Does anyone know if we will be receiving a slingshot in 2015 along with the expansion, or will it come in 2016 or 2017? I know Cedar Point and Carowinds have one. Sorry if we already discussed this.

You people think I'm lying!? If two teenage boys think it's okay to spit on people at parks, they deserve to be kicked out. I wasn't just going to let them get away with that kind of behavior. Security listened to me and agreed with me that what they did was wrong. There is no reason they should spit on people on rides, and then get away with it to probably go do it again.

Have you ever been spit on while riding a roller coaster? Once, I was riding Renegade and these two little boys thought it would be funny to spit on the ride. Hit me in the face 3 times! So I kept my eye on them and when I got off I ran after them, caught them, and grabbed them. I brought them ALL the way to the front gate and told security. Their parents had to come and pick them up.

Hey, I have an idea. Why don't Cedar Fair take this $15M Dive coaster and put it in a park that needs it. Like, umm idk VALLEYFAIR?

I drove past Valleyfair on the way back from my aunts house late Christmas Eve night, the sky was lit up from city lights, and I just love the way wild thing looks from the road.

^ Valleyfair doesn't have a B&M. At least not YET.

This really needs to happen. The amount of space it would open up is massive. They could easily transform the front gate and the whole front of the park. Also, they could easily fit a B&M Invert along with the new gate.

^He's not looking to be the center of attention, he's just sharing with us the things Mr. Frazier tells him, and probably just trying to pass time over the off season since there really isn't much to talk or speculate about.

April...rain? What could April mean. Something happened in April that has to do with 2016? Teasing will start in April? It can't be announced in April, nothing ever gets announced during that month.

^ That's what I meant when I said that I would love to see a winter POV of Wild Thing, but someone said that's impossible because the trains were taken off. So there is still one on, and it could be because they are going to film a POV before winter.

Who else wants to see a POV of Wild Thing with the snow on the tracks?! That would be awesome!

The Renegade POV is up on Valleyfair's YouTube. It is quite shaky unfortunately though, but it's still better than any other Renegade POV out there.

^Actually a lot of people care about his clue, it's fun to speculate and try to figure these things out while we wait over the off season. There's no reason to be rude about it dude. Looks like they are digging holes for the slide structure? I'm not sure what it is but construction is continuing for 2015!

^I'm hoping 2016 is the year we get our coaster, so I'm guessing that 2017 or 2018 will include Route 76 expansions and new flat rides throughout the park.

I happen to be a straight A student who just loves roller coasters and VF happens to be my home park. If we want to speculate about a coaster coming in 2016, we can. And you have no idea if one is coming or not. What if we do get one in 2016? You sure might feel a bit stupid. Please, just go away. We all don't want you on here if your going to be like this.

This is so stupid. If Valleyfair wants to add a new coaster to their line up, THEY WILL. All of you people saying that valleyfair needs more "traffic flow and better bathrooms" need to shutup and go away. It's ridiculous. The plans for 2016 are most likely already confirmed by Cedar Fair, so you posting on here isn't going to change the plans. Please, just stop arguing. It's pointless, and I've never seen some of you people post on this thread before, so there must be something wrong with your attitude or whatever. END OF DISCUSSION.

First of all, I wouldn't say VF is a "family park", we do have quite a few thrill rides such as Wild Thing, Steel Venom, Xtreme Swings, Renegade etc. And the water slide package coming in 2015 is definitely NOT geared towards families. The slides are what 90 foot tall drop slides? What little kid is going to want to go on that? The park has addressed the things that needed to be done (Planet Snoopy, Route 76, Dinos, Waterpark Expansion ect.) And it's time for a new coaster. Roller coasters are a huge part of what bring people to the park, and I agree that families are a big part of it, but also there are alot of teenagers like myself who get dropped off at the park, and we love coasters more than anything. So I'm just saying that bathrooms and more restaurants are nice, but it's got nothing to do with getting a new coaster. I believe, along with many other people that 2016 is the year for a new coaster. It's also the 40th Anniversary of the park, so that makes it even more believable that a coaster could be coming in 2016. I could be wrong, but I'm sticking to my thoughts, 2016 must be the year.

I honestly don't know if that is possible without any sort of hint garyman. Let's look at all the clues we already have. 1. Kings Island Banshee 2. Maybe something to do with an Avalanche I think that's all we have right now.

I don't see WOF getting anything major in 2016. Maybe a flat ride or an upgraded family edition. Don't get me wrong, it's possible for the park to get something major, but I don't see it happening in 2016. I only think this because Valleyfair is right on the line for a major coaster in 2016, along with Canada Wonderland. I just don't see all 3 of these parks getting major coasters for 2016. CW already has major land clearings and Valleyfair's GM is hinting at 2016, also someone on the VF thread is sitting on a rumor for 2016 from a reliable source. Maybe 2017 is for WOF but if I were to give it my best guess I would say 2016 is the year for Valleyfair and Canada's Wonderland.
