  1. Yeeesss I was looking forward to your pictures! Wow, I looked stoned in the picture behind Chris and Tex!
  2. Ahhh! That was your "I'm not that innocent!" pose I believe. I had that song stuck in my head most of the damn trip! Thanks for posting the scan Wes!
  3. ^ Thanks Chris! The night parrot is definitely my favorite, but the hardest to explain to people. I was telling my roomate the story and she just kinda blinked at me and was like "That's supposed to be funny?" I was like, "yeah...kinda had to be there for that one..." But I'm glad it happened on my last ride, so I have a great memory that lasts longer than that huge bruise the Beast gave me on my ribs. Though to be fair, it's lasting a pretty long time too. And I must say THANKS to all the kind words I've got from this. It makes me tempted to draw some more things that happend on the trip, but I don't know if it would be the same as it would be done post-trip. But there will be some art for the raft incident at Mt. O. I just want to keep drawing the Midwest trip, I dun wanna let it go yet!
  4. I loved being able to see these in person! They're very awesome! Though, I have to say, your Ryan and his cell phone one was my favorite! Thanks for letting me look at your sketch book too! It was very cool!
  5. ^ THANKS! That Wes one was the first I did on the trip and spent the most time on. I won't be able to post anything until Friday because of a lack of scanner, but it'll be up!
  6. Yeah I can totally update them in black in white! I'll post the next page on Friday when I get acess to a scanner again.
  7. YAY! That picture was the first and probably nicest done. I'm waiting on Casey to give me the pictures of the sign language so I could draw that too. You had too many awesome moments to draw them all.
  8. OMG! YES! I totally will!! The image of that water stopping is one of the strongest one of the trip for me! A comic is a must!
  9. So I wasn't as cool as everyone else on the Midwest trip and even though I did bring my camera, I ended up taking very few pictures. But what I did have instead was a sketch book, plenty of down time between travels, and insane subjects to draw. I left the pictures wholly how they were drawn so there are many scribbles and sketch lines to them, they are definitely not the best examples of how I draw. But enjoy! Oh and sorry if my writing is hard to read. -Cora This first one was done actually months before the trip, which is why it is both better and colored on the computer. But yes, Robb and Elissa encourage you to join the TPR Midwest Trip. There should be a picture for Holiday World here, when Wes sang Brittney Spears, but I gave the picture to him...so just imagine instead, Wes singing Brittney Spears for yourself... Fitst when we went to SFKK, we were warned not to make any foot jokes...so what happenes? Christiana goes and wears bad shoes, effectively injuring her feet and causing everyone to ask her how her feet were doing. Second, Vanessa walking by a carrousel and seeing the chicken one and shouting this, what was more funny was how Casey fell over laughing. And lastly, I believe it was Chris with his towel in front of the Roadrunner ride being in the Rainbow Jihad. Sitting in an upstairs Indiana Beach bar, Christiana asks Casey to act like a retard down in the midway in front of other people. He does it. We have real pictures. One night, Robb and Casey discussed taking "tackle hits" out on people. All the warning they would receive would be a small piece of paper that told them they were targeted. It was the blackspot. This picture pretty much speaks for itself. One of the first to reach their rooms in the blackout at Cedar Point, I sat in the hallway to watch the fumbling. I heard pretty much the same two things, "Figures, Cedar Point" or some bad Shining joke. I thought Wes was made of awesome with the Brittney Spears singing, but then the one time I saw him at SFGA, he was doing this Batman pose with a cape. THEN at Kennywood, he and Ryan torment Jahan by dancing to Avril Lavgine. The last ride of the trip for me was the Beast with Chris, at some point during the ride, he says that he got some hair in his mouth, and in my deafness, I translated this to "parrot in his mouth" which spawned the "damn Night Parrots" of the Beast. Well, that's all I had time to sketch on the trip, it was to fun to sit around drawing, even the times in the bus. But I brought all my arts stuffs to do the bus signs, so I had to draw something.
  10. ^ That's what I remember the most about Mt. O, was standing at the foot of the pink family slide, with Christiana, Elissa, and Vanessa, waiting for Robb's raft to come down and suddenly seeing the water in the slide just STOP! Then the raft hurtling down!
  11. As a theater employee, I just am hoping these movies will do better than the other summer "blockbusters" that have already been released. That being said, I am absurdly excited for Transformers. Today we decked out our theater for Transformers with the banner, a standee and an awesome poster of Optimus Prime. It makes me happy.
  12. Wow, I remember when they built Pysclone, that was the last year I lived in Valencia. Did anyone else get the free pencils that they gave out that had "PSYCLONE: THE ULTIMATE MINDBENDER" written on them? I also had them for Viper and Flashback. Whenever my friends and I made the annual roadtrip back to the Mountain, I was the only one who ever rode it after the first year. I didn't care for it, it definitely wasn't the in the top teir of coaster at the Mountainf for me, but it was fun dragging new people on it! That being said, I totally just rewrote a part of the Six Flags comic to reflect the lost of Pysclone. Stupid Mountain messing with my arts.
  13. So that means the whole ride will be painted? Because didn't they just kinda stop on Revolution? Or did they finish that?
  14. Page 15 is up! Should I keep putting all the pages on the first page or start a new one? There's getting to be a lot of pages, and there is just more to come.
  15. Yeah that might be a problem, you have a laptop to bring or anything? <.< >.> I hope to show up in one at one point.
  16. We have to draw stuff from the trip. Some awesome comic trip reports!
  17. That looks awesome! I can't read Hebrew, but it looks neat. You gonna be bringing arts stuff on the midwest trip? My other comic isn't colored on the computer, but rather watercolored. Intensely long to do, but cool looking. The next page will maybe be up in a few days. A character from the comic, he's a reporter named Jack Greene.
  18. It actually wouldn't be bad in book form, since that is how it is drawn, but yeah the copyright stuff would kinda kill me. The most you could do is print out the pages and put it in a binder. The originals are drawn in one of those sketch books that are bound like a blank book. Pain in the butt to scan, but it feels nice to flip through. I am however, working on publishing an original comic, not a coaster or superhero one, rather a simple dystopian, 1984 type one. Drawing the Flags allows for the humor break after drawing the dismal future vision of my original one
  19. My colorist came back this week! SO actually there should be some updates coming soonish! Hopefully with in the next few days.
  20. Awww! Don't say that! Our comics are just different! FLIPDUDE is too cool for my school!
  21. Can the music really make anyone forget they are attempting to ride Colossus backwards for 13 hours?
  22. I remember when my friend went to work at Disney. She draws the CMs, not really the Disney characters but how the CMs protrayed them. When she started working there, she was talked to because her art is widely known on the net about it. She was part of Disney now, and they didn't want any inappropiate pictures out there. That's pretty hardcore, but she totally understood and didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable.
  23. Don't a lot of people, like almost believe, believe in these characters? I mean I swear up until I was 13 the Mickey at Disneyland was the Mickey. I'm sure Disney wants people to believe like that. Disney banks alot on magical atmosphere where dreams come true, so something like this can hurt them. And won't there be some people out there that will try to bring this out on even a bigger media stage? That being said, it seems like people rarely have much pride in their jobs anymore.
