I actually think Valleyfair has pretty good coasters. Renegade and Steel Venom are really fun in my opinion, and Wild Thing is an awesome roller coaster. It's got the longest air time hill, and it's taller, faster, and longer than Magnum XL 200. I could see Excalibur being removed for a new coaster, but they would need to really open up the park back there. I mean who wants to walk all the way to the very back of the park to ride the new coaster? It's a terrible place for a coaster in my opinion. They would need to somehow open up the back of the park, and maybe put some flat rides there, or remove thunder canyon to make the back of the park more spacious. I really wish a levee would have been built along the Minnesota river awhile back. If the back of the park didn't flood so much they could do so much with it.

Let's talk Water Park. I know we are probably going to get a new slide complex in the IMAX plot, but what else do you think we will get with it? There is a nice chunk of land on the HrdroHill, but what could go there?

It would be cool if they announced the new Haunt attractions and the waterpark expansion on the same day. I'm hoping around August 15th?

OMG. You can see this clearly from high rollers lift hill! Look out too the left and you will see it. I saw this a while back but I didn't think it was anything important. But I guess it is! Oops. And definetly looks like a new haunt structure maybe. Can't be sure though.

^^^ Does pushing for something unique mean that he is trying to get cedar fair to let us build a unique new Rollercoaster? If so that's great!! I REALLY Hope We do get Something unlike any other coaster. That would be amazing for VF. And also I am excited for the waterpark expansion. He might as well just tell us now because we all already know it's coming lol.

I think that we need an invert at around the price tag of 18-20m. We do really need one, I mean Valleyfair has awesome coasters and all, but we need a great steel invert as our ninth coaster. That would definetly attract more people to our park, and with this significant growth being labeled on our park, I don't think it ms unreasonable at all. I mean carowinds is most likely getting a GigaCoaster for 2015, so I hope 2016 is our turn to show off a new coaster.

Lol I know that they won't be relocated, but if ValleyFair were to get a clone of one of them. Suprisingly, afterburn only costs 10.5m, which is odd because both Patriot and talon cost more, but I heard afterburn is the better ride.

If you guys had to pick one coaster to come to Valleyfair, would you choose Patriot, Talon, or Afterburn??

^^ Yeah I think I made him mad since I accused him of hating on the park. But whatever. And I'm excited for 2015. I really think something big is coming to Soak City. And I really hope 2016 is the year for our next coaster. B&M INVERT PLEASE

I would love to get something like Dimondback, but since we have wild thing I don't see that happening. A GigaCoaster would be amazing, but we have a height restriction, and Valleyfair is not a big enough park for one. Maybe one day in like 20 years when gigas are as common as hypers, but not anytime soon. I am really waiting for this invert though, I mean it's like the one thing that Valleyfair needs most. I would like to see something a little bigger than falcon or patriot, but obviously not as big as like Banshee.

When Valleyfair gets its new coaster, I hope they name it something awesome. All of their coasters have awesome names right now. We probably have some of the best coaster names in my opinion. ( Wild Thing, Renegade, Excalibur, Steel Venom). I just hope the new coasters name won't be cheesy or anything.

Would anyone here trade Mean Streak for something like Renegade at ValleyFair?

Wild Thing at ValleyFair

Just got back from Valleyfair, saw some markings by the previous Hydroblaster spot, but nothing else new than before. While I was in line for Steel Venom, something went wrong with the tubing or something in the track causing everyone to evacuate. Don't know if it's back up or not. Power Tower had a long wait at the top again. Anyways it was a pretty fun day.

Very excited for the August announcements this year. It's kinda like Christmas to see what all the park's are getting each year Hopefully we get the waterpark expansion, and I'm looking forward to what Carowinds is getting. I'm hearing a GigaCoaster called Fury325. With their teaser being the "8th wonder if the world." And Cedar Point and Kings Island will probably get some normal expansion or general improvements.

^ I know right! In that commercial there was a B&M inverted coaster, and something that looked like a Leviathan. Valleyfair doesn't have either of those, and we all know that lol.

Man, that must have been really exciting back then when they announced wild thing. I heard that when it opened, it was the 6th or 7th tallest roller coasters in the world.

*New Topic* I just saw a new Valleyfair commercial air on TV. It was different than usual because they really advertised Soak City. They were saying "two parks for the price of one". So they're calling Soak City a whole different park. This sounds a little crazy, but maybe this is suppose to advertise Soak City to make it more of a big deal, and maybe this has to do with the expansion coming next year.

^^ well I think your just downing on the park. If every other cedar fair park have an inverted coaster, including the smaller Michigan's Adventure, I'm sure that one will be coming to Valleyfair. They were marked for significant growth and expansion, so I don't see how you can say they won't be getting much in the future.

The expansion Carowinds is getting totals at $50m. This makes them the 4th largest park on the chain. I really think if ValleyFair puts in a huge waterpark expansion and a new kickin B&M inverted coaster, I really do think that their attendance and renevue will go up quite a bit. I really hope the future is bright for Valleyfair since they are one of the park's for "significant growth and expansion".

Does anyone else think that Carowinds is getting a GigaCoaster in 2015? It sure does look like it. Do you think Carowinds is a big enough park for one? They are getting a really huge expansion and I'm kinda jealous. 50 Million I heard. I wish they would spend that much on Valleyfair.
