I was on the side that faces Superman. There was one person on the opposite side of me facing towards Batman. I outweighed him by a bit. We didn't flip once, kind of went upside down on the last turn but instead it just slammed me into the restraint. If they ran it the way it was supposed to be run this wouldn't have happened.

I was also at the park today. The Goliath ERT was pretty awesome. I only ended up taking one ride but I rode Goliath, Colossus, Green Lantern, Batman and Gold Rusher all before 11am. Was also cool that the Gold passholders still got to go past Food Etc. at 10:20am. All the other passholders had to stay back by Goliath. I ran into Neil outside Goliath and chatted for a bit. He said they are going to be doing more of these ERT mornings before Memorial Day. Look forward to that for sure. One other note, Green Lantern. Fuck that ride. No flip at the end and instead it slammed my chest really hard into the restraint because I was laying forward. I was seriously seeing stars. Ride Op must have thought I looked bad too because he asked me if I needed First Aid. Never again.

What's everybody think of Romo's new contract? As somebody who hates the Cowboys I'm fine with it. Means we won't have to worry about them for the next 6 years. What do Cowboys fans think?

Anybody know what time the Goliath ERT starts tomorrow? Is it 10am? I know it was in their last email but I seem to have deleted it.

^ It's not the worst song ever, I'll give it that much. But since they've made some deal with Roadrunner records I'm still afraid we'll be getting Nickelback in the queue. I'd rather listen to this song every day for the rest of my life vs hear Nickelback.

Interesting support structure. I get why the connectors for the track are on the left side just looks weird to me that they aren't in the middle. Probably going to head up to the park tomorrow for a bit. How busy is it up there today?

Like the "temporary" Captain EO, this exhibit will remain until Innoventions is gone. Which will hopefully be this fall. If they were going to do an Iron Man 3 thing in the Magic Eye Theater wouldn't it be starting when this exhibit opens?

Looks cool but I think it'd be difficult for those of us who just like to have our phones in our pocket vs a cell phone holder. I always try and put the display side of my phone towards my body when it's in my pocket. In my mind it's less likely to get broken that way (although I'm sure that's not really true).

^ Even SFMM only having 2 trains on their rides is a rather new thing. Riddlers originally 3 or 4 trains. Scream I think has 3 (maybe 4?). Goliath is 3 or 4. Colossus is I think 4 (although at one point I think they had 6 or 8). Revolution has 3 or 4 (originally had more). I think Gold Rusher still has 3. Ninja has 3 (technically). Didn't X also have 3 when it first opened? I can't remember if Batman ever had more than 2 trains but I seem to remember they did have 3 when the ride first opened. It's only 2 now though.

^ The discussion about 3 trains had nothing to do with them running 3 trains at a time. I think everybody realizes running 3 trains on this ride would be impossible. The discussion of having a 3rd train was so you could always have 1 in rehab and run 2 trains. Just think if they had gotten a 3rd train for Apocalypse or if Knott's had gotten a 3rd train for Xcelerator.

I don't think Ninja would be impacted by the crane for LL:DOD. Maybe they are painting Tatsu. I'm sure the tunnel is considered a "block" but I don't think it would be possible in the case that there is a roll-back on the top hat portion. The train would have to clear the top hat before the next could be launched I'd think.

As others have said, these types of passes aren't for locals. I've NEVER used Flash pass at SFMM and have only used FastLane at Knott's for Haunt. Yet I've used Flash Pass at SFDK, SFOT, SFGAm, SFGAdv and SFOG. I've used FL at KD last year (didn't need it at Dorney). It's nice to know that when we finally get to CP this will be an option. Put it this way, with the new FL+ what would normally take 3 days at CP to do everything as many times as you'd like may only take 2 now. So in the long run it may actually end up SAVING you $$.
