Nice to see they're building another funnel cake stand! Kind of interested in the placement though. But kind of intersting that they tweeted out this picture first though.... with a trail leading somewhere. Maybe it is just me, but does anyone else find it weird the way they assembled the MCBR underneath the supports that the MCBR will be above? It just seems to me like it would have been easier to assemble the MCBR close to it's location, but not underneath supports. Now when they go to raise it in place they will have to go around, and over the support above where the MCBR is sitting. Not trying to "be an engineer" here, or say that "they don't know what they are doing" when obviously they do know what they are doing, and there is a reason for the way they do everything that they do... I just find it odd the placement of the MCBR right now. That is all. I mean once they assemble the supports, the MCBR Does run right almost parallel to the lift, and there's some tight spaces in there for a crane, so they probably want to get it up and down all at once. The supports are assembled and ready to be put in place though.

Small update as work has progressed well on the new entrance! The Entrance for this will be by great wolf lodge and i think maybe that they might use the old south entrance as an exit along with the north exit........... Pure speculation.

No Need to fear about a new ride! They just tweeted about the thing that will go in its place (Judging by the demolition and everything)! The park is adding a new game to Rivertown called Soccer Challenge. If I do remember correctly, didnt they use to have A football game, a soccer game, and a baseball game in coney mall?

Is it possible we could maybe see the top and the right ten placed today ( at separate intervals) ? They are putting the one single support up for the right turn now. Plus the top and right turn are assembled (separately) and waiting.

^I think i read somewhere that Cedar Fair is going to try a winter even out in Cali, maybe California's Great america. AND if its a hit it could be moved to other parks. I wish my Home park would continue Winterfest (aka Kings Island).....Time will tell

Well the top of the coaster is soon to be in place! Possibly today or next week? The right turn is laying there waiting to be put up.

Basically It just depends on the person and what kind of ride they want and what coaster they are riding -Front seat for the views on some coasters -Backseat for a more forceful ride! I take front seat on Diamondback but backseat on Banshee

I have a gut feeling that next week. The top of the coaster could possibly be placed and installed??

Small little update! The framework for the north entrance toll booth is up! Meanwhile the south toll booth is in the process of demolition! Stay tuned for more updates. Tony just tweeted that another section of track will go into place today! Supports are now going up for it! Might be able to be viewed on Periscope. Is the Winter Chill Out a good thing to go to or should i wait for Coastermania? Im planning on doing coasterstock at my homepark so i might try to do a round trip to do both events whenever they are.

Personally im neutral about it because it is an amazing ride, just the drawbacks for me is the loudness of the ride and the shaking. But every good B&M Coaster has a rattle even my favorite all time B&M Banshee has a rattle now.

With all these 2016 talks, could we possibly see a new element, re tracking AND possibly new trains? Sounds a lot to ask for from Santa but if you have the money.....

If KI could do some things over the offseason, maybe do some touch up paints OR repaint stuff to make some more "eye candy" Not trying to sound Nit-picky but some sections of Vortex's lift look "burnt" and maybe they could paint Slingshot like Carowinds and CP's slingshot looks.

This honestly looks like we're "in the clouds". I LOVE the Pic! Maybe the next section of lift installed this week hopefully? I know they have all the sections I think over by the employee dorms.

I can agree with you on that! For anyone who has NEVER been to KI and they get there at opening, be sure to go back and hit FOF and Firehawk first. The ride is kind of in need of a new coat of paint in some places though. You can start to see a lot of green on the track. Also has anyone attended the ACE lunch at the park today? I didn't catch the signups for it and was wondering if anyone had snagged any pictures of construction so far.

Personally I really enjoyed gatekeeper. Some people might not like it because of the spread out elements are spread out. Nothing beats flying through not one but two walls. I'm still surprised we've only had 3 winged coasters in the US.

Honestly i think it will be the one with the bird pictured above.

Nice to see the Racers entrance has received a new coat of paint!

Also just to note the piece on display has been moved. HOPEFULLY, next week we could see lift pieces in place.
