SF added Tornado, Big Kahuna, Crocodule Isle and Hooks (as Premier) so they didnt totally ignore the water park. They also added Shipwreck Falls, although at the expense of 4 slides.

Yeah, I was thinking back up trains or parts too. No big deal. Besides, you dont want to throw them away until you get a working replacement.

I don't know either, but if you ask me I think Darien Lake should have gone with a Huss Enterprise ride instead of one made by Heintz Fahtze! Being the only one of its kind... Must be hard to get parts for it when it breaks down.. It has a lower capacity with only 16 cars vs 24, and I am sure that it doesn't lift as high as it used to. I am sure it went the full 90 degrees.. Ive noticed that the Skycoaster doesnt go up the full 180 ft anymore either.

If its still CNL and Premier next year I could see that happening and keeping with the 1 wet, 1 dry theme they had this year.

I saw Twister running when I was on the Ferris wheel (around 1:00) so it wasnt down all day. Thunder Rapids was closed all day though.

*she For what its worth, it seemed to me that the park ran better and looked cleaner this season more than ever. Just my two cents though. Ill probably be there on Sunday and on the lookout for any changes.

1. Why would a lack of Fright Fest mean theyre closing forever? Theres absolutely zero indication of that happening. 2. Halloween is not important to park ops.

Still pretty cheap to me, so the is hardly necessary in my opinion. Two hours down the road in a smaller park they sold them at $89.99 in 2015 and there were hardly any significant complaints. If my inside knowledge is correct, that price will increase in 2016 as well. Darien Lake has great value for an enthusiast with a Season Pass as I'm sure an enthusiast would use the pass 5+ times for a price less than two visits at full price. It was a somewhat sarcastic . Although as a family of four its costing me $80 more this year (youngest didnt need on this year)

Any mention of if the meal plan will be availible again?? Doesnt say.

Got my season pass renewal email... souvenir cup refills are $1.25 next year and the pass is $64.99, $59.99 last year.
