I was excited when reading the Buffalo News this morning where they said that this would replace Cuda Falls (drink) as I was thinking that this would finally put any speculation to bed. As far as the new slides go, how do these ride? I have ridden the basic mat racing slides and the ones at Soak City at CP although they don't have that "braided effect". I'm all for it as long as they don't ride like this God-Awful one at Kings Island. Theres a video a couple pages back. Ive caught air on one similar to the one you posted at Wet n' Wild.

Ill pat myself on the back for the Splashtown gate guess... The way I read the Buff News article, key word is "replaces", as in makes up for their removal, not necessarily their location. Because it also calls it Splashtown.

That looks like a great addition. 900 riders per hour is a lot too, 15 people per minute. I wonder where they intend to put it though, the only spots that look possible are between ROS and Brain Drain, or maybe the old Splashtown gate. Actually looks like it would fit Cuda Falls hill well or if they tore down the Spaghetti House.

The better question is does anyone care, because theyre not there now.

There was a whole bunch replaced and a trailer graveyard that those are coming from. The Twister trailers are still there. Twister Graveyard

I think Viper was green closer to 10 years than 20.

I drove by today and the track did look redder than it used to... but it couldve been the distance that made it look that way.

No those are buses. The camp trailers dont have green roofs or escape hatches.

These are trailers that have already been replaced. If you satellite map the campground, youll see the graveyard. A lot of them look like theyve been parted out to active trailers.

In case anyone was wondering where Cuda Falls went... Find Batman on Route 77 and go deeper off the road.
