like at least 10% of Frontier City and Great Escape to be themed to Looney Tunes and DC. Brain Drain to be themed to Grid (Cyborg's arch-nemesis) and some other stuff. Great Escape needs Pandemonium turned into Cyborg Hyper Drive and Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn and The Joker rides. La Ronde is the one that needs DC theming honestly, I'll get to that in a bit.
  3. I’m not convinced thats any less awkward except in the Romantic-branch languages (eg Spanish) where that kind of wording is conventional. Japanese And I didn't realize all the DC rides were without possessive. Cyborg Hyper Drive anyone? I really thought the older rides like Riddler's Revenge and Joker's Jinx as well as Poison Ivy's Tangled Train/Catwoman's Whip, nearly all the SFNO rides (Joker's Jukebox and Lex Luthor's Invertatron) and Harley Quinn's Crazy Train were the only with possessive. I mean, Superman and Batman and Wonder Woman and Green Lantern and Cyborg all had their rides without possessive.
  4. The Riddler Revenge was also the name of a Discovery at another Six Flags park which escapes me at the moment. Also, Catwoman Whip was the name of the Mondial Shake at SFNO and where the Catwoman statue in this ride comes from. This ride used to be the only themed to Poison Ivy until Katrina hit. I need another Poison Ivy ride! That, Two-Face, and Nightwing... oh we already have a Nightwing again but I hate Slingshots for obvious reasons
  5. Interesting. I haven't heard of any other Six Flags removing the possessive on older rides yet. Yet they still keep "The" in front of Grid's name, when that isn't his official name. Even Jen McGrath called him "Grid" and then proceeded to call him something his arch-enemy besides Cyborg is. I feel kinda weird surrounded by all these people who had no idea who Grid was before this ride when I was all "WHY GRID" upon seeing Six Flags' erroneous name back in September 2018 (a time I didn't like Grid, mind you. It'd soon change when I saw him and Cyborg separate in Injustice 2.)
  6. Ok then, All we know is that the building is painted. windows are shut and blocked out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk YEESSSSS GRID GRID GRID what color is the building? and btw did anyone know who Grid was before this ride besides me?
  7. Park's open. Any construction on "THE GRID"? Goddamnit I hope AT&T/Time Warner approves the idea of Grid having emotion and laughing evilly...
  8. Two more months until the Media Day for Cyborg Hyper Drive. Construction hasn't begun. I want the effing Grid. (Still haven't fixed that error.) Apparently there's gonna be merchandise in the gift shop you apparently get dumped into at the end of the ride. I want some Grid merchandise smh. I'm already gonna beeping explode because I KNOW he'll be voiced by Bumper Robinson. Ya know, the guy that gave him an effing sexy voice in Lego DC Super Villains. Here's bettin' he'll say "Grid... online" and "Have a nice day" (especially the latter) but "I am Grid" (his semi-catchphrase in Injustice 2) would work well too. And I have my money bet on him laughing evilly too, since he'll probably have emotion here. GODDAMNIT! JUNE CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH! LATE SPRING, GUYS! WE GOTTA TAKE OUR SINGING AND DANCING FUN TO THE PARK THEN!
  9. Come on, just listen to his voice (the same voice he'll have in the ride, knowing Six Flags uses Bumper Robinson as Cyborg, and he voices Grid in addition to Cyborg in this game): Call me crazy, but that voice is just hot. IDK. It's not my fault I'm a DC fangurl and judge the rides by how much they make me fangasm.
  10. I like that they know his name is Grid now, but DUDE! You got it right the first time! He's a sentient cybernetic system! Not something his mortal arch-enemy is... (If you watched Cartoon Network's "Golden Era" on afternoons in the year I was born, then you may know who that is. Hint: From a weeklong event "a better cartoon show" had.)
  11. *police sirens* This is Six Flags. Sounds like somebody doesn't have Cyborg's technology.
  12. I'm not supporting SFGAdv this year because of one thing: Cyborg doesn't get any attention anymore. If they wanted to have a ride based on a woman superhero, they could've done it before; save the ride based on a black superhero for now. (Blacks get attention before women? What kind of Earth is this?) ...And whoever gets upset over this joke is a snowflake who believes in PC. Thankfully, SFNE has a Cyborg ride opening. (With Grid in it) So I'm rooting for the Patriots while the rest of my family are rooting for the Bulls.
  13. LMAO. And as for teenage female roller coaster enthusiasts, they're most likely Six Flags trash who're also DC aficionados.
  14. I go to a lot of Ghetto Fairs by my house, and they've got rides your Valley Fair had. Lodi had a Paratrooper, Cresskill had a Zipper, most of them had a Dizzy Dragons. Although for me, the ultimate Ghetto Fair is the Meadowlands Fair in East Rutherford. Petting zoos (sadly no zonkeys), Zipper, Dizzy Dragons, no Paratrooper, but lots of junkies. How was your Ghetto Fair experience aside from the two videos? I'd like to compare it with mine. (Who's Nina, anyway?)
  15. I am not attracted to the voices of animatronics and CGI. Different strokes for different folks? It's Cyborg as a whole I'm attracted to, like in the comics, etc. I'm 16, for crying out loud! And his Battle for Metropolis voice is the voice I imagine him having in the comics.
  16. Why the fuck were people confused when I brought up the relatively bad acting in the Justice League: Battle for Metropolis ride? My God, there's no need to be confused. Cyborg sounds like a little kid on a swing and The Flash sounds derpy. That's it. They need to hire better voice direction. I don't want to know how Grid will sound like in Cyborg: Hyper Drive at SFNE (but considering I do like Cyborg's "little kid" voice, and think it's actually pretty savage at some points, chances are I'll like Grid's voice.)
  17. So we didn't get a January announcement at all for the Cyborg ride, besides a leaked title, "Cyborg: Hyper Drive." "Hyper Drive" could be referring to the device in the storyline, but I'm more concerned about if "The Grid" is supposed to be Grid or not. It probably is, because I've heard Grid called that before (on the TV Tropes page for Justice League: Forever Evil, to be specific.) And besides, they said it was a "sentient cybernetic system." Obviously Grid. Now I just wanna know how his voice will sound. Because I fucking love that Injustice 2 voice, even if it's Cyborg speaking in monotone pitched down. (Aw great, because I said "Cyborg speaking in monotone," that means I have to bring up the Justice League webcomic idea I have where Grid invades Cyborg's brain to steal his emotions, and Cyborg ends up sounding monotonous. We now return to your regular Six Flags New England discussion.)
  18. The almost wooden levels of acting in Battle for Metropolis; specifically for Cyborg and The Flash. However, Cyborg has a pretty cute voice.
  19. Does anyone else think the voice of Cyborg in Battle for Metropolis is fucking adorable? I mean, for someone who's meant to be tough (look at the Cyborg: Cyber Spin sign. He's like, a grown man there. And yet he has his BfM voice in the phone teaser.) he sure doesn't sound like it. He's happy and upbeat and talks his mouth off. He says he's the youngest member of the Justice League, but I don't think he's THAT young. And Bumper Robinson did a bad job at expressing emotion, "They're talking about capturing Superman!" sounds a bit panicked, sure, but it sounds more like he's excited. And don't get me started about the actual ride; two points at which he panics, but it does sound OK. However, as far as words go, I will always know that the Cyborg animatronic is also a fucking savage. Listen closely to that cute voice and you'll hear savageness. He roasts everyone, even the Justice League Reserve Team members he's recruiting and greeting. ETA: And The Flash. Good God, The Flash. "AI'VE GOT DIS"
  20. Apparently the Cyborg ride is going to be called Cyborg Hyper Drive, as said on the description for the Six Flags site when you look up "six flags cyborg hyper drive." But on the site itself, it's still called Cyborg. Also, I hate how the Six Flags press release, and thus everywhere else, call the DC Super Villain (Six Flags terminology) as "The Grid," when I know exactly which character they are referring to and know his name is just "Grid." The sole place on the Net you'll see his correct name be used in this context is the ride's page on the Six Flags Wiki, which I created and edited. I wonder why they're using Grid if he apparently last appeared in the New 52. Injustice 2, maybe? (Does that mean he's still in the Rebirth?! Haven't caught up with the Cyborg comics because I only have volume 1.) Speaking of, I find Grid's voice in Injustice 2 strangely hot (on the same level of hotness as Cyborg's voice) and hope he has that voice, with added emotion (because Six Flags don't care about continuity! Hooray!) in the ride. I hope I can take my singing and dancing fun to the park this June.
