Correction, Big Kahuna did open. Tornado did not. Monday they said it was a lack of lifeguards due to schools still being in session. I overheard that Boomerang was waiting on parts from overseas. Motocoaster had maintenance working on it. Ranger has yet to be open the 3 times ive been there so far. Overall the park looks in good shape though. Looks like the wet June curbed their plan to finish painting ME supports, many still werent done but its a good start.

Went today, park seemed clean and in good shape. All the paint looked fresh on the buildings. Didnt go down by ROS. The view from the Giant Wheel showed that the Cuda Falls splash pool was removed and filled in but Floodgate Falls remains a mosquito breeding ground. We were next in line for the Corn Popper when the ride op advised he had a brake problem and the ride would be shut down. It did take forever for it to come to a stop after the ride cycle. I saw them testing it after but didnt notice if it re-opened. My only peeve was that Haymaker took 10 minutes to load, only to ride for about 45 seconds because the ride op was the slowest ride op in the history of ever.

Yes. And we just got daily tickets up online! You can purchase at http://DarienLake.com/?keyword=daily%20tickets Any info on other park updates that arent related to the new rides? Well, in general, we've reached the part of the year where things are becoming really active inside the park. Some buildings are getting fresh paint, rides are getting re-assembled and inspected, merchandise is being stocked, new tech systems are coming online, ect. Truthfully, I'm not too up-to-date with everything simply because it's hard to get away from the desk and into the park this time of year. But every department is really working hard and kicking butt this year, and I have a good feeling about this season. I think I saw that a few former Dip 'n' Dot locations have returned, plus a new one, so be sure to stop by and ask them about our 2016 project. To be more specific, are any of the coasters getting long overdue paint that youve noticed or heard?

That could be a possibility if Premier and CNL play their cards right, we could an S&S El Looco, a Premier Rides compact launch coaster (possibly a clone of the Superman coaster at SFDK), a compact Gerstlauer Eurofighter, or a Gerstlauer spinning coaster in the future. Why did you repeat what he just said?
