Yes, I think it's supposed to open on opening weekend and I have been checking on construction and it looks like that will happen. I know you didn't ask, but Stinger will not be open the first day because I heard it might try to open in the Summer.

I believe that cedar fair is done with the windseekers because they cause a lot of maintenance issues and I don't see them relocating another one for awhile. I have ridden one and it is nothing special I would much rather go to six flags and ride a reliable sky screamer.

Construction of the Smokehouse Barbecue is almost complete! Is it just me or does this look like an indoor restaurant which would be amazing since Dorney is really lacking in indoor food restaurants. Construction is almost complete!

Kings Island and Knotts definitely are going to be the next in line for a giga coaster, after that I really don't see them going into any other park since they are just to big and much too expensive for those other parks you mentioned. If Dorney didn't have any height restrictions then maybe I could see one there, but that park needs to focus on getting a GCI woodie. Worlds of fun is a nice sized park and has great potential, but again Giga's are just to expensive to go to these parks. Cedar Fair is just being reasonable and spending a lot of money on there big parks with coasters that are very expensive like banshee, Fury325, leviathan, and gatekeeper and spending a little money on there smaller park with cheaper coaster ( GCI woodies) like Renegade, Prowler, Goldstriker, and a future woodie to Dorney.

I meant coasters not coast, but I assumed people knew what I meant.

^ You have to keep in mind that Valleyfair isn't close to the top of the Cedar Fair chain so if they do decide to build a coaster it won't be huge and expensive like a wing rider or a flying coaster. RMC is out of the question at this point because if Cedar Fair did decide to put one on a coast they would put one at one of the big parks. The biggest bet right now is a pretty small invert like a flight deck.

I saw a post a couple days ago on Instagram (a local Dorney Park Fan) that showed Stingers trains are back on track! Also I see that no one said anything about the new minor addition of adding some very neat and educational history signs along the tracks of the Zephyr. You probably don't care, but people like me that have gone to Dorney since I was little are going to really appreciate looking back to the past and it is really thoughtful of Dorney to keep putting history back into this old park.

All American Thrill has spoted more parts for Cedar Creek Flyers! I love these flyers every time I went to Knoebels and Hershey I always hoped for it.Thank you cedar fair.

What year are we betting a " new" coaster will be coming to dorney. I'm hoping 2016 but something tells me Dorney is going to wait until 2017. Dorney usually gets a relocated coaster every 4 years so maybe a new coaster will take 5.GCI woodie

Oh I thought I heard something that cedar fair has a contract with the Dino's. I think the year was 2018 to be exact.

Speaking of Dinosaurs Alive when is the contract over with because I'd rather see something in its space. Im not saying its a bad attraction I just don't think I can go to see Dino's more then one time.

it hasn't been confirmed but it probably is from dorney since they got rid of there swan boats a year ago and cedar fair loves relocating rides since it saves money.

Maybe cedar fair is planning for us to get a "big" attraction in 2016 because we only got a slash pad and swan boats which which are both super cheap ( swan boats might even been relocated from dorney) we can only guess and dream at this point in time.

I know this is off subject but I was thinking with a fairly small and cheap attraction coming next year is it possible that dorney gets a " big" attraction in 2016 like a GCI woodie which would fit the budget range. The problem is the noise and the space to put it in.
