There would not be any steel spotted on site if it was just being retracted like thunder run was You do realize this is a steel structure with wood track right? Of course not... the ride was closed before you kids were born..

I sill cant help but think you guys are getting your hopes up. There is nothing so far to indicate that RMC's involvement is a complete overhaul of TS, it could be a refurbishment such as ThundeRun...I'm cautiously optimistic...

I would have loved to have rode Drachen Fire, it looked freakin awesome...I personally love Arrow loopers, they remind me of my childhood....

This was honestly great man, I found myself being sad on the third day, not wanting to leave and I wasn't even there, lol. I've yet to make the trip up to the Point but this was pretty much what I've seen in my head...

So you thought the owner of Kentucky Kingdom should disregard a major attraction based solely on your recommendation?!? Get over yourself, lol. Being a roller coaster enthusiast does not suddenly make you an authority on running a successful amusement park. Coaster enthusiasts make up maybe one percent of the people visiting amusement parks. For the average guest in Kentucky Kingdom T3 is the exact same ride as Banshee. It is a steel coaster that hangs bellow the track and it has inversions. They have no idea what the difference is between a Vekoma or a B&M....For the cost of a new train there would have been no bigger bang for their buck...

Kings Island used to have a set of speed slides - Fastracks - that the mat racer replaced. The tallest one used to scare me every time. Dang, I forgot about that bad boy...

It's in the terms of service and posting rules. I'm not concerned so much about your well being but the fact that you are not following the rules set by Robb is annoying. You son of a bitch... Seriously though, I remember the year before son of beast opened there was this large mechanical crate that the supposed son of beast was trapped in and it warned of the of the arrival of the coaster. It was pretty amazing...

I have no stance on the popularity of I305...the only point I'm trying to make is we are all coaster fans here, there is no need to be rude to each other. All of this shit is just fun.

I really don't think the trim cuts off as much speed as you think. The trim may not have even been activated on the test run. The helix comes directly after the airtime hill-- helices shave off a lot more speed than hills, combined with the fact that this helix is absolutely massive. Is it possible that the trim is there to act like a sensor? Perhaps once the train passes the trim the next train can be dispatched without E-stopping the train on the lift? The trim looks like it didn't do much, and is probably only there if the ride is really hauling. I think Fury 325 is gonna be a huge hit for Carowinds. I'm assuming you're talking about this one... [attachment=0]fury_trim.jpg[/attachment] All I can say is that I've never been on a B&M that has one of these trims where you couldn't feel it. Leviathan has TWO of these in fact... That's not to say it's going to cut down any enjoyment of the ride, and if anything, be happy there is only ONE of them on this coaster! Oh, what a load of bullshit. You say that like it's a "bad" thing. The GP eats that ride up like there is no tomorrow! Just go read the comments on our YouTube video. I've been at the park when the ride breaks down and people freak the hell out. And remember when the ride was down for a couple of months a few summers ago? KD's Facebook page was on FIRE with people wanting to know when it was back open. So don't try and imply that there is anything wrong with I305 because it kicks people A$$ across the state of Virginia. Way to be a total dick
