Photo TR: Evacuated from Disney's Nemo Ride!
Guy T. Koepp replied to timfar's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
You lucky dawgs! I never get an evac or roll back! Sometimes I question why I even got into this hobby. Oh! I remember! It's cause Robb is one sweet, spicy, deep fried, hawt piece of a$$! Oh, and thank you for proudly displaying your Chargers Bolts. GO CHARGERS! Guy "Will I ever get an evac? C'mon! There has to be somebody well connected with some park to get me my evac?" Koepp -

Awesome TR Soren! Dubai looks amazing. It still confounds me how empty this place seems to be every time I see pictures of it. It looks beautiful. -

Wildebeest looks amazing! I am so looking forward to riding it. Guy "If loving air time is a criminal offense. Lock me up, cause I am guilty as charged!" Koepp -
Dude! Banzi Burger rocks! You need to sex it up a bit by adding sauteed mushrooms, bacon and jalepenos. Then you need to cover it with a bit of my special manasian sauce! Oh! and adding another patty with jalapeno jack cheese would just about make it perfect! Guy "Awesome TR! Looks like you had a blast!" Koepp

You should see my keychain photo from my third lap(in the front row) because I got slammed into the restraint pretty good but not really any pain though. I'm gonna have to start wearing goggles on that thing because the resulting wind generated by the speeds of the ride left me with a bad case of pink eye in my left eye after that last ride....has this happened to anyone else? Perhaps someone sharted on the seat before you got on the coaster. (It is intense after all.) Then you touched it with your hands and rubbed it into your eyes. Guy "I'm told this happens all the time. That's why I bring germ killing handiwipes with me and allways clean the seat before I sit down." Koepp -

It was pretty busy there last Wednesday, so we got the Q2Q as it saved us a ton of time. If it's busy, you should get one. Dwood's Q2Q is priced very reasonably. I think less than $10 per person, and even cheaper the more people you add to it. With my platinum pass discount, I think it ended up being like $5.50 each for the five of us. Guy "Much more reasonably priced than say a flash pass." Koepp -

^Thank you. I wish I had taken more, but I was with my family, and sometimes it's hard to step away to get enough for a decent TR. Also, they don't allow any loose articles on the structure as you really need both hands for everything. There is a greeter at the que to check people. Guy "Yes, they do have Locher$. Or as TPR likes to call them, Lockers." Koepp -

It was directional, meaning you could only enter the obstacles in one direction. However, there didn't seem to be any set course to follow. In fact, most kids, (mine included) would go over a crossing, double back on the chicken bridge and cross the obstacle again. I don't recall any set course that you needed to take. We just meandered around and explored as much of the structure as we could until closing. -

You won't get soaked to the bone. Just soaked to the crotch. There is a guyser under the chicken path, but it is easy to avoid. -

No. They don't warn you about getting wet, but when you approach an obstacle with geysers going off under it. It is pretty obvious that you may be getting wet. They do have the chicken ramp that will allow you to pass over the obstacle and miss the geysers. Guy "The chicken ramp is for pussies!" Koepp -

Thank you all for the kind comments. In answer to some of your questions. Elissa wrote: Unfortunately no. As both Jarett & January are over the height requirements, I didn't have time to walk through the kids area. But if all the happy laughing toddlers were any indication, I think she will have a great time. I will try to get more pictures of Camp Teachittoome the next time I go. Probably at the end of the month. OldJJman wrote: No aching muscles to speak of. But as you know, I am in peak physical condition due to my MMA classes. The rope burns didn't happen until I got home and was sexually assaulted by Alana. OH CRAP moments? Yeah, but mostly due to unsupervised kids cutting in front of you and pissing you off. Bring a tazer, it'll come in handy. JK. The structure operators are very on top of escorting trouble makers off the ride. There are a lot of them. (operators) The wet crotch, shorts, & shirt were a welcome surprise as you do work up a sweat traversing this whole area. moinab wrote: It's not the quickest line in the park, but well worth the time you get to spend on the structure. They never once stopped allowing people to climb on, or ran out of harnesses. Seriously, we had a blast playing on this thing. Guy "I got the good kinda rope burns." Koepp -
