  1. ^ Oh cool...I love the opening area but it was getting a bit tired. Are they gonna try to switch up Terror Tram a bit too? That's feeling very stale.
  2. Also who knows if three years down the line Outlaw Run won't be rough as well?
  3. Is there a single old-school designed wooden coaster over 75 feet tall that hasn't become a maintenance issue or extremely rough?
  4. NEVER READ THE COMMENTS.
  5. Good to know the experience is still the same...guess we'll just have to get used to seeing seatbelts on the Six Flags RMC's from now on.
  6. I could see something similar to SFDK's Superman...maybe having some sort of way to run two trains.
  7. ^ I think we're at the parks where parks have to go with one of the newer style wooden coasters from RMC or Intamin that can be a little crazier but don't require crazy maintenance...or you go with a GCI which are not as thrilling. The Dinn/CCI/TGG model of building crazy wooden coasters using older methods has now proven to be a long term failure.
  8. It looks like any other bobsled coaster...but made of wood. What am I missing?
  9. I doubt they are content with it...it's been needing to be retracked extensively every year while running the current PTC's...they wouldn't have tried for five years to get Timberliners if they were happy with it. Something else happened.
  10. Someone should go through this thread and dig up all the fanboy comments saying the trains would definitely make it on!
  11. Glad it's reopened..not the best coaster but still better than most!
  12. Downtown Disney is getting two Starbucks locations. One full storefront in the empty space between World of Disney and Blink and a kiosk over by ESPN. The war on shitty coffee at the Resort continues!
  13. Good stuff...I have a hard time believing Hatbox Ghost will actually go into the Mansion, I just think WDI is into torturing the hardcore fans.
  14. Glad they got it reopened...seatbelts seem like the best trade-off at this point in time.
  15. Smart move. This park didn't make sense in their stable. I think they could shed off another property or two and be in much better shape.
  16. That's the only maze that terrified my wife..she stills talks about it.
  17. Obviously something in his brain shook loose between Ride 600-650.
  18. ^ Robb has said the corkscrew and turnaround are the only smooth sections of the ride now.
  19. Herschend only has two parks to deal with, whereas Six Flags and Cedar Fair have more properties and employees to manage.
  20. ^ Also someone might make a noise and Prudential would complain.
  21. ^ More or less, yes. If Cal-OSHA won't sign off on the evac rig, they'd either have to come up with another solution which would cost more time and money, or they could send it to WOF, wash their hands of the mess, and build something better.
  22. Grrrr now I'm going to have to buy a one piece to cover up the COCK lettering on my tum-tum.
