Seeing the changes SF is already making to the park tells me that they might get the flagship “Six Flags” naming next year. They are changing prices, bringing in Fright Fest, and now Batman is back in the park. This could be leading towards a solid future for DL. All but confirmed judging by these email addresses.

Who says its the one from DL? Im sure that in an effort to make a profit, more than one Strike-U-Up machine was made by the manufacturer.

Crowds werent an issue at all yesterday.

Rode RFII for the first time today. Having only Predator at DL for a wood coaster I was prepared for a rough ride. Boy was I wrong. I cant believe how fast that thing is. Definitely felt faster than 60. Great ride!

Unrelated to DL but in the same area... I rode Ravine Flyer II today. What a great coaster. It definitely felt faster than 60mph.

I have to agree with this, I would take no new rides within 5 years over general improvements, staffing improvements and 2 train operations on coasters that need 2 trains and basic maintenance improvements and general park upkeep. I am not saying every coaster has to get 2 trains for next season and all of this has to happen overnight, its obviously going to take time to bring the park up to speed. The GP absolutely does notice the 1 train operations especially when they have been to other parks where the line actually moves for the major coasters. They also need to improve on crowded days where the park absolutely fails. DL's customers are mostly repeat customers who come from local areas to visit the park whether they buy a seasons pass or they make one visit per season and they need to do something to keep the locals coming back for more and that is not necessarily adding new rides. Do we really need to continue to beat this dead horse?

Premier owned it and bought Six Flags so that doesnt make sense...

Most of those expansions had a substantial part of the bill foot by "cheap" CNL. And glossing over the major expansion of the water park and Motocoaster cost a lot more than Blast Off and a few cheapie rides for Rowdy's Ridge. Even then Herschend with all of its own supposedly deep pockets saw a lot of coasters still running only one train. On another note, no Skywarp but there is a new ride coming. Talk is possibly a Star Flyer/Sky Screamer of some dimension. CNL/PARC also painted Viper, Boomerang and the Giant Wheel.

1) Do we really need to mention for the 10,000,000,000,000 time that the coasters need 2 trains? 2) Does anyone even know if ROS is even still closed?

those buses have to be long gone or just beyond repair unfortunately, but i agree would be nice to see come back. They might still be in the slide complex that shall not be named boneyard. I know as recently as 2 years ago there was an old haunted camper in the camper boneyard

I think it was more of how its a crapshoot with the weather vs. if it actually works. If they advertise it enough it should be successful.

Viper had 2 trains as recently as July 2015, so they probably can do it fairly easily, unlike ROS where the 2nd train doesnt exist.

Hope they get ROS open before the season ends? The season just started, im sure itll be fine. As far as the complaints on here about landscaping and maintenance... take them with a giant grain of salt.
