I have attached a 1972 postcard. Absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see that look return. Sidewalks were removed in 1982. That same year, the trees were planted and those ugly cement walls went up around the Royal Fountain. The ornate landscaping around the fountain gradually started fading away under Carl Lindner's ownership and was completely removed under Paramount. The buildings received a minor repaint in 1982(?) and the current colors were under Paramount. The Royal Fountain was last updated in 2003. IIRC. 1972 International Street

Oh sweet, I hope they hired the same guys who did the main street renovation at Walibi Holland! Wow, is that ugly. I believe the facades will probably go back to the more authentically European 1972 look with browns and yellows. I hate the horrid, bright colors they have now. The focal point when you walk in should be the Royal Fountain and Eiffel Tower and the buildings should not be visual disruptions to that straight shot, which they are now. Circa 1976 beauty

As of Friday (November 30), both trains of Firehawk were still on-site next to the lift hill. A little hard to see if you are not looking for them.

It is interesting that Schlitterbahn plans to plea not guilty. The evidence in the indictment seems pretty damning.

So awful. That people are excusing Schlitterbahn, Jeff Henry, Tyler Miles, etc. for this is sickening. I don't think a lot of people on here have actually read the full indictment.
