  1. Lets be honest. Is KD really going to build another extremely intense coaster? They already have arguably the most intense in the world, so why would they build another.
  2. The center of mass would effect the pace more then the heartline. As it has been said, the new trains that were not completely designed for this track create some problems, and it was a definite possibility that something like this was going to happen sometime in the first year. I'm sure that CP will do anything possible from preventing this again, but sometimes accidents happen, what can you do?
  3. Perhaps they are just shortening it to a single ride, single lift hill. I couldn't see them doing much else with how much material they are removing.
  4. With this ride, whatever it turns out to be, will be good for CP. $15M or not, it will be great. I'm done speculating. I am honestly just going to wait and see, because I think it will make it better that way.

  6. I just wasn't too sure, and I was assuming it will be 12 seat trains. I'm sure it really does not matter what the ties are like, as long as they hold the weight.
  7. Hold on, with the track sections, did anyone notice the face that the ties are not flat on the top? I'm not entirely sure if it actually means anything, but it's an interesting look. Vs. The track at the plant, which has the ties sloped. The Griffon straight track... I know the Griffon track has the sections connected with the sloped ties, however from this picture you can barely see that all the ties are sloped, not just the leading one.
  8. From an engineering standpoint, the larger box would mean to consider that they are holding up more weight. That could mean heavier trains, more track per support, or even both.
  9. Is the distance between the rails the same? Perhaps they are working on a track that needs less supports, that why they are so thick.
  10. Whatever it is, I trust CP and Cedar Fair. And B and M. All three are wizards.
  11. I am looking most looking forward to Wildfire, however it is very unlikely I will have a chance to ride it. That answer would be Twisted Twins RMC, or CP's new coaster (VALRAVN perhaps).
  12. Steel Son of Iron Mantis just off of Interstate 305 Speed Anaconda
  13. Does anyone think if they change the name, they will still stick with I-blank 305?
  14. That is amazing. I was not expecting that, but I guess I wasn't expecting a wooden shuttle either when they announced this. Is the structure still going to be turning on the spire, like in the videos?
  15. You would have to put it in the back, there is so little going on. I'd love to see a smaller, more intense version of the Banshee batwing, where the first track crosses over the second going in and coming out. As for a wing, I'd love to see the Demonic Knot from Flug der Dämonen. It is just such an interesting element.
  16. Has the rain been that bad? I live in Wi, so usually the rain we get here makes its way over to Ohio, however here we haven't had all that much rain this year, just spotty showers usually.
  17. Hi Robb, have you ever thought about creating a short show, audio or video, about your week or month in review? Where you visited, impressions of rides and parks, and just random things?
  18. Drachen Fire, a demolished coaster that used to call Busch Gardens Williamsburg home.
  19. I apologize for my childish comment. This is a serious issue that should not be met with humor. Something is wrong with the way this park is run, and something needs to change.
  20. It's definitely scary every time I go. I've seen support boards on Zeus loose, flopping when the train goes by. I refuse to go back there anymore after seeing all the poor maintenance. The owner of Mt. Olympus said this, "When I found out about the situation I told them I don't want that ride operating again until all new cables are put on the ride," owner Nick Laskaris says. How could you operate the ride with only one cable? And there was no inspection, no investigation? Thats sad.
  21. The problem is they keep loosing count of the accidents after the number reaches 4.
  22. Only thing that would be worse then that is "Dive Coaster 1"
