  1. If this is the case, is Darien Lake making an announcement soon?
  2. Hey Rob Alvey, do you hear new attraction announcements before they are public?
  3. Some guy named "RideOfSteel" on the Cedar Point forums said that Mantis is being relocated to Darien Lake next year. I call bullshit on this one, observe. BULLSHIT!
  4. Firstly, Ranger is NOT closing (I asked on facebook and Darien denied plans of removal) Also here is a fanfic- I was at Darien Lake one day when the CEO of CNL income properties was siting at a table. This person was really enjoying a snack, making snarf and grunting noises. When I looked closer I noticed that there was solid waste (that means poopoo) on his plate. Mr.CEO of CNL loves poop . So I asked "Are you enjoying this wonderful day?" The poop eater replies "GGRRRrrrRRROWL!GrrRowl! NAH! I wan' money!" There he goes, CEO of CNL income properties, crawling on all fours eating the children of park guests and their poop.Creepy little man THE END
  5. Most likely, It's going to a Chimelong operated park (in China). Not like they haven't purchased from B/M before (Fly Through The Rainforest and Dive Coaster). Also, we know that (at the same ohio B/M plant) that the Orange track is heading to Holiday World (Thunderbird) white for Gardaland's diving coaster ,Carowind's Roman themed coaster is most likely the blue (why would they paint a Roman themed coaster yellow?). So unless there is another future announcement, my gut is telling me some place in China is receiving the yellow coaster.
  6. Sorry about the delay .... anyways I said I would so here it is. Scrambler's power box is in, nothing else. Literally, nothing, not even a concrete slab. A lone power box among dirt.
  7. I'm going today! I can't take pictures unfortunately, but I was thinking that when I get back I can update you all with progress on the Scrambler's return. Does that sound goody-goody to you people?
  8. Then again, so new coaster where Cuda once stood and return of Scrambler for 2015?
  9. The location to the left of Twister seems very nice for Scrambler's return
  10. Hey horootle, did you mean Darien Lake by that statement of "A medium park in the North East"?
  11. So then.... a Mystery Mine almostbutnotexact clone for 2015 at Darien? It would help Darien Lake's transition of becoming a "Hershcend Standard" park, and a project of that size could fit in the old Cuda Falls site and the space behind it. Do you guys think this is possible?
  12. Hey shavethewhales, not only would an August 1st announcement give them plenty of time to build, but the old Cuda Falls site (the big dirt pile) is an eyesore demanding some use. And the space behind the Cuda Falls site could also be used. There is room, there is time.
  13. Is the August 1st announcement going to involve a project at Darien Lake? An inverting "Lake Monster" woodie has been planned for some time as far as I know, and Skyline Attractions seems like a company who could possibly design this sort of coaster. Not only is the company backed by veterans of GCI, who specializes in wooden roller coasters, but also the new Skyline Attractions company seems to be willing to be the "progressive" type of designer. A perfect form of competition against RMC. Think about it, Darien sends out the proposal in 2013 to random guests (who then posted it online) so CLEARLY they have been planning the Lake Monster concept. The concept could also be a good way to launch Skyline Attractions into the manufacturing market. A win-win for both players! So, is it possible?
  14. Do any of you think that the newly formed "Skyline Attractions" can possibly be involved with Darien Lake's new ride next season (2015)? I myself wonder if Darien Lake could be mentioned on the 1st of August (If you read about Skyline Attractions, they are announcing their first project on August the 1st). Could it happen?
