My tip would be to contact AAA. They can set you up with a great trip. We did a 3-day park hopper that got us in the park early one of the days. The hopper's also came with unlimited fastpasses. We also stayed at the Grand Californian. It is a little pricey, but worth it. If you don't do that, then I would suggest to set your standards low, get fast passes and hope that the lines aren't too long. Fast pass Space Mountain first, ride Buzz Lightyear, head to the Matterhorn and ride both sides, then ride Big Thunder. Head over to Indy and if the line is too long, fast pass it. I believe by that time you would be ready if you don't have unlimited fastpasses. If the fastpass says to ride between 11:30 and 12:30, don't worry if you don't make it. You can't ride earlier than 11:30, but you could ride it anytime after that. We did that the whole time. If you are going to DCA on day 2, I would suggest riding Soarin', or fastpass it right away. Head to Monsters and then to TOT. When you go back to Screamin', fastpass it and then do single rider line a couple times. Ride Screamin' at night with your fastpass if you can. If Maliboomer's line is too long, then do single rider line on that as well as Mulholland. I know there are things I missed, but you need to experience a little bit. Good luck and have fun!

^5 Katie was from Survivor season 10. She was in the final 2 with Tom, the fireman from New York. I didn't get any photos of Stephenie because she was there before I showed up. She had to go to the local radio station for an interview and she got back after I left. Unfortunately I had to get back to work. I showed my boss the photos and he asked where are the ones with Stephenie. I told him why and asked maybe I should have called him and I could have stayed a little later. ^3 Don, We just got back from PGA. We saw Ryan and talked to him for a little bit. I might be able to see you on Wednesday. I will just have to look at when I will be on lunch. This ride is fine to me. We rode it twice today. The park wasn't crowded at all because of the rain off and on. We also road Top Gun 3 times. Twice in the front seat!

^I haven't heard anything more about the lawsuit, but I don't think that they would show up to a Survivor thing if it didn't get settled. I also thought it was from the lawyer in season one, but I am not too sure about that. ^^You know what's funny Wally is that there were only 4 of us walking up to the ride with 3-4 PGA workers. I know it looks like stalking, but it was just the fact that we were the only ones going on the ride at the time. I was also asked to take the picture of them in the photo part. Dave Cobb had me send him that picture. I am glad to see my stalking skills are okay though. It worked on you. STALKER!!!!

^^Good to see you too Ryan. It was fun and really exclusive. PM me with your email address and I can send you the pics. Gyendolynne and I are planning on going to PGA Saturday. We're also thinking about SCBB or SFMW on Sunday. Haven't decided yet and we have the family dinner in the early evening. ^I enjoyed the ride too. I don't know about the hut, but I am sure if they're supposed to have it, it will be there.

I just got back from Survivor The Ride Media Day. I was able to get over there before work since the time was from 6am-12pm. I went there for just an hour or so. It was pretty good. I wish I could have stayed for the whole time. I rode Survivor twice, and then met up with Steve Wilson from Norcal ACE. Then I saw some people that I recognized talking in another group. Yep, it was Lex and Katie Gallagher from Survivor. I found out that I just missed Stephenie. She had to do a spot on the radio station and then come back to PGA. Oh well! I rode with Lex and Katie one more time and then left. Anyway, the ride is really good aside from Nutcracker hill. Make sure your feet are planted on the ground and lift yourself up a little bit or you’ll be crushed! I have also heard that it smashes the women a little bit in the upper area. Here are the pics. after the ride We are the only ones on the ride. It is Me, Lex, Katie and a guy that I didn't get the name of... Here's the queue area where you stomp your feet. Katie and Lex on their way to ride Survivor Lex worked at PGA back in the day and really liked the characters. The other person is Dave Cobb from Viacom/CBS He liked Spongebob Square Pants and even knew the episodes. Another pic of us. He is really a great guy! Lex and I No one in the queue either Yep, I am the only one on the ride Up and over NUTCRACKER Hill but it gets moving pretty good and then I have to endure the long wait of the removal of the bridge. My first ride, I look so excited... Yay! Media Day

I am actually friggin' bored out of my mind!!!!! Oh yeah, this might be the worst poll ever! -
Hi all, I was just realizing that TPR is coming close to its 10,000 member and thought it might be interesting to guess what date that might happen. No prizes or anything, just marking a milestone. I believe TPR has been increasing around 20 members a day recently so that is the reason for my date selections. Please post a date if it is beyond the Poll.

What's Your Beer Personality?
Coaster Palooza replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
You Are Samuel Adams You're fairly easy to please when it comes to beer - as long as it's not too cheap. You tend to change favorite beers frequently, and you're the type most likely to take a "beers of the world" tour. When you get drunk, you're fearless. You lose all your inhibitions. You're just as likely to party with a group of strangers as you are to wake up in a very foreign place. -
My name is Rick

Continued... That's the end of our trip, wait weren't we in Northern California? It rotates and moves.... here it is again... Yep, that disc thing moved. It must be testing... I think they are testing..... Hey! It's that new ride, Survivor... I think Gyendolynne is going to get many pics with characters this year. I drove here in the mystery machine.

Hey, I just thought I would piggy back this post with my pics instead of creating a whole new thread. Our Friday started out with picking up Ryan at 11am and heading to Anheuser Busch for the Brewery tour. The tour was nice. Thanks Wally for putting that together. I drank a Bud Light with the Spyke of Lime and then I had a B to the E with a Spyke of Lime. Gyendolynne had a B to the E after she had a Bud Light with a Spyke of some fruity thing I can't remember. After the tour we headed to the Blue Grog for lunch/dinner/whatever??? It was raining, actually hailing, at this point. The food was great and the beer was smooth. Thanks Wally for the round of beers. I am glad I was drinking from the Blue Grog glass and not the Marie Calendar's. We all went to SFMW after that and the rain let up a little bit, but there was this huge puddle. I decided to see how deep it was and before I knew it, I was half way through and up to my ankles. I kept running through the rest of it. Oh well! Once we got inside we saw Batman and Robin. We also saw around 5 differents sets of Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester, etc. I was happy to see the characters, but they were all brought out at the same time. I also saw Wonder Woman and Flash later on in the night, but no pic. We went to Red Robin for dinner/whatever to celebrate Wally's Birthday! I don't know what the problem is with filming a cart in the mall, but boy did that create a commotion. Gyendolynne and I headed to PGA on Sunday. Thanks for the tickets Ryan. PGA was really great on Sunday. It did have a crowd, but it didn't feel overcrowded. I got some video of Survivor the Ride and posted it here; http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23446 They were testing it today. Other than that, I don't know what else to say except I am glad that we didn't create an international incident on Friday. naaah, forget about that, it's Wally's birthday, complete with a birthday sundae! but first, how about the international incident... I am hungry, time for dinner or whatever? after this photo my camera was confiscated. I was told once they see a camera they have to take it. I couldn't put it back in my pocket for the ride. Oh well, rules are rules. Need a coaster shot. Wally is in the near seat on Medusa, Michael is in the next seat. and the second or third or fourth group of characters. I can't remember. Second Sylvester.. Continued... Third Bugs, had a little trouble walking and Monica decided to immitate him for a little bit... Second Bug Bunny.. First set of characters to come out... but first, a pic with some characters, Batman and Robin... Now it's time for some coasters!! Nice dessert, did any get in your mouth? Everyone got to keep their glass, that's what's in the bags, no leftovers! Thanks Wally for the round of beers! and now the cast of characters, Guy you should have been in this photo Our table with the waitress Hailing before I get into Blue Grog Trying on a little something after the tour. I don't think it is my color Naturally everyone has a picture of Don and Monica trying the beer, but I am the only one with the picture of the guys taking the picture. Something just doesn't smell right, huh Monica? Yes you can go try the skunky beer I was sitting at the "little" kids table with these two I have no idea what this conversation was all about. Noted... Me, Gyendolynne and Ryan Anheuser Busch Happy St. Patrick's Day!
