Exactly. Taking it out would be a bad move just to build a path. I believe that they could squeeze a path in if they wanted to though. White water canyon is great!

Agreed^^. I actually like the rapids. Wouldn't mind it being a little longer though. I always get wet on it.

The park would look a lot better if they scrapped Batwing, hid the old path to it and just made Superman the back of the park. Unfortunately Batwing is a big draw so this would never happen but it just looks ridiculous and it makes the path layout a complete train wreck. Scrapping Batwing would be a bad move. Folks love that ride.

I actually didn't think Apocalypse was that bad but I didn't go into it expecting much either. Plus I braced myself for the headbanging. It was just another credit. Batsh*t was the one that I expected a little more out of. I for one like Batwing. I honestly do not see the problem with it. Every time people get off, they are grinning ear to ear.

PLENTY of security, but not so much where it is excessive. Plenty of families there last night. Quite a few people in the park yesterday. Apocalypse actually had people down the stairs and around the bottom. Line for JJ was ridiculous.

They've added two bring a friend free days this weekend. Hurting for people to come in after the shenanigans two weeks ago. The bring a friend free messed up things last time.....probably.

Where'd u see the 5 fights? According to their official press release and 4 others that went, there were '0'. I'm not including the one in the parking lot. I'm focusing my attention inside the park. Not saying that there were none, but I had a pretty good experience on Saturday. The stunt show was a lot better than last years too. I caught it! Thought I was going crazy. One reason it was so packed was because it was bring a friend free. Following weekends shouldn't be as bad. I like what they did to curve line cutting too (put a guy where he could see 'most' everything). How much u wanna bet that one poster didn't even go. He may have been looking at social media where things were blown out of proportion.

? I was there. Had a good time. I've seen fights at many parks over many years. No where else is different, especially during fright fest. I saw a drag out battle at BG last year in front of Alpengeist. By the way, there was no 'big fight' in the park. I saw or heard of no big fight. (Not that I was everywhere at once ) I also just checked the news to validate. The only problem was something in the parking lot with one person. Still, I wouldn't doubt if there was a fight or two. It was pretty rowdy last night. It probably will b better next weekend. This weekend was bring a friend for free. Usually more crowded on those weekends.

They didn't do a train last year. All but one of the mazes were awesome. I can't remember where I saw the article, but the outdoor maze 'Haunting of Eleanor 'won best amusement park maze on the east coast in 2013. I'm going to look for the site again. It was a newspaper article.

You are right. Not only is it football season,and the Nats and O's in the playoff hunt, it was the home opener for the Skins @ 1 p.m. Sunday had to be very empty.
