  1. Here's my guess: Hyena Falls in the future will take the place of Ottorongo. Because frankly, I can't stand Ottorongo anymore. Black slides are never a good idea in the summer heat.
  2. There's people out there. Money hungry and ready to dig in to a lawsuit.
  3. I don't want to be an donkeyhole or that guy, but I don't think he actually went to the park that day. I mean the report was great, but the pictures belong to various different people. A simple image search shows it.
  4. All I'm saying is, don't post a photo and claim you took it, it can get you in legal trouble.
  5. It's not a fight.. I love Liberty launch and it would have been nice to know it was open. The front sign lied to me!
  6. If I'm not mistaken, Liberty Launch was closed the day of the announcement. How do I know? I was there.
  7. Will was one of the most humble, kindest spirited person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. It's still saddening to know such a great, innovative, mind is no longer with us. :/
  8. So, I'm not the only one who responds with Turnips...
  9. My guess is that B&M Designed it and is having Intrasys supply the materials for what they (B&M) have designed.
  10. So, I think this is actually B&M's own launch. I've read the entire article on Coaster Net and it had a special paragraph just praising B&M for their first actual launch.
  11. "Nearly a decade ago, the late Will Koch began talks with Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) as part of his search for Holiday World’s first major steel roller coaster. B&M specializes in the delivery of custom-designed roller coasters, and Will knew this highly-regarded group of Swiss engineers would design a steel coaster like none other for his park. Continuing the park’s tradition of designing roller coaster thrills around Holiday World’s thickly wooded hills, B&M delivered a one-of-a-kind design for its first launched coaster and the nation’s first launched wing coaster, Thunderbird."
  12. I should have cropped it before posting. Was still bleary-eyed from the long announcement day and didn't scrutinize the way I usually would. I wouldn't worry about it! I mean if people actually bought a newspaper that day, would they get offended by it? I'm not offended or mad at you guys at all. It's a newspaper, you're going to see a diverse array of stories. Glad to see that track arrive from Clermont Steel!
  13. Especially when it "crashes" through the barn.
  14. I know, I saw the article below it and people are exploding about it.
  15. I just can't wait to get some great shots of Thunderbird towering over the cornfields in October and if people are offended by the Newspaper, blame the newspaper, not Holiday World. Bunch of morons will get offended over anything.
  16. At first I was a little hesitant with the name, but after learning the awesome backstory, The logo is now my wallpaper.
  17. I love Lightning Run, but Thunderbird is going to tear it apart.
  18. How are people complaining about it? I mean do you guys want an SLC?
  19. I sat at the very front on the ground right in front of the trash can, and when I saw the Thunderbird fly past and the orange track followed behind, it sent me into, complete, utter, shock and awe. Thank you for putting together such an amazing promotional and announcement Paula and the rest of the Holiday World team. That will be a night I will never forget.
