^^ Actually if you were thinking about it in Disney's calendar the 50th anniversary is still goin on till around Nov or Dec, and next time put something worthwhile into your post

It's got a few of the same things from the show at the park, but it also has interviews and a few things the park show left out. It has a lot of old footage from the construction and opening days of Disneyland as well as a good overview of everything goin on for the 50th. Either way if you are a COX cable subscriber, check your listings. Here in CA it is being shown again tomorrow night at 6:30. And next week they will also be showing a special of the premiere from the new pirates movie at DLR. Also on the 16th they will be showing the recent National Geographic documentary "SuperCoasters", as well a couple other coaster shows

So yeah, I leave for Vegas tomorrow night for the first time. I'll be there thursday night - sunday. So what are some things that I gotta check out while I'm there, and not just the coasters and other rides, and for those that don't know me I'm over 21, so I can have the full experience

thanks for the help, and I asked the ride op at Deja Vu and he said that it has nothing to do with the restraints but he bluntly put it that you would lose your legs, for whatever reason

My friend wants to go with me to SFMM next monday, but he's a big guy, he's 6'8". Does anyone know what rides, beside Deja Vu, that he's gonna be too tall to ride.

OK so I was planning on heading up to SFMM tomorrow, but the weather reports are lookin pretty bad with showers predicted all day. So my question is...what rides will SFMM run or not run in the rain. Most importantly will Tatsu run in the rain. My friend and I really just wanna hit up Tatsu, X, Deja Vu, Goliath, Riddler, Scream, and Batman. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

To my knowledge, Flashback is a product of one of the better coaster companies, Intamin. In fact isn't the model type of this coaster an Intamin Space Diver? So here's my thoughts on Flashback. It's kinda like Psyclone, you just have to ride it every now and then to laugh at the pain it dishes out at you, though it's no where near as painful as Psyclone. It is a unique coaster and I think it's a fun coaster to ride. I personally wish they would re-open it, and like someone said before if you practice defensive riding techniques like rolling your head with the drops, the headbanging is not that bad. I have no clue why the ride has been closed for this long, but I think the post about the trains being unsafe to a certain degree may be a substantial claim. Whatever the reason, I hope the new brass over at SFMM do find a way to get Flashback up and running again

^^ I'm pretty sure its California Junior Scholarship Foundation or Federation, I was a member of that back when i was a kid. Yeah I remember one night at Solace a few years back, they ended up splitting the friday night event with CJSF and the lines were pretty bad that night

I know you'll all be devastated to read this , but I will not be submitting a entry this year. I know in the past my videos did rather well, but I haven't had the desire to film at any of the local parks out here recently, and the other footage I have is a few years old now, but I would like to help judge the entries if you'd like some extra help Robb

Count me in, I'll do everything in my power to be there. Hopefully the 3rd year will be the one that breaks the WCB curse for me. Something always seems to come up that keeps me from the event. Plus it'd be really cool to see Chris and Natalee again. Haven't seen them since the East Coast Trek 2 years ago. And like the past couple parties figure I'll be plus 1, even though I have no idea who its gonna be this time haha. It won't be Allison or Juliza though

Let's see I started building it last tuesday, finished on saturday night at 2 in the morning, I must have spent a total of at least 10-15 hours through the course of that week. The video will be available soon, I'm really gonna try to have it done on thursday, though I might be going to DLR that day, no POV though, just off ride As far as site issues go, I just checked it it's up and running, because it's freewebs they make you wait 10 seconds on an ad before you go to the site, so when you click the link just wait a few seconds and it will transfer you over to my site Thanks for the compliments so far

Introducing...... The new 2005 Christmas K'nex Coaster Construction on the track layout is progressing rapidly, so keep checking my site for more updates. http://www.freewebs.com/knex-kreations/ As of 12/14: The entire upper section of the tree has track placed, including, a bridge straightaway from the tv turnaround, a full 360 degree turn, an s turn, an upper pass through the tree, a 90 degree turn, and a diving turn into the tree. Construction should be conitinuing today 12/15 so check for an update soon.

BIG UPDATE TODAY!!! So I continued on the layout this morning creating a bridge straightaway into the tree and then a nice turnaround on top. When I got home from school, I continued working on it, and added an s-turn, pass through the tree, a 90 degree turn, an outer turn, and ended today with another dive inside the tree. So today the tree finally arrived, and I got to work on rebuilding the supprt structure inside the tree. That's all I'm gonna do today, because I have a project to work on and a final tomorrow, so I will begin building the track through the tree tomorrow.
