Hello everyone, I am hoping yau all have gotten in the Christmas Spirit already, if not, these photos will definitly put you in the Christmas Spirit. Well I have not really posted on the forums in a while, because I had final exams. But I decided that will redeem myself with a big photo update. Before you continue I recomend that you revisit Robb and Elissa's fantastic photos from this Summer... http://www.themeparkreview.com/europe2005/tivoli/tivoli1.htm Well thats how Tivoli looks during the summer. Over three different visits during Tivoli's Christmas season, I have compiled the best photos that I have taken, of the various sections of the park. I hope you enjoy the photos, and have a wonderful Christmas and A Happy New Year. Dane Note: Sorry, the pictures came in reverse order During the Christmas season at Tivoli they three unique rides, that they do not have open during the summer. This is the first one... This is the second ride, a two-story Merry-Go-Round. (Sorry, I did not take a picture of the thrid ride) These Elves truamatize anyone, scarry. Robb and Elissa, do you remember this place? And this... The Trojan Deer? Says itself... Looks good.. This tree, along with two similar trees takes five men three weeks to decorate. Wow! Another pic. across the lake looking towards Dæmonen. They call this the "Crystal Tree"... Note tree is FULLY covered in lights. Wonder why they call this S&S Drop Tower the Golden Tower? The loop of Dæmonen at night... Another pic. of Dæmonen, it's like a spaghetti of B&M Track. When I was on the way home from, Tivoli one night, from an English standpoint I could see the humor in this. This looks likes an ordinary elevator a first sight, at Copenhagen Cenral Station, but what is that? A close up. Yes it is the one and only farting elevator. Don't push the button!

Where in the world ARE Robb & Elissa?

Hello, This is just a stab in the dark, there is actually a amusement park called Idlewild, which has coasters and a water park hinting the the water in the picture and which also has a trolly traveling through the park hinting the "watch your step sign". http://www.idlewild.com/home0.cfm Also, it could hit to the Idlewild airport project. Where in the world ARE Robb & Elissa?

Well yes I do, that is cool that we have something in common. I mainly got into the hobby around a year ago when my friend took me to a viewpoint over Copenhagen International Airport, and I was instantly grabbed. I still go the viewpoint and look over the airport with a trusty pair of binoculars and enjoy every min. Ever since I have been flight simming and looking at airliners.net when I have time. But my first hobby is still trains and model railroading, which I still construct on. But I also love the thrill of rollercoasters and the amazing engineering feets they represent. Dane -

This is a very good bet, I think the closest one yet! I think that we need more clues so we can narrow our search down, please. 8) So far I think this game is great fun and I hope we get more of them in the future. Very entertained, Dane -

Hello, Something tells me that they are in Boston MA. I guess by the picture of the rabbit that they must have visited Bostons Heritage Museum and Gardens, were one might find rabbits. Just a educated guess, Dane -

Hello, So I guessed that the airline was American, is that right? In fact American bought TWA back in 2002, so that makes sense that they have not replaced all material yet. I assume that it was a local flight on an MD-80 series aircraft. Correct? Dane -

Hello everyone I think that they are on an American Airlines flight some were to or from Boston, the first pictures are from the airport. Since I am intersested in these sort of things too, I can tell you that American Airlines bought TWA. Here is proof, have a look at the American/TWA design of the airplane... http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=242568&WxsIERv=ZpQbaaryy%20Qbhtynf%20ZQ-83%20%28QP-9-83%29&Wm=0&WdsYXMg=Genaf%20Jbeyq%20Nveyvarf%20%28GJN%29&QtODMg=Ngynagn%20-%20Unegfsvryq-Wnpxfba%20Vagreangvbany%20%28Gur%20Jvyyvnz%20O%20Unegfsvryq%29%20%28NGY%20%2F%20XNGY%29&ERDLTkt=HFN%20-%20Trbetvn&ktODMp=Wnahnel%2024%2C%202002&BP=0&WNEb25u=Tertt%20Fgnaforel&xsIERvdWdsY=A9412J&MgTUQtODMgKE=N%20ener%20fvtug%20va%20Ngynagn%2C%20na%20Nzrevpna%2FGJN%20Zq-83%20gnkvrf%20gb%2026Y.&YXMgTUQtODMgKERD=1294&NEb25uZWxs=2002-06-09%2000%3A00%3A00&ODJ9dvCE=&O89Dcjdg=53187%2F2118&static=yes&width=1024&height=780&sok=JURER%20%20%28nveyvar%20YVXR%20%27Genaf%20Jbeyq%20Nveyvarf%25%27%29%20NAQ%20%28ZNGPU%20%28nvepensg%2Cnveyvar%2Ccynpr%2Ccubgb_qngr%2Cpbhagel%2Cerznex%2Ccubgbtencure%2Crznvy%2Clrne%2Cert%2Cnvepensg_trarevp%2Cpa%2Cpbqr%29%20NTNVAFG%20%28%27%2B%22nzrevpna%22%20%2B%22nveyvarf%22%27%20VA%20OBBYRNA%20ZBQR%29%29%20%20BEQRE%20OL%20cubgb_vq%20QRFP&photo_nr=12&prev_id=243602&next_id=237081 Dane -
Hello Everyone, Yes, you saw it right Denmark does actually have a theme park with all the strange props and themeing that you saw in the review. Well none-the-less there is actually candy that you can actually eat themed after some of the things. For example, you can acctually buy candy in the shape of boobs, and bird poo. Well enough about that, if I get the chance I will buy some of the candy, and post pictures of it on the boards. Dane

Hello everyone, The Tivoli and Bakken updates are great! The "Hold På Hatten" sign in the Tivoli photos means "Hold on to your hat" because the men back in the day used to wear top hats on the coaster. There is also a picture of me in the Bakken update . If anyone has any questions about the two parks feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them. Feel free to have a look at my photos! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18217 Thanks, Dane

Hello Everyone, It has been a long time since Robb and Elissa have visited Denmark, to experience Tivoli and Bakken. But I have finally gotten my photos developed (I don't have a digital camara ). But I have decided that I would like to share my photos with anyone that would be interested. On the day that Robb and Elissa were to visit Denmark I decieded that it would be a good idea to meet up with them, and be there own personal tour guide 8) (Because I have lived in the US for 12 years but I am born Danish, so I know both languages). I contacted Robb and agreed on a time and place that we can meet up on. When the day came, I waited for them at the main enterance at Tivoli. But they were no where to be seen. But luckly something inside the park caught my attention and I happen to notice Robb, Elissa and gang inside the park. Luckly, I had my season pass on me and I managed to catch up with them and introduce myself. As it happed to be, Robb and Elissa had arranged a PR-tour of the park and we were guided around the park by the PR represenative. First stop on the tour was the newly constructed B&M, "Dæmonen", on which they got some on-ride footage. Thereafter, we got a tour of Rutschebanen (the wooden coaster) inside and out. Robb and Elissa decided that they wanted to go to Bakken next and come back to Tivoli later. Being a train enthusiast also, I recomended that the fastest and quickest way to go to Bakken, was to go by a short 15-min train ride, by car the trip takes twice as much time. When we arrived we tried out some coasters, and we met up with some people from themeparkdenmark.dk. After a couple of fun packed hours there we returned to Tivoli and hit a couple of rides before supper time. For supper we had Italian (Elissa's choice, obviously ) and thereafter we decided to part, as Robb, Elissa and gang had to drive to there hotel which was 35 mile drive outside Copenhagen. As with any trip report I have some pics, hope you all like them. Thanks, Dane Bakken: Robb waving "Hi" as Robb and Elissa arrive at the station. Bakken: Elissa is screaming in joy as Robb is trying to get all the knots out of his camra wire... Bakken: Robb waving goodbye to the ride-op as they are about to get a kiddy credit. Tivoli: This is almost scary... Tivoli: Robb getting out of the train in a hurry. (Sorry, no better caption) Tivoli: Robb sitting in the back seat of the train. Tivoli: Camras Everybody, the train is coming! Tivoli: The interested Robb look... Tivoli: Walking around inside the coaster. Ohhh, ahhh, amazing! Tivoli: Here we are inside Rutschebanen, looking at the lift motor, cool!

Ja, I agree, I have only been on one and only one TOGO in my life that was on Viper at SFGA. My neck was about to break off (ouch :? ). Thank God that that Six Flags has realized that it should be scrapped, and are currently in the process of removing it. Dane

Hello, Anything is better than a Togo coaster. I have only been on a Togo coaster once and that was at SFGA on Viper. I thought that my neck was going to snap off, all the other riders agreed with me when they got off. Dane

Hello, Here in moving the clock back one hour in the Winter time makes it dark at around 4 p.m during Midwinter. During summer time moving the clock forward one hour makes sun go down during Midsummer at around 9:30 p.m.. That makes Winter a very depressing time of year. Food for thought, Dane

Hello everyone, I am new to the Forums. So, have you been to Denmark before? If so, what did you like the most about your stay. Did you like the amusement parks? Thank You, Dane

Hej, Jeg hedder "The Dane" på andre forums men valgte at bruge "Dane" istedet pga at du havde det. Sorry, about the Danish but I just had to tell Shadowforce that I have another username on other forums. By the way Robb make sure that you get to try some of the Danish food while in Denmark. Not just MacDonalds (Besides it is very expensive at MacDonalds here in comparison to the US) Try to go to one of the Hotdog stands around, they taste great. Dane -
