Ive seen Sleighride roofless in early season before, maybe its just something they do later all the time.

Boomerang, Predator, Twister, Heave Ho, wet rides. Pirate was being tested, not sure if its opened. Sleighride is open todsy

TR was removed before the new year, theres pics I posted on this thread of it. Its a lot of ground prep and settling to fill in those trenches. Weather and staffing is likely the biggest issue they had. Now if its the end of June and they have the same issues, then your complaint is valid. The disclaimer is clear as day on the website, rides may be limted in early season and after Aug 19th.

Looks like they saved part of TR for a water feature.

No idea about Predator. Yes on Tantrum, at least partially. Looks like theyre adding a loading platform on to it.

Predator and Boomerang are closed too EDIT: Maintenance working on the top of Predators first drop. Of note, but probably meaninglesss, theres utility flags all along Predator's fence line.

Just got in. As I said before, the campgrounds are quiet. Twister, Pirate, Giant Wheel, Sleighride, Heave Ho closed just from what I can see so far. Probably a staffing issue except for Pirate, which maintenance was working on.

Or the weather for the past month didnt inspire confidence

Looking like Memorial Day for Tantrum. Also, early ride hours for people staying on site.

DARIEN CENTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – Darien Lake will extend its operating season to six months starting this year, the theme park announced Wednesday. The park will be open from May 5 to the end of its new fall event, the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree on Oct. 29. The Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree will kick off Sept. 28 for five weekends of pumpkin-themed entertainment. Park guests will have an opportunity to bring a carved pumpkin to help Darien Lake attempt to break the Guiness World Record for most carved pumpkins in a line. With the winter weather i'm not shocked. I dont think its rare for a new addition to not be ready in the north.

Tantrum, SplashTown Waterpark, and Ignite the Night will NOT be open; other restrictions may apply.

Per the opening weekend lodging deal details, Tantrum will not be open the first two weekends.

The weather wouldve been terrible this year for Halloween weekend. I get why they dont. Its risky and staffing is tough. This way they finish on Columbus Day/Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, which is a big camping weekend.

October weekends return! Friday's in May are new too.
