OH TRUST ME. it looks like theirs some tree's saved. But looking at where the lift and turn around will be, there is ALOT of dirt and stumps. ALSO judging from where the prelift section is, the station assumes to be where the old funnel cake stand was. -

Photos of everything going on around the park on labor day of 2016, construction video to come soon. Im going to assume once the park is closed for winter, that the train tracks and station will moved in the direction towards the Eiffel Tower to incorporate the station for Mystic Timbers.................i wont be surprised if this doesn't happen. Entrance for haunt has been constructed. Love the way this looks. Hot Blooded will be returning this year! Ride / Haunt Graveyard pt.1 Ride/ Haunt graveyard pt.2 Sorority House entrance is up! New entrance and location for Backwoods Bayou, Cornstalkers will not be trutning this year. Indian skeletons? Exit to Backwoods Bayou Whats this through the trees? A Mystic Twig i think....................... Lets ride the train to find out Clearing near Tower 1 for white water and the left turn that goes behind the engine shed. Ello there Green Train, we're heading back to Rivertown Construction looking out at Lift hill, first drop and station location. old location of the funnel cake building. looking out towards the station location for Mystic Timbers -

Some pictures from the parks Twitter and Instagram, as construction is nearing White Water Canyon, White Waters Reservoir has been drained for construction. Also a picture of the new Haunt "Field of Dreams" coming in 2016! (photo was sent to me by a friend, received the picture literally out of nowhere) -

Soon. Very soon. #verticalconstruction ALSO would like to address a couple rumors I've been hearing. 1) no bin diamondback- personally hope this is true. Operations and capacity has gone down since the seat belts where added. 2) race For Your Alice Charlie Brown removal - not true by any means. If we where to be torn down the crew (which I am on) would have been notified already. They would've announced it already to. Photo cred to the parks Twitter -

As a worker at the park and I've talked to people from other rides. IM GLAD TRAIN AND CAROUSEL ARE THE ONLY RIDES OPEN. the last day in 2014, nothing was opened because it was like 20 degrees. 3/4 of the rides at Ki cannot operate under either 35 degrees or 45 degrees. We'll leave it at that. -

When you walk into work at your ride and you see robb walk by......................... Nice to see you guys yesterday and was jealous of my friend who was sent to Beast and you guys where there -
Hi guys! I recently had an off day and decided to trek on down to the good ol' Kentucky park for the first time. All i can say is, for a small park, the have some AMAZING rides, and a lot of firsts for some coaster enthusiasts. Good things about my visit: - Park looks really clean and tidy and really upkept - The two newest coasters where running GREAT, and T3 and Thunder Run where running good to, but T3 was a little painful. Bad things : -Poor quality of service overall throughout the park, especially to keep lines moving as quick as possible -Every coaster (except Thunder Run) was one train operation...... -STORM CHASER DID NOT OPEN TILL 3/4 INTO TE DAY My thoughts on the coasters -Storm Chaser: HOLY POOP this ride is insane! (insane is an UNDERSTATEMENT), Love the ejector airtime and everything. Although I have only rode one RMC, im falling in love with them Even though the ride didn't open till 3/4 into the day, and was one train operation, I'm pretty sure i waited for the front seat for 2 cycles. LOVED IT. -Lightning Run: Basically the same thing i said about Storm Chaser can be said here, although i waited 30 minutes for a ride on this.................. BUT loved the ejector airtime and outer banked turns. -Thunder Run: GREAT woodie for this park, I felt it was running really smooth and fast paced. -T3: Great layout but not a fun ride as i felt alot of rattle and jerkiness, but then again, this was my first SLC ever. -Roller Skater: Amazing coaster to start little kids off on. My time was limited, and i was going to go around and take more pictures and shoot some more offride footage of Storm chaser and Thudner run, but while in the waterpark, some @$$ hole decided " hey this green bag looks nice" and walked off with it, and we spent a good two hours looking for it. Thankfully and would like to praise the park's security staff, our bag was found with nothing missing out of it, and I retrieved my phone and camera. ALSO, i did tackle the Tallest body slide in north america and it was NERVE RACKING. Anyways enough blabbing heres some offride footage and pictures! (Camera has okay quality for videos) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prg4gyK4qMs&t=30s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeKwsu9Re4E&t=2s Well Hello there Did not ride this, i DO NOT DO DROP RIDES BUT.................I believe theres something back there that sparks my interest ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I thought it was Greezed Lightnign. But this looks fun to. "Airtime Heaven" Getting closer............... Eh More eh On a side note this was the first coaster i've ever rode with a sea serpent element. Oh? "NEW FOR 2017 DRAGSTER" But i think something else is actually running Oh i believe it is! But this puppy right here..... Is not But those hills though LOVED THIS COASTER, personally my number one out of all 5 I just had to. OMG Beauty before entering, Just a little photo for you R.I.P. Greezed Lightning, im still wondering why the park has the cars still.

I Will upload my pics and videos of construction so far, and announcement video, but THERE WILL BE ANOTHER ANNOUNCMENT IN AUGUST FOR SOMETHING ELSE COMING IN 2017. Literally shocked us all last night when Don said that this was one of two things coming for 2017. But overall, This is a great addition to the park, whether you love it or hate it. I may return to the park to work next year to try to work on the ride -

I was wondering the same thing, but maybe use Crypt as a queve line or station? the only way i see this as not being true is because they havent cleared everything out of there, at least i dont think they have. My prediction: GCI (Duh, the layout looks 95% GCI). Lift hill of 145 ft. Drop of 135 Multiple interactions with Train and WWC. Maybe some outerbanked turns? I love these on Stormchaser maybe GCI would add a couple. We already know how big this coaster is going to be since they've already started tearing up the old patch station from haunt, so i believe that location will be for the turn around. -

Since it's the main topic. Does anyone think we could see some vintage vortex logos, etc reappear next year for the rides 30th anniversary? I'd like one of the pins that the park sells for current and some past attractions. The ride and trains could really Need a REPAINT. -

I dont know how long it has been in the current state, but as i was walking to break yesterday, Zephyr is completely down. Like swings on ground, Top of the ride is literally almost on the ground. I Wonder if the same thing happened to it like SR&R, and Monster. If so i believe that it'll come back with a new LED Light system. Here's hoping. Ill have pics of the current ride status when i go as a guest on thursday! -

I don't think there is any need to worry about the flume being gone. Also i plan on being at the announcement and that night i will upload pictures and videos of the train ride through construction (which the retaining wall is being built there are boards added to it, and so many trees have been cut down i can see White Water Canyon's reservoir from the train station.) and the announcement! If anyones going to the announcement please PM me, would like to meet up with some TPR members for once. -

I will not post the picture but according to @27yankfan on instagram, a semi with LOTS OF WOOD was spotted in the parks parking lot. And from the looks of it, it looks like the wood is for track Also more of the giant I-Beams have been placed vertically along the train tracks. -

There's been rumors about it coming back since last year. I don't think it's just because of "Christmas in July" -

Pylons being placed, thanks to THE_BEASTmaster on KICentral for posting this picture. ALSO, what if we're all wrong and this coaster is not a GCI (I think it will be) and instead its a Gravity Group, since the company is located in Cincinnati.
