  1. In the video, I love the idea of making hotels and adding to it, and I love the idea of the holding area at coaster stations. I hope they take those suggestions into consideration.
  2. Pipeworks has said that the first part of the teaser trailer is live footage (Goliath at SFMM) and the last part of the trailer is in game assets that have been rendered. I know. I was just hoping the game was going to look like the small glimpse in the trailer because they park looked more realistic. Real theme parks don't have linear paths to everything. Anyway, I'll just use CS if possible... Which makes me wonder if we will be able to carry over our RCT3 CS sets to RCTW.
  3. Those coaster supports... And I liked this idea. It looks more like a real theme park here opposed to the recent screenshots. Oh well. I hope I can use some CS path covers.
  4. ^ The peeps in the Sci-Fi theme park pic look good. I hope we can make our own peeps.
  5. So... This in-game image is one of the following: 1.) False advertising 2.) There really is no grid in the game 3.) There is a grid, but you can turn objects and rides any angle you wish On another note, I hope we have the ability to make our own park mascots.
  6. CoasterCam is a given. It would be stupid if they didn't include it. Also in the Sci-Fi themed pic, you can kind of get a better look at a peep in the bottom left corner. Looks pretty good.
  7. ^ Those screenshots were interesting... The mascots seem to look a little bigger than the people. Also the paths, rides, and object placement look grid-like, which is fine, but I hope there will be more angles that we can turn and place an object. I would love to be able to build a coaster that starts with a diagonal station, as well as place thrill rides diagonally. As far as paths, I wish they'd follow some of those custom scenery path covers people made for RCT3. Those path covers made parks look very realistic. Speaking of which, I'm really hoping we'll be able to add custom scenery sets to RCTworld. I'm sure the game will have a lot to offer, but there are some custom scenery sets that are really awesome, and I can;t do without them. The main thing I'l hoping for is few limitations. RCT3 was awesome, but had some limitations that got on my nerves. I'm a little at ease about this because they said they played RCT 1-3. I'm hoping they took notes, as well as took into consideration what the fans requested back in 2010 on the Atari forums.
  8. Great finds, guys! Thanks! That screenshot looks awesome! I was looking at the peeps in the screen shot. They look good in terms of individual clothing styles. I wonder if we'll have the option to create our own peeps like in RCT3. Also, while the shops (like the blue house looking one) look realistic, I wonder if we'll have the option to build our own shops and buildings (and ride stations) from walls to ceiling like in RCT3. Being that there looks to be no grid I'm sort of doubting we'll be able to build our own buildings... But we'll see... I shouldn't be so quick to judge.
  9. Well, pictures are worth a thousand words, but videos leave people speechless. Even still, I'm looking forward to the screenshots. I'm also hoping someone uploads a video of the demo. Judging by the reactions, it seems like this game just might have been worth waiting 10 years for.
  10. I have heard RCT4M is free now, but I'm sure that doesn't mean no micro-transactions. I'm not against the RCTW online play. It sounds interesting. Just as long as the game doesn't rely on it.
  11. ^ I was sort of thinking the same thing. RCT4M came out in April. I won't be surprised if it comes out March or April. Ultimately I want this game to be done right.
  12. ^ Yeah. There wasn't much to go off of from that trailer. I really REALLY want to see more of the game... These next 4 months are going to be torture until the game comes out. By the way, "early 2015" means some time in January, right?
  13. ^ Oh shoot... very true. So it sounds like they barely started working on this game maybe earlier this year... That's sort of unsettling...
  14. ^ Thanks for the info. Looking forward to their presentation if it happens. Good to hear that Pipeworks is replying to the fans. Another thing I was wondering is about the online gameplay. I read that other players will be able to visit your park, and that you can assign other managers over your park online, and they'd have access to change things and build stuff. I think that's pretty cool. But if other people are visiting your park, I wonder if it'll be like Thrillville where you get to walk around as the person you made. If so, I think that'd be an awesome way to explore someone's park. Can't wait to find out more!
  15. ^ True, but there's also the possibility that they'll have RCT style food stands as well as realistic ones. It's too early to tell. I'm hoping for no paths and queues. Let the guess roam free and find the rides, and line up wherever the ride entrance is. I know that can be seen in the trailer, but we don't know if that was actually in-game footage.
  16. I'm hoping the same. If this game was really 10 years in the making it better be darn near perfect. I am aware that there is no such thing as a perfect game, but I can hope, right? On another note, I will always wonder why Atari made RCT3D and RCT4mobile. I know they were poor attempts at making cash-grab games, but they should've known better and done it with another franchise. I doubt Atari will ever explain why they crapped on the RCT franchise with those last two installments, but I hope they learned from their mistakes and do the right thing with RCTW. I can't wait to see actual RCTW screenshots and gameplay. That trailer failed to satisfy. And I wonder what they mean by "Early 2015"... I hoping that means sometime in January.
  17. I'm wondering if there will be expansion packs sold separately. I personally think they should just put everything in the game the first time around since we've waited for so long. But if they go the same route as RCT3, I might hold off on buying this game until they make a RCTW Platinum Edition that'll include all of the expansion packs.
  18. In the trailer they say "The best things in life are worth waiting for" so, with that statement, I'm going to assume they are going to do everything in their power to make this the RCT of our dreams. Also, does anyone else remember what they asked on the Atari forums years ago? "We would like to know what you'd like for the next RollerCoaster Tycoon for PC. What would make you rush out to buy it?" Many fans submitted their wishlists, so I'm going to assume they're going to do everything they can to please the fans, as well as keep it for PC only. Keeping it on PC makes sense to me since the series has always been for PC, and PCs aren't expensive to buy. It's like if a game is Playstation exclusive, but you have an Xbox. Just break down and by the system for the game if you really want it that bad. But I'm sure it won't have to come to that, and there will be a Steam download version to buy. There's not much to judge after seeing this trailer. Given the last two RCT installments, they should've went all out with this trailer. If they really wanted to sell us this game, they'd spoil us with lots of in-game footage and images to make a statement and a promise. Tell us that they know what the fans want, and promise that they're going to give it to them. I am excited because this doesn't feel like it's going to be crap like the last two RCT games, but only time will tell. This is Atari's last chance. I hope they don't screw it up.
  19. ^ Awesome Thanks. On another note, I finally got to ride Undertow. I thought it was fun, but all those brakes sort of killed the thrill. Is it better than Hurricane? In some ways, yes. But they should really let up on the brakes.
  20. I thought the Boardwalk had plans to extend the upper deck up over towards the Fright Walk. If they do that, they'll have room for more rides. I also think they should build a better facade for Ghost Blasters.
  21. Eh.. I don't know... I don't really like how they're cramming rides wherever they have a space. Makes them look desperate. Speedway and this new Kiddie Cruzers ride looks out of place and tacky.
  22. Yep. that's why I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade. Also there seems to be a new kiddie ride stuffed between the Sea Swings and Rock'N'Roll. Images by Nicholas Laschkewitsch
  23. I hope one day they give the Cave Train an upgrade. It has been 14 years since its remodel, and it's losing its edge.
  24. @Coasterfreak11 Thanks for the pic. I really hope they make a haunted house ride of some kind. Maybe even a Spook-A-Rama type of ride with random scenes and stuff.
