Romon World to open in China
Gutterflower replied to _koppen's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just came across this pic of the outdoor section and the maurer. Love the roll through the building on the far side... even if everything is a bit orangy. -

Take a bobsleigh ride!
Gutterflower replied to Mickey_079's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
There is also one outside Riga in Latvia which you can ride. It cost about £50 or $75 to do a run and it lasts about a minute but it was certainly worth it. The forces are just insane. Didn't realise there were a few others you could have a go on so will certainly be aiming for them If I am ever in the right area. -

The latest park worlds magazine (seen here) has confirmed that Paulton Park in the UK will be adding a new Vekoma Junior Boomerang for the 2015 season. If you don't know Paultons Park it is a small park on the south coast which caters mainly towards families and children. Personally I think It's actually a lovely little park and this coaster is a perfect choice. They already have the excellent Gerstlauer bobsled Cobra and two zierer kids coasters. I've not actually ridden one of these yet but I hear good things.

Asian Park in the city of Da Nang, Vietnam is a new park under construction and has the mine train and roller skater from Hard Rock/Freestyle Music park on site already. It doesn't have its own thread yet but there are pictures under the Hard Rock thread. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=47373&start=2920 -
Asia Park in DaNang, Vietnam

I believe Time Machine is heading to Vietnam and I'd guess this same park. The other 2 I have no idea. I know Irvine Ondrey Engineering worked on sorting out the electrics on Roundabout but no idea if it was sold to the same place. -

Aha good spot. Hadn't realised that was the roller skater. So what's missing? The B&M, Premier and The suspended thing? -

There are also 2 pictures of the Jinan Cultural Heritage Park version too. The ride has a different layout but its tough to see much in the low res images. -

Following this forum post I wrote on possible parks in Vietnam the rides could be going to I have been keeping an eye on each of them and its paid off today. Turns out The Vekoma Mine Train previously known as Iron Horse/Eagles: Life In The Fast Lane has turned up at the under construction Asia Park in Da Nang. There is still plenty of construction on going and It’s possible if not extremely likely that some of the other rides will turn up soon including the B&M built Time Machine/Led Zeppelin. Source -

Here's some construction shots of the GG/M&V wooden coaster at the Fantawild Cultural Park in Wuhu. The inversion is hard to spot but it goes over the first drop and can bee seen on the left of the third image. Looks like it could be a cracking ride with some good airtime. Source -

A couple of questions about this 1) Can anyone figure out where the station might be? My first thoughts were at the upper side of the left hand trick track. 2) does anyone who's been to the park know where this could fit in? in my mind there is very little room inside the dome but I must be wrong. -

Dynamic Attractions teased their SFX coaster concept at this years IAAPA showing off an insane mix of media, coaster sections and surprise elements. They also announced the worlds first installation will be heading to Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi in 2015. Little is known about the ride specifics but I found out the ride has begun shipping to Abu Dhabi from a manufacturing facility in China (the same company that build Dinoconda and the Intamin U Shaped Coaster) and the track looks like nothing you’ve seen before. Looking like a triangular version of B&M box track it is massive. The layout can also be seen below and although it’s not 100% clear what each element is there are clearly at least 2 inversions and 2 trick track sections to look forwards to. Each of the 6 trains will hold 9 passengers. The ride will use linear synchronous motors for a maximum speed of 45 mph. There will be five separate launch sections while the indoor section will contain two large-screen 3D movie sections. Source -
