Hey Guys, I'm going to the park for the first time tomorrow, so I was wondering what to do and what times to do it. Also, how bad do the lines get on the coasters.

I would love to see a medium sized B&M Sitdown in that spot.

I noticed that too. On Sunday they had construction vehicles with dirt over there. I think it will probably just be more of the red zone rally, or who knows, it might be a tiny slingshot

I think they will probably announce the Vortex conversion in late October, about the same time they announced the planet snoopy expansion last year

I would love to see them name the floorless conversion "Valravn" just to see the reaction from all the Cedar Point fanboys

What would they name the conversion though.

Vortex is finally running two trains again.

Is anybody else heading to the park on Saturday. They're having a pass holder preview day for Boomerang Bay

They could easily have the ride hop over the midway into the mostly unused foresty area by the rapids ride and Top Gun's brake run. Yes they could, didn't even think about that. That being said, a Hyper would be nice. That would be awesome. I'm thinking a steep lift hill in the alley, and then the drop goes over/under the path, and then airtime hills over by the lake. They could probably remove the Rapids if they needed to. A launched coaster utilizing both sections would also be awesome

Does anybody think they can put the vest restraints on Vortex.

Does anybody know why FireFall was down all day on Saturday. I had lunch by it, and listened to Jackie Lee, and all it did was test. I noticed some squeaking sounds.

A megalite would look very nice there. I think they should just replace the stand-up trains and put in regular B&M sit down trains. A megalite would be nice in Grizzly's Spot.

If some of you haven't noticed yet, they've only been running one train on Vortex all season. When I asked a ride op why, he said that the train wasn't working right when they were testing it during the off season. I don't know what this will tell for the future.

My 5 year plan for California's Great America: 2016- Vortex's Stand-Up trains replaced with b&m sit down trains 2017-Windseeker in the Invertigarden. Grizzly or Demon removed. 2018- Chance Hyper Gtx added in either Grizzlys or Demons spot. 2019- Small improvements 2020- Lauched coaster replaces Rapids ride and uses area by Flight Deck

That's good, because I'm over all height requirements, but I'm still a minor

Is there an age requirement?

I just thought of maybe having a B&M or RMC Hyper coaster with a steep lift hill. They could remove Grizzly, and the picnic are behind it to get enough room, as RMC Hybrid's can have tall lift hills

I think that is what the height limit is because Dropzone is over 200 feet
