  1. I'm going to the park tomorrow for my first time like I said a few pages back, but are there any coasters that a decently large person can be kicked off of? Like with El Toro if you are too big, you might have to take the "walk of shame". Are there any rides at SFNE like that?
  2. Oh yeah you're right. My mistake sorry
  3. Also Thunder Dolphin and the Mega-Lites.
  4. Honestly I'm underwhelmed but still it'll be a great ride (hopefully). I would've thought that since it's been 10 years since our last headliner, we would've gotten something huge. This isn't really huge but it's still something thrilling that I'll ride. And for whoever said the enthusiast name, it should be TWW (Twister With Wheels)
  5. There is still a possibility it is faked, though. I've given up hope and if we get one I'll take advantage of shorter Toro lines, but there is no credible source too. The only thing to do is wait 6 more hours.
  6. I still think this is fake. Other people could use that animation style to create a fake video. Something just doesn't seem right to me.
  7. I mean... it's SOMETHING.... something awful that will have huge lines but.... something nonetheless...
  8. It's from the same Youtube account and website. I do not find this credible and I call fake.
  9. Probably faked. Doesn't have the statistics like SF usually does with new major attractions. Plus it said "Total Mayhem 4D Free Fly Coaster". I don't think they'd get the model wrong
  10. Name it Sir Puke and have Stevie Wonder promote it.
  11. It's not so much the ride for me. It's the location. Wasting the wonderful lakefront for a ride they could really make room for anywhere else, and then save lakefront for a flagship style ride. Sorry, but the lakefront isn't that beautiful. It's nice but not beautiful. Also, the land has already been wasted for over 20 years. It may not be very aesthetically beautiful but it is sentimental to a lot of people. It was quiet and a sort of escape from the crowds. I know I've had a lot of memories there over the years. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.
  12. It depends with Nitro. The back row near the end of the day gives borderline ejector airtime after the MCBR. And it has tons of floater air everywhere else during all times of the day. I've felt airtime on every B&M hyper I've been on. Even MF (which is tame compared to some hypers) has decent floater air. Everything has airtime but sometimes you aren't aware of it.
  13. Did someone from Premier show up at the park? I said I'm hoping for one. Not saying there will be one.
  14. I looked at the stats for a 10 element Free Spin and the length is only 280 feet. If the measurement of 433 feet from a few pages back is correct, there will be roughly 150 feet of unused space. Also, no one from either S&S or RMC has shown up at the park. This may be me being in denial but I'm still hoping for something similar to Full Throttle.
  15. Probably either Thursday or Friday. No later than Saturday. If not I'll probably wait until Monday.
  16. 1. Your season pass does work at SFNE. If you have the Gold pass you will have free parking. If not, be prepared to pay either $25 for regular, $30 (I believe) for preferred parking, or $5-$10 for parking at a bunch of lots that line the street. 2. If you are going in September, then lines should not be too bad as it's a slow time for parks in general, as well as there is the Big E about 20 mins away and that will draw most of the crowds. Beware of traffic jams that may be caused from the Big E though. If you want to ride Wicked Cyclone a lot, be advised that it is only on the Platinum Flash Pass (about $90), not the other two versions. 3. My advice would be to join the rush and go to Wicked Cyclone and New England Sky Screamer first. They are two of the most popular attractions, NESS's line moves slow due to capacity, so get it out of the way early. WC will consistently be around 35-45 mins throughout the day, avoid it during the peak 12pm-4pm hours though as it can get to over an hour. Pandemonium is also near those two rides and gets a big line fast, so do that third. Bizarro is the other top ride, but with two trains the line won't get too bad as long as it's not a Saturday in mid-late October. Other popular rides are Scream, Goliath, Thunderbolt, Batman, and the Bumper Cars. Personally, I would wait to ride those until a little later in the day, once the crowds die down. If you go back for a second day, try doing Bizarro first, in the front row, before it gets the additional 30 min front row wait. SFNE is a much compact feeling park than Great Adventure, but provides a lot of thrills. Have fun! Thank you this helped me a lot! I have been wanting to go for years and Wicked Cyclone just pushed me over the edge
  17. Hi everyone I am going to visit SFNE for the first time in the fall and I had a few questions before I go. 1. Are SFGADV season passes valid at SFNE? I heard they were but I just want to make sure since SFGADV is my home park. 2. What lines can I expect and if they are long, is Flash Pass worth it? 3. In SFGAdv there is a "route" that you can take to get in all the popular rides before the park gets crowded. Is there something similar in SFNE? I'm only going to be there for 1-2 days so I'd appreciate if I get some advice on what to ride as well.
  18. Last year it was late August but this year it is September 3rd.
  19. I think he didn't mention it because it doesn't appeal to the GP now. All the times I've been to the park it's been a walk on or at most a station wait. But I think that we deserve more than a Free Spin. El Diablo cost I believe $1 million but maybe more. Yes Zumanjaro went over budget, but one can assume since that was over a year ago, the park rebounded. All the coasters added after El Toro have lost popularity. It should be time we get a custom major roller coatser. It's not out of selfishness that enthusiasts want this, it's that we are one of the flagship parks in the chain and arguably the standout park on the east coast. For SFGAM to get two thrilling custom coasters two years apart and we have not gotten one in a decade is a little frustrating.
  20. Well it's not that people hate the ride. I'm sure it's fun, but we have waited 10 years for a custom roller coaster. I would have expected something a little more exciting personally.
  21. That's true but then people could see that a 4D is basically a rolling Twister. We may very well be getting a 4D (I hope not) but a Premier launched or even a wing coaster would further compliment the park's lineup.
  22. Except the guest survey SF sent out proposing a 4d coaster... Just sayin. www.screamscape.com/html/sfgadv-hyperdrive_0.htm They sent out a lot of surveys. A few years ago there was one about a red looping roller coaster that spans PDC and Frontier Adventures. Obviously that never happened. Surveys are just to test public appeal.
  23. It's weird how the announcement is less than two weeks away and there's no hint of what type of coaster it is, only rumors. Hopefully it isn't a 4D. There is no proof to back up any rumors about it. For example, I heard a rumor about a Premier launcher going around behind BBNP and the Log Flume somewhere but I don't remember where I saw it. There is no hard evidence of anything as of now. Also, just because demo is going on in one area doesn't mean it has to be confined to that space. So if the Grandstand is coming down, it would be a good spot for a 4D, but also a launch or brake run. So unless track shows up at the park between now and the announcement, I'm not convinced we are getting a 4D.
