  1. I agree but we need a headliner to compete with other parks in the east. Hershey and Carowinds have more coasters than we do. Hershey is a great experience without rides but Carowinds getting Fury could potentially cause people to go there instead of here. While the park needs improvement it needs to get a new headliner as well
  2. ^ Probably the trees. The state would probably dislike the removal of so many. Although it is a great idea and would be an awesome addition the state will find some way to deny it.
  3. ^That is true but we're one of the huge parks. We are in one of the most populous areas in the country. SFA and SFSTL are parks that aren't as big and in turn aren't in big need of a coaster. Plus spacing is an issue (La Ronde) that isn't a big problem here
  4. Yeah we do. It's been almost 9 years since our last great coaster. Since then we've got a crap wild mouse and a painful stand up. We need something huge to bring in crowds. In 2017-2019 we could get overall improvements and maybe a flat or two. Then possibly a hotel by 2020.
  5. ^ I agree. I have a feeling we aren't getting a coaster for at least 2 years unfortunately
  6. My guess is 2016 will bring a new kiddie carousel in the seaport. But of course it will be advertised as a coaster
  7. White girl
  8. Superman had been like that for days. Same thing with RMT. But crowds are going to light now since school starts tomorrow
  9. The clues pointed to namtaB coming here. 1993 backwards was too obvious. It has to be the state
  10. The state probably didn't approve it. I think we were all looking forward to it. I hope they announce it later
  11. ^ It would work if it was a coaster. But it's a flat and everyone knows it
  12. So I went to the park last night and it was surprisingly not too crowded for a Friday night. My brother and I got on just about everything except Ka because it was about an hour wait (not worth it). Lines weren't too long other than that. The Nitro crew was working their butts off. I was surprised to see the Toro crew being sluggish. That may also be because of the five or so trains where people had to take the walk of shame. The Bizarro crew.... was the Bizarro crew. Double stacking every run and that didn't help the half hour wait. Either way it was a fun trip and I had to laugh because Sky Screamer lights on the tower were close to burning out. Nitro- It's impossible not to love this ride. The line was short and Train C must've been fixed. It was the another I've ridden it all year. 8/10 Zumanjaro- We got on just after it broke down so it was about 15 minutes. Riding this when it's dark is a whole new experience. It's much better than in the daytime. 7/10 Toro- Does this really need an evaluation? 10/10 Bizarro- Two surprises on this ride. First, it actually had a wait. I'm glad it's getting the popularity it deserves. Second, the mist by the corkscrews was working. It's the first I'd seen it work this year. Smooth ride, best looping coaster in the park imo. 8/10 Superman was closed and Green Lantern is a turd so we went to Batman. Batman- My favorite invert. Better than Raptor and Alpengeist. Montu is pretty close though. This ride totally kicked a$$. It was so smooth and forceful. My brother said it was rough, so he obviously can't handle intense rides. What made it even better was that it was a walk on. I love this ride. 7/10 Overall, the trip was very fun and I can't wait to go again before school starts. Also, there's a petition trying to stop the addition of Looping Dragon. https://www.change.org/p/six-flags-great-adventure-don-t-give-us-looping-dragon I think this is getting a little out of hand
  13. So I just got off Nitro on the C train. It must be fixed since it's very smooth. Not glass smooth but a much smoother ride than the A train. Either it was fixed or just had a good day
  14. Who said 2000? 2006 was the last major year for the park
  15. Even though we are getting crap next year, in turn 2016 should bring something amazing. Hopefully
  16. ^^I love how we're more excited for something that may not even be coming rather than the announced ride
  17. While it is good they are using RT's old spot this is just a waste. It IS NOT a coaster but SFI is marketing all of them as a coaster. My last complaint is the placement. Shouldn't it be PDC themed? In the GK would've been a better placement option. And the announcement said nothing about namtaB
  18. Apparently there's something like 4 or 5 Super Loops going to SF parks. Looks like there is a package with Larson.
  19. ^Actually I heard it'll open on the 28th. Coincidence? Probably.
  20. Does anyone think it's strange that it's being marketed as the twelfth coaster? We have twelve already. That could just be a typo or (hopefully) it's fake
