^^^ please I would really appreciate it if someone got photos of the footers and markings. We could then use those to speculate where a new slide complex would go, and also find out if anything more than just slides are coming next year.

^^^^ I went to VF on the fourth last year, and the fireworks were the best ones I have ever seen!! The show is a lot longer than usual, and they use a lot bigger fireworks than normal operating days. I would highly recommend you go see them.

That's a bit surprising to hear them planting pine trees there, but if the top of a slide complex is built high enough, they can probably still fit one there. If nothing does go there, then I guess the old Hydroblaster spot would be the best bet. Off topic question, but to anyone that has visited recently, have they started displaying wait times on FunTV yet? The last time I was at the park was two-and-a-half weeks ago, and they still didn't have them up. If they're still not up, then maybe we just shouldn't expect them at all. On the matter of FunTV, I do think that it has so far been a good addition to the park. The music videos and park trivia are good content, but the things that bug me the most are those "Reason insert number here to have a Gold Pass" commercials. No, they have not added them to fun TV, which honestly is kinda dissapointing.

Just got back from the park! I have quite a bit of info to share with you guys. First off, the park has never looked better, they have added a lot of flags and trees/bushes since opening day, and while I was there it was announced over the speakers that Renegade was now open, and everyone cheered haha. One thing I found interesting was that when riding Power Tower, the wait at the top of the tower was MUCH longer than before. While we were at the top I kept waiting for it to drop, but it took forever! Gave me a nice long view of the flooding. Another thing I found interesting was that there was a new procedure that the workers said before every ride started, kinda strange but I think it has to do with safety. The parking lot is almost completely not flooded anymore, but there is still a big chunk of it that is, which worries me because on the 4th, usually the whole parking lot is in use. Alot of people are going to have to park in the nearby feild. Also, people were hard at work on the railroad. One last thing, valleyfair have planted some pine trees in the former IMAX area, which got me a bit confused. I hope there is still enough room with the trees there too expand the waterpark.

I will be visiting the park on Thursday, and I'm really excited to see if we have made any progress on the flooding. I really hope that Renegade and Excalibur are running by Thursday, if not though, it's not going to stop me from visiting my home park. Also, I'm excited to do some more looking around the park for markings and stuff like that. I'll take some pictures if I find anything good, and post them on here. I'll also keep you guys updated on the flooding.

^^ With all the markings around the park including the ones by Excalibur, I think something big is going to be announced, probably the WP expansion, but I think that more than just that will be announced due to the markings by the Amphitheater and the missing track on the railroad.

Hello, I am new to this thread, but I live 20 minutes from VF and I absolutely love this park. I ran into Frazier last time I Visited the park, and He Was very kind with me. I think he is a great GM and will give this park so much in the coming years. And on that topic, a water park expansion is quite obvious for next year. And I believe that 2016 will definitely be the year for a new major coaster! I really want a B&M inverted coaster, and feel it will be a big hit for Valleyfair. And while reading the article about the 3 parks due for significant growth, I saw the writer say "heavy expansion" will be coming to VF. I hope this is true, and I'm extremely excited for the park's future!
