1. I encourage everyone on this forum to go out in public and proclaim your true identity, three ducks in a man suit. I felt like posting something random
2. I have a question for you and your "sources". Is Darien Lake being sold before 2016? If so, who and what are thier plans?
3. What would be especially interesting to know is what would replace Ranger if it leaves. I think it would be nice to see a 200 ft Intamin drop tower or a zamperla discovery in there. Doubt it would be a drop tower with Blast Off already there. I think it is different enough from Blast Off.

5. I was at the park today, so I'll do a quick update. The park was almost dead in terms of crowds (most likely because it was a Monday). The Mind Eraser repaint seems to be going well. The majority of the supports (not all) have been repainted, but none of the track yet. Rolling Thunder was running rather well. Brain Drain's skybox launch system is amazing .
6. The new owners of Elitch Gardens kept Premier to operate the park for them.
7. I recently heard that Elitch Gardens was sold by CNL, but to another investment company. It seems that the predictions made earlier by that one guy on this forum (I forgot who he exactly was) about CNL selling off the majority of their amusement properties may be true. I will admit that if Darien Lake is next, I certainly hope it is not sold to another investment group like what happened at Elitch Gardens. I personally wish that either Premier fully takes over the park or another operator buys the entire property. On a side note, I am very glad to see that Mind Eraser is being repainted.
8. That does not look like it would fit in the spot where Ranger is. It still looks fun though. Maybe put it in where the now abandoned old haunt walk-through building is?
9. That, and Ride Of Steel is often rated higher than it's clone in Maryland.
10. Wow, I actually almost asked the dip'n'dots people that . Thank goodness I didn't then. Would you mind giving any hints on 2016 yourself, Doug? Anyways, I was also there opening day. All rides (except water park) were open. Motocoaster and Boomerang broke down at some point. I know Boomerang was fixed, but I didn't stay long enough to see if Motocoaster was fixed. No coasters had two trains. Despite seeming smoother last year, Predator has gotten rougher again. Rolling Thunder surprised me quite a bit. It was a lot more intense (and fun) than I thought it would be. If any of you folks have also been to Seabreeze, Rolling Thunder feels like Screaming Eagle, but much faster. When Rolling Thunder bottomed out at full speed, I actually felt myself being pressed down a bit. Much better than both Screaming Eagle and Ranger. Nice job Larson .
11. I'm going tomorrow, so I can inform you folks. I may also take on Doug's suggestion to everyone on the forum to ask one of the dip-n-dots kiosks about the 2016 project.
12. Maybe Premier picked up the Lake Monster Project from Herschend? Or maybe it is a smaller sized B&M (like Nitro at Adlabs Imagica)? Or a Premier (rides) launch coaster? Anyone else have ideas on what could be the teased project?
13. Yes. And we just got daily tickets up online! You can purchase at http://DarienLake.com/?keyword=daily%20tickets Any info on other park updates that arent related to the new rides? Well, in general, we've reached the part of the year where things are becoming really active inside the park. Some buildings are getting fresh paint, rides are getting re-assembled and inspected, merchandise is being stocked, new tech systems are coming online, ect. Truthfully, I'm not too up-to-date with everything simply because it's hard to get away from the desk and into the park this time of year. But every department is really working hard and kicking butt this year, and I have a good feeling about this season. I think I saw that a few former Dip 'n' Dot locations have returned, plus a new one, so be sure to stop by and ask them about our 2016 project. Edit : (Sorry, my computer did something weird and I accidentally double posted)

Interesting to see that Darien Lake is already teasing a 2016 project. Are you allowed to give any hints about any of the characteristics of this project?
15. Nice Instagram today, we can almost see your nose hairs You should see the outtakes... Lol! Doug, is there any talk around running rides with two trains? Going to defer answering this question for now. That doesn't mean "no" though! Expect an update soon. Anyway, here's a construction photo to tie you guys over. Steel should start flying today. And check out our Facebook and Twitter for some fiberglass action this afternoon. Nice picture . Will Brain Drain have a separate queue, or will Brain Drain's queue be connected to the queue for Swirl City?
16. I feel that Rolling Thunder's color scheme is nice. While I am thinking of paint, have you heard anything about Mind Eraser and/or Ride Of Steel being repainted soon, Doug?
17. Has anyone else here seen the test run video of Rolling Thunder that Darien Lake posted on thier Facebook page? Looks fun.
18. Everland (South Korea) has been known to abuse their resident Eagle (Fortress).
19. If Eagle Fortress was a real Eagle and not a coaster...
20. River Country (Walt DIsney World) looks much more "backwoods" now. Trees and algae everywhere, nasty and un-kept bathrooms and the sound of banjos playing (which is still over the speakers despite being abandoned, for some reason).
21. Blackpool Pleasure Beach has a water park that uses black water.
22. But the easter bunny is a hateful nazi. Not such a happy easter. I wish for a glass of Mountain Dew soda. With a side of wings. yes
23. hunrvfywrefgn4tw6gbuy80nwrvyurtnvuin0w. What is worse than a nazi horse?
24. Then Gardaland was bought by a Unicorn that hates theme park food, so the land is redeveloped into a giant P.F. Chang's. I wish that Half Life 3 was released by now and that the game was about Gordan Freeman battling a big, GIANT chicken.
